The hc is, Edgy and Poppy was the one who was stuck in the time loop but only Edge remembers it. I forgot why tho.. oof--. Poppy in the other hand doesn't remembers it. So that's why Edge would freak out if he saw a cat passing by. Especially if it's a black cat. Noone knows about the time loop except for Edgy boi.

(Cha know there's a superstition here that believe black cats is a sign of bad lucc.)
