The car rushed inside the gate of RM as if hell is hounding behind it, he did not let the machine to stop before he jumped out of the car running towards the steps leading to the door of the house and did not stop till he reached his room. Behind him Akash too had ran with the same rush, both the men shivering in panic. Everyone was inside the room standing around the bed looking at the pale figure in concern.

His heart wrenched as he sat beside her, taking her cold hand in his "Khushi!!!"

Akash looked at Abhay "What had happened? How did Bhabi...." He left the sentence in midway not able to utter what they have been informed in phone by Maami.

His (Abhay) jaw tightening he replied in flat voice but anyone looking in his eyes would know he is burning in anger "Doctor said she was given some drugs which stopped blood flow to heart few minutes. It was given in little amount else anything would have happened." Arnav shivered in fear and anger. Fear to sense the danger of losing his Khushi again........and Anger towards the person for they dared to hurt his love.

His sharp voice came out coldly "Who?"

Abhay "don't know Arnav, HP brought the juice for Khushi. She had drunk it whole and suddenly she was lying on the floor"

Maami nodding her head wiping her tears "Yes bitwa, we were all there talking in the living room. HP came with Khushi's juice. She was one minute all fine all laughing and smiling, and then other second she felt fainting......her face turned white......she could not talk.......she could not breath......keeping her hand on her chest.........then she just closed her eyes.....sliding to the floor. We got scared and called doctor soon before calling you all. Doctor came and checked her. We thought she fainted but......"[Note: This is fiction. I really don't know if such a drug is there. In fiction anything happens which is why Doctor too could make out it is the effect of drug without running any test like they do in hospital before confirming it for sure.]

Nani continued from her "Doctor said he is sure it is drugs effect on her. He had seen such cases lot. Soon enough Khushi bitiya woke up. He gave her injection. Now she is resting."

Maami "He said the drug is mixed with food or any eatable or drinks and given to her. She was fine when we had lunch. It is only she had the juice she passed out. We told him that and he had sent the glass from which Khushi was drinking juice to a lab to confirm it. And he also had taken blood sample of Khushi along with it."

Arnav looked at HP, the later shivering in fear.....his face all pale "bhaiya I did not do anything to bhabi.......I always bring the juice for bhabi the same time as per your order. I will not hurt bhabi bhaiya. I'm not......."

Anjali "HP tells us did you make the juice or someone else."

HP "Payal bhabi, she made the juice"

Everyone's eye turned to Payal, she was standing at the corner crying but now looking at everyone's suspicious eyes on her she felt worst......her eyes went to Akash who looked at her with rage.....seeing the distrust in his eyes made her want to die......shaking her head she cried "No.....no....I can never do this to her"

Akash strode to her, clutching her arm "Can't you? Or did you forgot what happened months back?" he hissed "I asked you to stay away from her. How dare you?"

Buaji rushed to them, pulling Payal away "Chodo usse. She had done nothing" Garima took Payal in her arms, her own eyes felt heavy with the unshed tears. Akash "Get out from my eyes." His words pierced her heart like dagger. Garima took her away from the room with Buaji left behind them glaring at the Raizada's.

No one was able to digest the fact seeing the anger in Akash face......they had never seen such a thunderous expression on him. He was always cool and sensible type. But today he had shouted at his wife. Was so in anger no one could believe it to be their Akash, even Anjali was astounded to see this. She thought Arnav would react badly but.......Oh it is her......her who mixed the drug in Khushi juice knowing well if something happens to Khushi then Payal would be blamed and will be thrown out of the house by Arnav but never thought Akash will react like this.

Nani "Bitwa Payal bitiya could not have done anything. She will not harm Khushi"

Snapping his head to his Daadi "You know nothing Daadi" he rushed out of the room in black mood.

In Guest room, Payal "Amma I did not do anything.....I will never harm Khushi. I don't know how it has happened."

"I know bitiya......I know you will never do such thing." She held her in her arms as Payal cried thinking of the blame came on her and how her husband now would never trust her. Their relationship was already in tethered and now what if he leaves her. Oh God!!!

The following days were more torturous for her, Maami never left a chance to taunt her "Hello Hi Bye Bye.....don't you make anything for us. Who know what you will mix in it" Payal watched as Akash said nothing to Maami's jibe towards her. Instead he left the place.

"From now onwards HP, you and OP will cook for us. You koon bhari taang stay away from kitchen.....*muttering under her breathes* it would be better if she stays away from us."

Giving her a hard look she left the place, Buaji glared at Manorama's back. Payal could do nothing but stay as out casted in the house.

Buaji fumed seeing her niece suffering for that characterless girl. The pain and sorrow in Payal's eye making her boil in rage......that girl cannot take away Payal's happiness. No she will not let that girl destroy her niece life.

"Khushi!!!!.......Khushi!!!!......aye Khushi!!!!........."shouting at the top of her voice she gave shudder to the whole Raizada Mansion. Payal and Garima came hurrying first, looking at her face they glanced at each other worriedly.

Payal "Buaji what are you doing? Please quiet down"

"Jiji tanik shaant ho jao" worried with the untimely unwanted behavior of her sister in law which sure will land her daughter's married life in problem. Why doesn't she understand? The more she does something bad the more damage it will cause Payal.

All rushed out of their room to the hall where Buaji is crying out Khushi's name loudly. Akash looked at his wife who is begging Buaji to stop and not create a scene.

Looking at Khushi standing at the base of the stairs with Arnav standing before her, she marched forward like a bull to her. There was no time to blink when all happened in a gif....having pushed Arnav out of the way she had slapped Khushi tight shouting "You are disgrace to the family."

The slap was so hard Khushi steps faltered and she was going to fall but Abhay held her glaring at Buaji with murderous expression. Having come out of the shock being pushed he rushed to Khushi who now is in standing with the support of Abhay. She tried to slap her again when Arnav held her hand in the middle "how dare you? How dare you hit her? Who gave you rights to touch her?"

Pushing her away he shouted at her thundering like a stormy cloud "Meri patni par haat lagani ki himmat kaisi ki aapne."

Nani "Madhumathi ji yeh aap Khushi bitiya ko....." her shocked voice brought others too from shock of the scene.

Buaji getting hysterical "This girl......this girl is disgrace to the family. Do you know what this girl had done? She got involved with other man when she was betrothed to Shaym babua. She got pregnant without marriage, she disgraced the family, and she is black spot in the family. And do you know with whom she had affair then listen to me carefully Devyani ji.....it is none other than with your Arnav bitwa. These two were at wrong and he is now showing attitude and tevar towards us. Don't you both have shame? And these people are destroying my Payaliaa's life. How should I keep quiet? This man kicked us out of our house and because of this girl my Payaliaa is facing problem in her life. See this shameless girl....chiii....and standing before us like she did not do anything wrong.' Glaring at the shivering Khushi enveloped in Arnav's arm.

Nani trembled with everything she heard; she called feebly "Chotte......"

Arnav glared at Buaji not paying heed to his Nani's cry of shock "And what did you do? Huh? We agree it was wrong of us to lost control and our sense for that one moment but what you did cannot be forgiven. You sinned by killing our child. How that sounds? And what more you were killing my Khushi too."

Nani "Chotte" she felt weak hearing this. Akash held her supporting her fragile form.

Arnav "haan Nani, months back the day we went for Akash rishta for Payal I found out Buaji had aborted my and Khush's child without her consent and what more she had been given wrong medicines which was fatal to her life. She would have died." he shouted frustrated at the nerve of Buaji standing as if she had no qualm of what she did.

"Maana humne glathi ki hai......humse galthi hue hai.....we did not planned it.....it just happened without our control. I was planning to tell you Nani. I was going to tell you I want to get married to Khushi and not to Lavanya. I was going to tell you I love Khushi and not Lavanya. I was going to tell you I cannot live without Khushi but before I could confess to you I was wishing to talk with Khushi. She just stopped coming here. There was no phone call from her. If I tried to call her then her phone comes switched off. I thought she needs time to come to term of what happened between us. I know it was not easy for her to accept everything happened. We let our love rule us and when we came to sense we could not go back. But how will I know Khushi was house arrested? How will I know what is happening with her. I came to know the entire hideous thing done to her on the day to when we took Akash's proposal for Payal. Can you think what I went through seeing her so fragile.....so pale.....lifeless before my eyes? She looked like a fallen star.....all broken. She was beaten mercilessly by this woman. Doctor said she had bruises all over her body. Her abortion was done in illegal way and unhygienic.The medicine being given to her would weaken her uterus at the end will make her so weak will lead her to death. I died Nani. I died that day when I heard about my child and what is happening to Khushi. I was in the brink of losing her what if I was late. Can you think Nani? Ask this woman did she have no heart when she killed our child? She behaved like a monster to Khushi. And have no shame on her act. No guilty conscious for killing an innocent soul."

"Voh najaiz bacha iss duniya mein aane se accha marna hi tha" Buaji's venomous words stunned chilling everyone in the room. Khushi looked at her wide eyes, her heart stopping hearing her words. Her mind swirling to the time of her short pregnancy, she swayed.

Arnav held Khushi's limp form, scooping her in his arm "Kabardhar if you bad mouth about my child. I don't want this woman standing in-front of me. Get out of my house." his dangerously low voice was a sign he will not stop from hurting her if she stands before him anymore minute. Buaji's face paled, in her anger she had uttered many things but now when she realized her homeless situation, the blood from her face leaving her making her look like ghost. He looked down at Khushi's pained eyes looking at him with sorrow of ocean, not looking at anyone he carried her to their room. Enough of enough, that woman has crossed all the limits today.

"Payal ask you family to leave the house. They had done enough now." His voice filled with anger and disgust towards her family. He left the place going out not able to stay in the stifling atmosphere. Maami who till now was in silent due to shock of truth came in-front of them did not mince a word "Either you ask your family to leave the house or they will be pushed out along with you."

Payal cried hearing everything. She looked at Garima and Shashi helplessly, her eyes looking at Buaji with disgust, folding her hands she begged "Please leave this house at once." She rushed away not able to stand there any longer.

Maama ji "Amma chalo let me take to your room" he led her to her room with Manorama following them. Abhay and Anjali too left to their room leaving behind Buaji, Garima, and Shashi.

"Now you are happy. What did you achieve by doing this? Why can't you leave my daughters alone?" her silent voice brought Buaji from her reverie of blunders she did. Shaking her head at Buaji she pushed her husband wheelchair to pack the bags. There is nothing left now.
