After Sunoo left, the team fell back into their rhythmic cycle of practice, drills, and fine-tuning their routine. Ni-ki focused on his movements, but for some reason, his mind kept flickering back to that moment earlier—when he had caught Sunoo, the way his eyes had widened in surprise, the way he had flustered so easily.
He shook the thoughts away. Not important.
Once practice ended, Ni-ki grabbed his things and headed home, expecting to meet Sunoo there for the measurement session. What he didn't expect was to walk into his house and find his sisters—Konon and Misora—already chatting away with Sunoo, looking way too comfortable with him.
And Sunoo? He was sitting on the couch, his fox-like eyes focused on whatever ridiculous thing his sisters were showing him. His lips were slightly parted, a soft hum leaving them every now and then as if he were genuinely interested in whatever drama they were raving about.
Ni-ki furrowed his brows.
"Wait... how did he even get in?"
His sisters never let anyone in—not even him sometimes.
"Konon," Ni-ki called, crossing his arms. "Why did you let him in? I never sent a text."
Konon turned to him with an unimpressed look. "Well, he looked like the kind of guy you'd flirt with, so I let him in."
Ni-ki's cheeks dusted pink at the casual way she said it.
She wasn't wrong... but that wasn't the point.
"And that helped how?" he shot back, narrowing his eyes.
Konon simply shrugged. "If he looks like my future brother-in-law, I'm letting him in."
Ni-ki groaned, covering his face in exasperation. He hated her.
Not really. But at this moment? Yes.
Sunoo, who had been quiet during the exchange, suddenly let out a lighthearted giggle, his shoulders shaking slightly. The soft sound made something flutter in Ni-ki's stomach, and he absolutely hated that too.
What the hell was that?
Wanting to escape this awkward situation, Ni-ki cleared his throat and turned to Sunoo. "Shall we head up to my room?"
Sunoo nodded, still smiling.

Once inside his room, Ni-ki leaned against the wall, watching as Sunoo took out his measuring tape and notepad.
"Alright," Sunoo said, professional and focused. "I need you to stand like a windmill."
Ni-ki raised a brow. "A windmill?"
"Yeah. Arms out, straight posture. It makes measuring easier."
Suppressing a sigh, Ni-ki obeyed, extending his arms. He definitely felt stupid.
Sunoo got to work, his delicate hands brushing over Ni-ki's arms, shoulders, and torso as he took the necessary measurements. The air between them grew heavier, the tension almost palpable.
When Sunoo moved to measure his chest, Ni-ki felt the tape press lightly against him. Sunoo's fingers occasionally skimmed over his skin as he adjusted the tape, and Ni-ki couldn't help but notice the way the older boy's cheeks tinged pink the longer it took.
The sight was... adorable.
Ni-ki smirked.
"Are you done, or are you just looking for an excuse to keep touching my chest?" he teased, voice low and smooth.
Sunoo froze.
Immediately, he pulled his hands back as if he had touched fire. His face flared red, but he quickly schooled his expression into one of exaggerated disgust.
"N-No, you pervert!" he snapped, glaring at him before dramatically tossing the measuring tape into his bag. "I got your measurements, so I'm leaving."
Still flustered, Sunoo turned on his heel, heading for the door. "Jungwon texted me, so I need to go over anyway."
Ni-ki chuckled at how obviously flustered he was.
"Before you go," Ni-ki called out, "tell Konon that you're not my boyfriend before she starts asking you weird questions."
Sunoo scoffed. "Fine," he muttered before heading downstairs.
Ni-ki listened from his room as the front door opened, then—
"Sunoo, before you go, quick question! What do you think about Ni-ki? Is he your type? What if he confesses, would you say yes?"
Ni-ki's eyes widened.
"Oh my god—"
There was a beat of silence, then Sunoo's exasperated groan before the door finally clicked shut behind him.
A few seconds later, Konon waltzed into Ni-ki's room, arms crossed and smirking like the devil himself.
"You like him," she said smugly. "In some twisted way, you totally like him."
Ni-ki groaned, rubbing his temples. "I've literally only known him for four hours, Konon."
She raised an unimpressed brow. "Yeah. And you said that about all the other ones."
"Shut up," he grumbled.
Konon just grinned. "Mhm. Sure."
Ni-ki huffed, throwing a pillow at her, which she dodged effortlessly.
As she left his room, Ni-ki fell back onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling.
"I do not like him ."
...Right?
