29th March 2K16 - HBD Den-chan, Monthly Matsuno Madness, JyuushIchi

The pair in matching hoodies leave their home. Jyuushimatsu and Ichimatsu were going to spend an entire day doing nothing in particular, together. It was something they would do once every month to escape their brothers. Though they loved them, the constant chaos that the Matsuno household lived in was not always well received by the rather isolated Ichimatsu.

It was approximately eight months ago that he decided he would follow Jyuushimatsu and spend time with his younger brother. But doing that actively became taxing on the lonely introvert, so he reverted to exerting all of his social energy in one burst – once a month so he had time to recuperate.

Jyuushimatsu never minded the monthly misadventures he and Ichimatsu would embark upon. They did not actively discuss them when in the company of their other brothers in fear that they would disturb the time they dedicate to escapism from the other Matsuno brothers.

The younger of the pair smiles at his more closed off brother, "So, Ichimatsu-niisan, what shall we do?"

Ichimatsu simply shrugs – he tends to thrive on the more spontaneous nature of the day. By shrugging off the question, he has given his younger brother considerably more control than he necessarily needs.

Jyuushimatsu grins at Ichimatsu. His brother responds with a small smile.

"Hustle! Hustle! Muscle! Muscle!" Jyuushimatsu shouts, striding down the street, raising his knees higher as he moves, grinning like a crazy person.

Ichimatsu rolls his head and hesitates at first, and although he refrains from echoing his younger brother's words, he does mirror his actions, half a step behind him. They walk in this manner until they get to a rather isolated park – the one in which Jyuushimastu plays baseball.

A mischievous grin crosses Jyuushimatsu's face as he goes toward a small building and returns with rope and a comically large baseball bat. Ichimatsu sighs and allows his brother to bind him to the bat. This was how Jyuushimatsu gained upper body strength, by carrying his older brother and swinging him as a bat. At least he wasn't being used to strike baseballs – that would be painful.

Jyuushimatsu swings Ichimatsu 200 times before he gets queasy and they call it quits for the day. Ichimatu then leads Jyuushimatsu into the park again, namely toward the play area, it harbours money bars and a rope castle – this is an area where Ichimatsu can enjoy himself. He and his brothers always used to race to get to the top of the rope castle as children. He was always the fastest of the six and that tended to irk the competitive Jyuushimatsu. The brothers share a glance, both smirking before they charge toward the mess of cables.

The brother in yellow has substantial coordination but nothing can rival Ichimatsu when he embraces his inner feline. The older one of the pair, Ichimatsu skids beneath the original set of wires so he can be in the centre while Jyuushimatsu fumbles with the chords on the outside.

"Ichimatsu-niisan! I'm already almost halfway there and you've not even climbed onto the chords yet! Don't tell me that the grand cat lord has admitted defeat!"

Ichimatsu's competitive and somewhat sadistic side shines through his dull brown eyes, animated with intensity as his physical form appears to morph into a cat man's. He leaps into the mess of chords with his hands outstretched so he can clamber his way up, clearing large quantities of ground through his agile leaps from place to place. "Never."

The two square up as they approach the top, Ichimatsu leaping for it and seizing the top chord, swinging his way up. "Kneel, young Jyuushimatsu! Bow before Ichimatsu-sama!"

"Yes, Ichimatsu-sama!" the defeated brother in canary yellow groans in monotone. He was so sure that he would win this time, and to think that Ichimatsu was so agile after being swung around like a bat. He would be the best person to team up with in an apocalypse.

Jyuushimatsu sighs and allows his body to fall from between the chords so he can weave his way out of the mess of rope that he and Icimatsu had just climbed. His older brother is not as eager to escape the rope castle. His voice booms over the playground as he talks down to his younger brother, embracing the persona of 'Ichimatsu-sama'.

"KNEEL BEFORE ME, PEASANTS, FOR YOU ARE NOT AS WORTHY OF MY COMPANY. BOW BEFORE YOUR LORD. ICHIMATSU-SAMA!"

Jyuushimatsu backs away from his imposing brother with an awkward smile, there were only two ways to get Ichimatsu out of this state that were possible at this time – presenting him with a cat, or getting him drunk. And it would probably be easier for him to get drunk than find a cat in a public space like a park.

Jyuushimatsu leaves the park, striding with his knees up until he reaches a nearby convenience store. Aware that his brother is a complete and total lightweight, he only purchases one bottle of beer, ripping the label off once he's left the store. He opens it as he heads back to the park, where wary parents are escorting their children from with great haste. Clearly Ichimatsu-sama has gotten more vulgar in the ten minutes it took for Jyuushimatsu to acquire some alcohol to force down his brother's throat.

"Oi! Ichimatsu-sama! I got you a drink!" Jyuushimatsu chimes, voice coated with sweet malice.

The Matsuno in purple eagerly leaps down from his perch and drains the beer like tap water, only noticing what he had just downed after he had finished. He topples over, resting his body weight on Jyuushimatsu.

"Come on Tipsymatsu! Let's do something else fun!" Jyuushimatsu eagerly leads Ichimatsu to the money bars and starts to do pull ups on them. Meanwhile, somehow, Ichimatsu had made his way up so he can stand atop of the money bars, legs shoulder width apart while his younger brother builds his muscle. His intoxication is beginning to kick in now, eyes glassier and cheeks reddening. The Matsunos gain from the intoxication of Ichimatsu is a sudden change in demeanour and personality. He has to be drunk to be outgoing and just outright weird – weirder in a more Jyuushimatsu way at least.

Standing on the monkey bars as the morning shifts into afternoon, Ichimatsu begins to hum a song. An English song that Todomatsu had played a few times and Jyuushimatsu openly took a liking to.

"Hope that you fall in love, and it hurts so bad! The only way you can know, you give it all you have!"

"And I hope that you don't suffer, but take the pain!" Jyuushimatsu sings along while hoisting his body up and down on the monkey bars.

"Hope when the moment comes,"

"You'll say"

"I~!" both of the Matsuno brothers begin to warble from where they are on the monkey bars as girls watch them amused, "I did it all~! I~! I did it all|~"

The brothers ended up calling their day out together quits after the pull ups because Ichimatsu was feeling ill, however they did continue to sing that one song by One Republic until they made it back to the
