Jay's PoV

"So..." He purred, "you came..."

"Stop with the drama and give me what I want" I snap at him. Honestly some people are so much like my dad. Smh.

The figure let out an evil chuckle and stepped out into the light, showing a scorched left hand side of his face. He only had one arm and his eye was black.

"Here's the deal.." he purred in a low voice, "all I want in return....is you."

Taking a step back, i stumble slightly but catch my balance. "M-me?" I stammer, "what do you want with me?"
"To get revenge on your parents; they took everything from me..."
I linger on the thought.

Flashback>>

"What do you mean you won't help Rain?!"
"I mean," said my dad, "it's too dangerous. We don't know where her powers have gone and that scares me"

I cannot believe my ears. "You're backing out of helping her because you're afraid?! COWARD!!"

End of flashback>>

"Okay..." I whisper to the man, "whatever it takes to save the girl I love..."

"Purrrrrfect..." he growls.

Suddenly, I'm floating in mid air. The figure had his gloved hand stretched out to me and it starts to glow yellow. I sigh loudly and suddenly he's pouring his own powers into me. Black and yellow smoke surrounds me until the yellow turns to Blue. My eyes turn black and I hear the man's seductive voice once more.

"Welcome to the dark side.....Paranoia."

I let out an agonised scream as the conversion runs its course, and all I can see is the man grinning with one eye glowing red.
