Jay's POV

I wake up with a start, the bedsheets soft against my naked torso.
Wait?
I was in my bed?

I turn over and face the other way, stretching out my arm, only for it to collide with something. A lump on the other side of my bed. They also turn over and their face is covered by wonky sunglasses.
"RAIN!!!" I yell, making her jump out of her skin.
I jump out of bed and sigh with relief as I see my legs are covered with black sweatpants, however my torso is uncovered.

Rain's POV

Jay moves out of the bed and I notice his torso. I feel the blush come over my face as I realise he's ripped, like seriously...WOW!!
I'm so glad my sunglasses are covering my whole face because not even caffeine can cover that amount of blushing.
Jay looks at me, wide eyed.
"We didn't.....did we..?" He asks, and I scoff at him,
"Don't be thick," I say, rolling my eyes and getting out of bed, still in my leather jacket, "though I'm not gonna lie, I'm hurt you would take me for someone who just sleeps with people"
I do a mock hurt face and he rolls his eyes, pulling on a tight dark blue shirt.

Jay's POV

I'm glad me and Rain didn't.........

It's not that I don't like her, I actually like her a lot, it's just, so sudden. I've only known her a month and this? This would be too fast.
My dad walks in with lattes for the both of us and Rain jumps at him to get her caffeine.

I laugh at her and she pouts at me, sipping coffee.
Coffee? Check
Sunglasses? Check
Leather jacket? Check
So what's missing?

It hits me like a ton of bricks
Her eyes...
Her eyes aren't silver
Her powers are gone.
