Squary's About To Talk *eyeroll*: Answering Some Questions
Hey guys! How are you? I'm good yeah, yeah. Bet you're wondering what this piece is...
Basically, I've been asked a lot of questions on Wattpad and elsewhere too. Basically, I am going to answer some. Yes this is kind of like some shitty Q&A. Except it's frequently asked questions that are on the verge of pissing me off, others I just want to answer because I want to stop explaining myself.
Question one:
Do you have any stories you hate?
Yes, I do. Bucket loads. Pieces that I am bored with, that I've given up on, and simply stories that didn't turn out the way they were meant to. Sometimes I go from hating a piece to at least liking it. Let's take one of my popular fanfics on here for example, "Who?".
I came up with that piece a few days after I finished watching Ouran High School Host Club with subs. I began to make notes on things while my sister, Blivz and I watched the dubbed version ((she can't keep up with subtitles so I have to deal with *dramatic thunderclap* *lightning flash* *camera zooms in on me* dub acting)) but when I actually started getting into the piece...it wasn't how I imagined it would be and it made me feel kind of crappy because I thought I had the skill to do my idea justice...but when the reads and votes suddenly skyrocketed I felt a bit happier, like maybe it didn't matter since I still view my writing to be like that of a newbie despite being a published writer being my dream for over ten years. It made me like Kuri a bit more and her relationship with Sora and their interactions with Tamaki and Kyoya. It made me WANT to write the sequel instead of feel obligated due to the cliffhanger I left "Who?" on.
Question two:
You say that Reigisa ((Ryugazaki Rei x Hazuki Nagisa)) is your OTP to end all OTPs but you've never written a fic just about them, why?
I love Reigisa. Like the question says, it IS my OTP to end all OTPs but there is a specific reason that I have never posted a Reigisa focused fanfic. And I think it's pretty simple to comprehend once you're aware of why. I DON'T YET HAVE ENOUGH UNDER MY BELT TO WRITE A FIC, I DON'T HAVE A LONG ENOUGH FLUFFY REIGISA PLAYLIST, I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH AU REFERENCES, AND I DON'T WANT TO WRITE AN OTP FOCUSED FIC HALF ASSED.
Simples c; HOWEVER I'm WORKING on that Reigisa centred fic, Coconut Shampoo and I'll let you know when that will be up when it's closer to that time *cough cough* April. I'll let you all know in April.
In the meantime, there is another semi-Reigisa focused piece that I'm working with, it's that tattoo shop AU I mentioned in my last piece, I'm pretty sure I'm going to call it Inked Heart or something along those lines.
Question three:
When will Truly Beautiful #3 come out?/ When will you post Truly Committed?/ When will the third "Truly..." book come?
Truly Beautiful was only meant to be a one time thing but I love it, I love my characters ever so much. I want to tell you, my dear readers that the "Truly..." series' third book will be out soon...but it won't. And for that I am really sorry. But like I have said before, my education is more important. Hey, there's always my collab with Ayzis-chan.
It is highly likely that I will waste another summer writing fanfics again because I feel obligated to provide stories for you guys and in that time, Truly Committed is likely to be posted. I have fanfics coming out of my ears. I have so many to write!!!
Question four: ((this one doesn't actually make me mad, it's funny to get))
Which writer inspired your "mass murder" style of writing, particularly in Attack on Titan fanfics?
Well Attack On Titan fanfiction is the only place that I am free to commit loads of mass murder. I can kill lots of people and that style wasn't a recent thing I picked up. I've killed characters from day one:
SQUAY'S STORY SPOILERS AHEAD:
Chance died, Raven died, Clove & Cato died, Marlea died, Shizu' died ((but of course you all knew THAT)), Dwaine died, Sienna's family died. I kill lots of characters in both original works and fanfiction.
I have been reading books for a long time that involved death. Michael Morpurgo was one of those writers I looked up to when I was a LOT younger. I got into Jacqueline Wilson when I was a bit older and she wrote about death too. I got older and read books about death, from simple old age death to mass murder. That has influenced me. However one thing I have learned from all of these death filled books is that death is not a willy nilly concept. That and the fact that when my dog died it influenced how I kill people off. It has to CHANGE you in one way or another. It WILL change you, altar you, IMPACT you.
I found that AOTC is a great place to show how death can impact you. And I'm looking forward to continuing the fanfic to show my readers what I have in store.
Thanks guys! >w< Anymore questions?
