When I Don't Remember You
An AU I came up with just now. Stacy was also struck by The White Pumpkin (Cassie Rose), but Stampy managed to save her with the use of a command block (probably stolen from Ivor) which slowly starts eating away at her memories and self-control. She had a journal of letters to Stampy apologizing as to why she was acting the way she was. And here is where the story starts.
And both Dan and Lizzie are dead. To make it more depressing. But it's not their story anyway.
~~~Outside the White Pumpkins Mansion~~~
It was a few days since Stacy almost had a dance with death. But a miracle happened, she was saved. Stampy saved her! A command block he managed to pickpocket off of Ivor. Though even if she's fine something seemed off. Maybe not to Stampy, but Stacy definitely knew something was wrong with her.
She had a date with death and she didn't go. The command block did something. Something to me. She violently thought. It couldn't have just saved me, that wouldn't make sense. And I'm assuming Stampy did that out of panic so whatever he put into the block wasn't exactly clear. Or maybe I was always supposed to die from Cassie? Or perhaps I'm just crazy?
She was snapped out of her thoughts when Stampy wanted to rest, which was a good idea since the two have been walking for miles on end. Stacy took refuge under a nice, giant, shady oak tree. While Stampy was frolicking around like a princess with the animals.
Stacy chuckled when she saw what Stampy was doing. For a man, he was so feminine and didn't care what anyone else thought. But Stacy's nice thoughts didn't last, for she took out an almost-empty notebook, a quill, and a little jar of ink. She opened to a fresh page (for some of the pages were used for drawings and dumb poems or theories on who the murder was) and started to write.
Stampy,
Is it just you and me in the wreckage of the world? That must be so confusing for a little boy. And I know you're going to need me here with you. But I'm losing myself, and I'm afraid you're going to lose me too.
The power keeps me alive, but it's making me crazy. And I need to save you. But who's going to save me? Please, forgive me for whatever I do. When I don't remember you.
- Stacy
She briefly sketched a chicken that was resting near the group of animals, but then she got up. "Come on Stampy, we have a long walk ahead of us." She called out.
Stampy pouted like a child, "Five more minutes?"
"Now," Stacy ordered.
"Okay... bye animals!" Stampy told the animals, before running up next to Stacy so the two could walk together.
Over a year or so the two went portal hopping. In one world they explored giant ruins of a castle, while in another they feasted on cakes and pumpkin pie! There was one world where the two were forced to sleep amongst a heard of fluffy sheep.
Stacy often wrote more and more in her notebook, her letters always ending with the same sentences: Please, forgive me for whatever I do. When I don't remember you.
Though she could never bring herself to show Stampy the notebook. What would he think? Would he even believe her? Would he feel guilty for doing this to her?
Eventually, the two found their way into the world of New The Order of the Stone and settled in BeaconTown. Building houses right next to each other. Stampy became the Parrot Prince, and Stacy had her own little farm.
But we all know what happens next. Romeo attacked BeaconTown and the two friends joined the New Ocelots to help protect it. This is when Stampy finally started to notice something was wrong with Stacy. She could barely remember other peoples names, she completely forgot about Dan, Sparklez, and Lizzie, she even forgot his name from time to time. Her right eye changed from a beautiful green to a greedy gold and her left eye was almost gold as well, only a few spots and slivers of that lovely green was left.
Stampy was also horrified on what Stacy has done while they were in the Ocelots. Training like her life depended on it. She almost killed a few people if Stampy and the others hadn't been there to stop her. He never frowned so much in his life.
~~~
A few months after Romeo was defeated everything seemingly went back to normal, except for Stacy. Stampy saw her less and less until it seemed like she vanished or became a hermit. Winks barking also ceased to exist.
Though one morning, Stampy opened his front door and saw a notebook lying on his doorstep. He picked it up and opened to the first page, it said it belonged to Stacy! Maybe she's sick and didn't want to infect me? Is this a gift? It looks used. Maybe she's trying to tell me something?
He opened to the latest page, for it was marked with a ribbon and started to read to himself. His lips moving but no words came out. He could only hear Stacy's voice as he read the letter.
Stampy,
I can feel myself slipping away. I can't remember what it made me do. But I remember when I saw you frown. I swear it wasn't me it was the block.
The power keeps me alive, but it's making me crazy. And I need to save you. But who's going to save me? Please, forgive me for whatever I do. When I don't remember you.
But you're so annoying, you pitiful, young lad. I'd like to help you, but who knows how long I can? I thought you were nuts. But you're really, really, really nuts.
Every time I move eventually you find me and start hanging around. Just another excuse to explore. Man, it's getting me down.
You know I'm actually glad, to be so close with you.
So it means I'm the one whose nuts.
It's not your fault. I don't want you to see the person I'll become. So, please, forgive me for whatever I do.
But I don't remember you.
- Stacy
Was this a joke? Stampy sure thought so. He flipped page to page, letter to letter. They all spoke about the same thing. This was his fault. He used the dumb block to heal her, this was his fault! All because he couldn't live without her? Now she's gone? "This can't be true!" Stampy shouted into the air, "please let this be a dream!"
But he knew it wasn't a dream. She was gone. Poof. She left without telling him. To start a new life or to finally end it? He'll never know. It would haunt him for the rest of his life. He stormed back inside and threw the book towards a wall with a little THUMP! The book laid open on the floor. And all the page said was, "I don't remember you."

Somewhere, in a world with three moons, a woman walked amongst the trees. A pack of wolves, her pack of wolves, followed her wherever she went. One of the wolves the woman had when he was just a puppy, that wolf was Wink.
The woman had long brown hair and a blue and white striped sweater. Along with carpenter pants, boots, and a satchel filled with everything she needed.
Though as the woman and her wolf pack wandered through the night she was stopped by Winks growling. A blue parrot and a cat appeared from the bushes. The woman calmed her pet and approached the two creatures which took a liking to her very quickly. "Well, I guess we can always have two more." She chuckled.
The blue parrot rested itself on her head, and it felt so familiar. Like something or someone she knew did this before. She racked her brain for answers, she had no idea what this reminded her of. She lost almost all of her memories. She couldn't even remember her own name!
But the birds' magnificent blue feathers reminded her of someone. Blue. One of your friends had a parrot named blue. The voice in her head said.
But she ignored the voice like the normally did and gently pet the birds head with her finger. "I'll name you Dan." The woman proclaimed.
Then there was the cat. It was mostly orange with some white fur on its face, a giant white spot on its stomach, and some white fur on its paws. It had green eyes that made the women heart ache, yet she didn't know why. The voice in the woman's head argued with her as she pets the feline. The voice kept repeating words like: You know him! He was your friend! Along with a name she didn't recognize.
The cat looked up at the woman and continued to purr. The wolf pack creating a circle around their Alpha. The woman smiled and finally came up with a name for her new feline friend. "Your name is Lizzie."
Then the mental voice went silent.
