Finally back in oberoi mansion :

Anika left shivaay's side as soon as they entered inside the mansion .
Shivaay snarled not at all liking this behavior but kept quiet .
All this was observed by a pair of eyes .
She smirked and called someone .
Caller : let the game begin .

Anika enters om's room :
Om was busy on call .
Anika stand beside his paintings and watching them with admiration .

Om after finishing his call ,

Om : why u always keep on looking at them as if u r seeing them for the first time ?

Anika : i can't help it they all are amazing om . Still staring at his masterpiece .

Om : only you could say that ...

Anika : hey why do u say so ???

Om : nobody even remembers that i have an exhibition tomorrow . What a price to pay for being adopted ???
Om was at his sarcastic best .

Anika glared at him ...
Anika : news flash shivaay gave me an off day tomorrow so that i can be with you whole day and help you .

Om : really ???

Anika : offcourse , om why do u think nobody loves you ??

Om raised his eyebrow at that question as if saying do i even need to answer that ....

Anika signed ,
Anika : om don't let one person's feeling's rule you ...
Om looked away
Anika : shivaay loves you , infact he'll be there by afternoon to cheer you . Rudy is on leave tomorrow he'll be getting all his friends to volenteer for the event . Pinky aunty will be inaugaurating the event imagine how proud she will feel . Shakti uncle will be there beside you throughout and let me tell you a secret it was suppose to be a surprise for you but ... no problems even priyanka is flying down from london first thing in the morning .

Om was overwhemled , anika side hugged him and made him sit on the bed with her .
Anika : tomorrow is your day om how can you think your family will not acknowledge that .

Om : the way you say this you make me feel like a culprit om make a baby face .

Anika hugged him tightly and ruffled his hair .
Anika : comon big baby go to sleep its a big day tomorrow .

Om : ok momma 😉
Anika made an O face
And both burst out laughing .
This scene was observed by two people . Anika moved out of om's room once she was sure om was ok .
As anika was walking down the corridor she felt a sudden push and she realised she was in shivaay' s arms .
Yes the whole scene was witnessed by shivaay as he came to om for saying him all the best as he might not be able to attend his event . 🤔

Shivaay : so i'll be attending om's event after lunch huh ....
Shivaay asked anika in very straight voice .

Anika : yeah came a straight reply as well .

Shivaay : how can u decide on my behalf anika ?

Anika : oh so you don't want to attend the  event ok i'll inform om he'll be upset but how does it effect you right .
Anika can be blunt at times

Shivaay : you know how i feel about om anika . But i have meetings I can't postpone them .

Anika : already done u have no meetings after 1 tomorrow
Saying this anika raised her eyebrows as if challenging him to say something else .

Shivaay gave an surprised look .

Anika : know spill the beans i know u want to be with om then why you are not saying it .

Shivaay signed he cant hide it from her how can he forget she is his mind reader .

Shivaay : i dont want to upset om anika its his big day tommorow i dont want to spoil it for him . I wont be able to bear it if bcoz of us he'll feel he is not part of our family . People talk a lot anika .

Anika : then u should be standing beside your brother shivaay to stop anything bad coming towards him . U r great wall of shivaay dont laid back knw . U know how happy om was when he came to know u will there with him .

Shivaay smiled ok  ill reach there by 1
Anika : u better .

All this was heard by the second person who was also the witness of anika - om scene .

For the first time that person also smiled at the thoughtfulness of this 23 yrs old women .
She is an asset thought the person . But the game has begun let's c how this ferocious tigress win this .

Next day :

Om for the first time was feeling on top of the world . His mom and dad accompanied him and even helped him in selecting his dress . They were there with him the whole time . Anika was running from one corner to another making every thing easier for him .

Om's monologue :

Today is the best day of my life . What a beautiful morning i saw my mom and dad together after so long . They were talking to each other about my work . They even got me a new dress i m feeling like a 6 yr old who's gonna start his 1st grade today . But who cares i love this attention they r my mom and dad . Shivaay wished me at the breakfast table and promised me he'll be there by 1 i know he will be there bcoz my elder brother never breaks promises 😀 . The surprise element is rudy today he is standing by me with his all the friends .
And my best friend my secret keeper my anika .... she is all over the place just to make sure that this event succeds . Anika what a breath of fresh air in oberoi mansion . My brother's best friend but i so wish to acknowledge her as my bhabs . I wish this happens but my stuborn brother will never realise anika's real place in his life . I really hope the realization happens soon bcoz life is unpredictable .

Om came out of his thoughts as he saw anika laughing and talking to someone . Om move towards them suddenly the girl turned and om was glued on his place . Many thoughts came in his mind he was in shocked state to see .....
