I giggle as my momma slips on my bookbag for me with her bear hands. I look up to stare into her kind, hazel eyes. Human face with a bear snout. Pretty and strong.

"I'm a squirrel-cat!" I giggle, as I jump from branch to branch on the floor.

"Yes you are!" Momma bear says, laughing. She looked sad and tired. "Now let's go to school."

We get our large cattle cart , and I giggle loudly as I cry out, "Squirrel-cat, squirrel-cat, SQUIRREL-CAT!"

"Yes, you are a squirrel cat," she says. "Now shush." She rubs her soft paw down my hair, flattening my ears slightly.

Then, she puts on my favorite songs as we leave our beautiful tree house, heading to school full of other animals.
