*Mia's POV*

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. Ren turned his head as I screamed and Ian plunged the knife into Slender's chest. My heart skipped a beat as Slender vanished and Ian turned to look at me.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

I was about to reply when Ren cut me off. "He's gone let's go." Ren said walking over to Rin and picking him up:

"No you need to get us out of here!" I cried.

"I can't here. I have to do it outside where I feel safe and that's at our clubhouse!"

I bit my lip. We'd have to move fast. But what if we don't move fast enough...? I tremble at the thought.

"What's wrong Mia?" Ian asked.

I hesitated. I could tell him and worry him but I didn't have the guts to say. I could be wrong and there's nothing to worry about. I'd keep an eye out just incase.

"Nothing. We just need to go fast." I replied.

"Agreed. Now let's go." Ren said and we all followed him out of the room.

Ren led us back to the elevator and hit the up button. The doors opened up and we stepped out. Still no sign of Slender. For now. Ren gave Rin to Ian.

"Get back to the clubhouse. I'll be along shortly." He said.

"Where are you going?" I asked confused and worried.

Ren's eyes saddened and he shuffled his feet. "There's something I need to do..."

Ian's eyes softened and he nodded. "Go ahead, we'll meet you there."

Ren gave a small nod and headed down a hallway while I followed Ian
outside.

"What happened?" I asked.

"His little sister was killed..."

"Oh..." I felt a little bit like a jerk and now I felt bad.

The rest of the walk was silent. Rin's breathing became steadier and some color returned to his face. I kept an eye out for Slender but he never showed. Maybe Ian really had killed him. But I wasn't fully convinced, I wouldn't be till we got out of here. We reached the clubhouse and sat down while we waited for Ren.

"We did it Mia. We're going to get out of here." Ian whispered happily.

I smiled and nodded. "Yes we did it."

Ian's grin widened and he fist pumped in the air. "Yeah! Screw you Slender!" He cried.

I smiled but I wasn't going to celebrate till I was out of here.

After a little while Ren came in. His cheeks slightly tear stained. Rin had woken up but Ian and I refused to let him stand. Ren gave Rin a big hug and apologized for everything and told him what Ian did to Slender.

"I knew you two could do it!" He cried.

Ian chuckled. "It was actually more of Ren. He let us out and he helped pin Slender down."

Rin looked at his brother and smiled. "Thank you Ren."

Ren nodded and Rin looked back at us. "I was glad to have met you both Ian and Mia. Thank you so much. It's time to send you home"
