That being said, the media used in this fanfiction do not belong to me and I do not own any character except for the OC and some altered stories.

→ Characters' personalities and backgrounds may not have anything to do with their real life counterparts. This fanfiction is fictional and written by a fan of BTS, IU and the show Squid Game.

→ I might make some mistakes with grammar, typos etc and may forget some details from the show as I do not have perfect memories.

→ Sorry if using the same title as the original show is weird and confusing but I really am lazy to change stuff now that I've made the graphics lmao. I also had no idea for it. I hope it's still okay.

→ No one has to justify anyone's doings whether good or bad or ambiguous in this, I don't wanna fuel some serious arguments. I mean, you can appreciate a character without trying to defend the fictional character to the point you justify the wrong acts and bring it to real life. Please be decent. No one is perfect and we all know that.

→ Constructive criticism is allowed.

→ The genres are the same as the original's. Don't expect too much about romance but do expect it and drama though just not too much because I'm not even sure.

→ Just because I use BTS and IU as faceclaims, it doesn't mean I aggressively or even ship them in real life. IU (Lee Jieun) 's appearance always fit the OC I have in mind and I'm more familiar with where to find resources of her too, so it's easier for me to use her as a faceclaim.

→ Unconfirmed fan theories may be included and used, just so you know.

→ This is an OT7 fanfiction, for your information. I cannot say much but there will be an ending though. And a different kind of overall ending.

→ UMMM if you're here I'm assuming you've watched and finished watching Squid Game so you're warned ahead of the dark themes in it. WARNING: There will be descriptions of gore, blood, violence that include stabbing and etc.

Lee Yeona wasn't a fan of studying at all, or at least, just not anymore — so she was fine to die while locked up in her house with books, stranded in an unfamiliar neighbourhood of Daegu or Seoul, in the alleys, or anywhere she just got to after running away from home. When she unexpectedly reunites with Min Yoongi, an old friend while walking aimlessly, they discover that they both have sunk to the bottom in their own circumstances. For a year, she practiced with him a peaceful yet reckless lifestyle. And one fateful day, a stranger proposed a game of ddakji to them with money as prizes and they were given an odd invitation card to participate in a game for more.

However, Yoongi mysteriously disappeared soon after and she had to leave for the game alone by their hideout — for a deadly game where just street smarts and a good heart probably won't be enough to bag the winning prize.

With a number of unpredictable contestants, perhaps unbeknownst to people behind the twisted game, their play and countermeasures might have to be different this year...
