Jaydan's POV

I watched Victoria leave and my heart broke, I wish I could tell her the truth. But I knew she would hate me, hate me for what I did. I hated myself for what I did.

I couldn't stay here anymore, not in this house not in that office. I needed to go away. Victoria was the only thing keeping me here and now she was gone.

I needed to leave. But I did want Victoria to know the truth so that she can have some clarity and go on with her life. Alec was right. She deserved better than this. She deserved the world. Something a broken man couldn't give.

I started to write a letter addressed to Victoria, which will be delivered at the end of the week at which time I would be long gone.

Dear Victoria...

As soon as the letter was done I packed my bags and went to inform my parents. They were sad but they understood why I was leaving. I told them I broke it off with Victoria because the kidnapping was just to traumatizing for me and that I need to go away for a while, I didn't know how long.

After the hard part was done, I made a phone call. 

"It's me, does your offer still stand?"

So book two is finally done and I'm glad that I could finally share this story with you. I hope you enjoyed this book.
