In the city, a black car drove on the high way, going the normal public transport speed "I need to be at the embassy assap" the man in the back seat stated

"I should have you there in twenty minutes sir" the driver spoke, he tried to slow down but the break wasn't responding "The breaks not, What?"

"What's going?" The man in the back grew concerned, his eyes widened when he saw he wasn't paying attention "Driver you keep your eyes on the damn road!"

But it was too late, the driver had hit the wall, breaking through, and the car plummeting onto the street below, blowing up, rendering the two dead

He said holding his hand out

"I...!...eh...But you were just!" The man grew stressed grabbing his face"He set me up!" He exclaimed

The man that drove off, ripped of the mask, revealing to be a light blond man, he then tossed the mask in the back set, pulled out some glasses and put them on, then fixed his hair

Twilight spits out the coffee onto the newspaper "say what?!" He exclaimed in bewilderment, but hush

Twilight inspected the apartment, jumping from one spot to another as the housing agent talks about the place. "This is one of our single-family apartments. The unit comes furnished, has central heat and air and um...sir?"

"I believe I'll take it," Twilight says with a smile, and the agent lights up at this.

"Excellent, Mr. Forger. Now, if you'd sign these documents..." 

Twilight begins filling it out 'Loid Forger. Occupation: psychiatrist. That's the role I'll be playing. With man with loving family and a happy home...'

"I'm sure you and your family will love it here, so tell me, do you have a boy or a girl?" The man asks curiously. "Ah, guess I'll be deciding on that soon." Loid said, confusing the man

"Huh?"

' it all sounds like a burden for a spy...' he thought

Later that day, Loid knock on the door with cracked glass poorly tapped together, it opens, revealing a man clearly drunk by the redness of his face. " Hmm? So you wanna adopt do ya?" The man rudely asks with a hiccup.

"Indeed I do. I heard your orphanage was looking for family's. You see, my wife and I-"

  "Yeah, yeah. Just grab whichever one you want. Come this way."  The drunk interrupts and leads the spy down the

Loid looked around to see kids staring in awe at him 'What a horrible environment. But a place this shady is more likely to have incomplete records, it'll be easier to come up with a backstory, I'll make this mission work even if it involves a child, I would've preferred to handle it on my own, but no matter how skilled I may be, disguising myself as a child is out of my range'

In a room, a young girl sitting in someone's lap reached out for a stuffed chimera but flinches at the word she heard through thought, Another hand then reached it and handed the plush to her

Loid stops and speaks up. "I should mention, I'd like a child who can read and write if that's possible." The drunkerd turns to Loid

"Yeah? I gotcha ..." He hums

Loid was then brought before three kids, two that looked like they were in they're 15s, And a younger one in the older girls lap

" anya, Lena and Thomas are the smartest ones we got, Thomas and Lena help teach the kids, anya doesn't talk but she sticks two these two like glue, she's an good kid...they practically act like siblings"

' I'd love to get rid of these weird three
creepy little brats out of my hair once and for all' anya heard his thought

" come on you three! Say hi" he gestured for them to step forward

" Uh...excuse me" Loid says as Anya got off Lena while Thomas got up, holding lena's hand and pulling her up, but still holding her hand as anya does her

He takes note of the three ' Eden college only excepts students six and up, the little girl looks no older than four or five. I wonder of the other two are fifth teen or sixteen' he thinks

"Six!" Anya replied surprising the spy, and making the other two look at her " I'm six!"

" your six years old?" The drunken mocked 

" we're fifteen..." the girl replied while shlyly hiding behind her brother who stayed silent

The man went back to observing anya
'She's quite small for that age' Anya stood on her tip toes to make herself look taller, he observed as the little one let go of the tall girls hand and went to the table, showing him the news paper

' a news paper?' She showed it then went to the table to write on it 'Huh, But a crossword puzzle would be too difficult for a child' he then went over to observe 'Of course for me it's like child's play, One down is homoeostasis, one across is casual closure, the one below that is

"What?" Twilight looked at him like he was kidding "If you try and take one of them, they're not gonna leave, it's either all three or forget it" he muttered

'Well that's troubling...' he then observed how they interacted with each other, anya clenching Lena who hugged her and Thomas who pat the littlest head ' however...The mission never says I can only bring one child. Maybe the other two can be a help as well. Getting three in would be a big help'

He then turned back to the man "Alright I'll take the other two as well" much to the kids surprise, but Thomas looked suspicious, anya went and quickly dragged her plush "About the paper work"

"Don't sweat it" the man waved off "Just take them home already!"

'As a spy getting that part of the mission So easily worries me' the spy then turned to the three standing next to each other "So is this okay with you three?" He asked

'A Spy? On a mission? So cool!' Anya stared in awe and excitement and nodded to his question 

"Yes..." Lena replied

"Hmm" Thomas nodded blankly, it was time to leave and The three wave goodbye to the other kids 

This little girl is a telepath, The elder girl is a telekinetic, And the brother is super strong, Test Projects 007, 008 and 009, They're posses the abilities to read minds, move objects and people, and have the immense strength to move anything the human body withstand, These gifts were accidentally created in a experiment by a certain organisation, Since fleeing together they been without a place to truly call home

The four soon stand on the steps that lead into the apartment building "Listen you three.." he spoke, each replying by saying they're names

"Listen, anya, Lena and Thomas, Standing today you will be my children but if anyone asks, you've always been my children

"Yep" the littlest and elder girl replied, Thomas just nodded nonchalantly "Uh huh"

"So please make sure you address me as father" he stated

"Papa" Anya replied as both Lena said, however Thomas just nods once again "Father../...."

"Close enough"

Entering g the building, they bumped into an old woman at the stairs "Hello there, aren't you three the most precious little things!"

" h-hello ma'am..." Lena greeted shyly "We're the forgers and we just moved in" loid said, lifting his hat

" hello" Thomas said

"I'm anya, I've always been papas daughter" anya said with confused the old woman "Oh, you are?"

As Thomas facepalmed mentally 'Didn't need to say that' he and loid thought the same thing

"Come on" loid said to the kids, and grabbed the door handle "Let's go inside" he opened the door and turned the lights on, anya dragging Lena in while Thomas slowly walked behind them, taking in they're surroundings "This is our house now?!" She asked excited

"It is" loid says as he walked in closing the door and anya pulled Lena to the television "A tv!" She squealed

"You can turn it on" loid says talking off one of his gloves, anya placed her plush on the shelf and turned the tv on, revealing the title of a show called spy wars "We really like this show!" She then say in lena's lap, who was happy to let her and watch as Thomas just watched still standing

'Coincidence?' Loid wondered looking at the main character as anya watched in awe "A pistol with a silencer Huh?" The man on tv said

"So cool!" Anya cheered

'I'll secure everything we need
Which includes a forged id for the three of them' he then turned for the door "I'm stepping out for a bit, Just sit tight and watch the show"

They looked, anya gets out of lena's lap, much for the girls panic and ran to the spy, latching onto his leg "An adventure!"

"It's not an adventure! It's a shopping trip!" Loid tried to shake her off "Anya! No!" Lena exclaimed, meanwhile Thomas watched unamused

In the end he was forced to take her, along with the other two, on the street, they walked until anya came to a halt to talk to the spy "Papa! I want a pistol with a silencer!" She tells him

"Sure if they're one on sale" he said 'To be a master spy, one must act normally and not draw any Attention, Today we're a regular inconspicuous family'

He was then brought out of his thoughts when he heard and saw anya stuck in the crowd entering and exiting the bus "Papa! Sissy! Big bro! Please save me!" she cried

'That's not inconspicuous!' Loid began rubbing but Thomas had already beaten
him to her, as the woman who helped anya  placed her down in the open

"Anya!" Lena exclaimed

"Aww sweetie, Make sure you've got a good hold on your daddy or siblings hand okay?" She then Got on the bus, anya holds Loids hand as they continued walking 'Having one hand tied up with Make it tough to counter an enemy ambush, But I can manage' anya read his thoughts and her eyes went wide 'An enemy?!'

"Anya?" Lena asked as the three watched her leg go of loids hand, looked for a place to hide, then hid behind a sign, her siblings kneeled down to her as she held her head "What are you doing?" Thomas asked

"I'm hiding!" She whispered

'Did I do something to make her hide from Me?' Loid wondered 'Maybe I held her hand to early? Does she hate me? This is bad' he watched the two worry over they're sister, who was secretly looking at him as she read his mind 'I need to maintain a good relationship with her and the other two until the missions over, Basic diplomacy dictates that I know more about them, Understanding the other party is the first step towards peace'

'Understanding me, sissy and big bro means we'll have World peace?!' Anya went wide eyed, then crawled out of her hiding place

And began saying things she likes "Umm I really like to eat peanuts, But carrots are gross ohh! Bacon from bakenry" she points to towards a sign that said bakery

Thomas deadpanned and Lena smile sheepishly "Eh..that's A bakery...They don't sell bacon anya" he revealed making her turn red embarrassed

Anya is then seen grabbing a Spy Wars poster. "I'd like this, please." She says, holding up a coin to the man selling it.

"Thay costs a dalc. ten-pent coin isn't enough." Loid says as he hands the money, anya watched embarrassed yet again, the spy pondered watching the littlest one 'Maybe the crossword puzzle was a flux, She honestly doesn't seem all that bright I wonder if-' Anya panics and starts crying "No papa! Don't leave me!"

"What is wrong with you?!" He exclaimed while the two were in shock, Thomas immediately hugging anya 

"Anya! I'm sure he wasn't gonna please calm down" Lena tried to calm the child down, Loid panics, noticing people around him whispering about him, He drags his hand along his face ' now what?!' Then noticed the glare form the young boy 'And Why does he look like he's gonna punch me in the throat?' before coming up with an idea. "I'll get you peanuts if you stop crying!"

Anya immediately stopped crying and smiled brightly "I love peanuts!"

They began walking back home with groceries, Loid sighs "Papa...I feel so tired I can't walk anymore..." he looked annoyed, but Thomas had already picked her up, keeping Lena close by grabbing her hand, not sparing the man a glance at all, but walked with them

'It's not working...I don't understand why she behaves like this, and The older brother has developed a deep hatred for me already...' loid thought with a tired face

'I think I need some sort of instruction manual' loid first stopped at a library to get some books on parenting then taking the kids home

Loid is then sitting on the couch with the books placed on the table with a cup of tea, he picks on one of them and begins reading

Anya, Lena and Thomas slept in the other room, together away from him

"The key factor in child raising is trust, Rather than scolding them, Look at things from they're perspective, Children have trouble putting how they're feeling into words, Try and understand them" he puts the book down and picked up another "No interrogation tactics?" He wondered "Are all the parents out there always on such difficult missions?" He then read out loud "
Nurture they're self-esteem to give them a better future, By giving them the ability to think for themselves, Theyre lives will..." he stopped and his eyes trailed over to the sleeping children in the other room " Soon as this missions over I'm sending them back to the orphanage, That's how far our future goes"

Next day

"No papa! I don't wanna!" Anya whined "Don't make me study!" Thomas and Lena hadn't woken up yet

"I need to accurately measure your intelligence before you take the entrance exam" he said holding the book "But I don't need to study to take some stupid old test! I'll just read people's-" she stopped herself from saying it out loud 'I'll read they're minds'

"I hope you aren't planning on cheating
Listen if you don't get into this school then-" he stops himself saying it out loud '
My mission fails'

He slams the book on the table, giving a hardened stare as she does him, After a few seconds, he gives up "Okay, I'm stepping out" he puts his jacket on and puts his hat on

She tired to follow but he points at her
"And your staying right here with your siblings, Your not coming with me, Not today" He orders and leaves the place.

As he heads down the stairs, he hears the door being opened, and looked to see the littlest girl peeking out. "Hey!" He shouts and runs back, He pushes the door open to make Anya stumble away. "I said stay put!"

After a bit, he points to a green bin where Anya is hiding behind. "I see you! you think you can hide from me!?"

Later, he points to a space under the stairs. "There!" And at the moved ceiling tile by the ladders " there!" Every place he points out

Anya smile happy 'Papa is so good at hide and seek! This is fun!'

"Haha! Try and get out of that!"

The other two woke up and walked out of the room to inspect what the heck was going on " what's going on?" Lena asked

Thomas looked to the door to see anya pulling at the door "Anya? What are you doing?"

"Big bro! Help me" she pleaded " papa put a big box in front of the door outside!"

He gave her a look " were you trying to follow him?" He questioned Making her flinch

Franky looked at the spy with a unamused expression on his face "Wow...That's why your late?" In Loids memory he had placed a barracks in front of the door so anya couldn't get out "I ended up putting a barricade in front of the door and trapping her inside" he said

"Hopefully you won't get busted for child abuse" franky said as loid set his hat down "How can anyone know what children are thinking?" He asked "Thankfully the other two are more calm, but the brother of the two really hates me..."

"I thought you were only supposed to get one" franky pointed out "I had to bring the other two otherwise she wouldn't have come" loid sighed "And the whole tactic of crying until they get they're way is maddening" he said arms crossed

"I hate to break it to ya pal but it's like they're job" franky stated "Any who here's what you wanted" he then placed three letter cream coloured letters on the counter "an application exam appointment for three, and a copy of the test" loid picks them up and puts them in his pocket "I went through hell getting these"

"I appreciate it franky, If she can memorise the answers we have a real shot at passing"

"Got some intel on the kids" franky then pulled out a piece of folded paper "dug up some records, Stuff the orphanage didn't Have" he handed it to loud who read in silence "Not a thing about either of they're births through, Or they're real ages or parents either, it's strictly from the last year, it Said they've been adopted and returned Four times now, they're on they're third orphanage"

"Anya, Lena and Thomas....Williams, levski, Roche" loid read out they're first names then the last names that had gotten and changed

"Changes names like you" franky remarked smirking "You guys are a perfect match" he then stopped when he saw the threatening glacé loid gave "Relax I'm just kidding, Focus on your mission"

"They maybe cute kids but watch that you don't get attached to them you know" loid puts the paper with the letters then puts his hat back on "Your concerns is touching" he then walked away

"Wha?! Hey!" Franky exclaimed since he didn't get his money "Stiffed me" he groaned "Forget kids who knows what spy's are thinking"

Back home

Anya was lying on the couch In a starfish position, Thomas and Lena were studying, they tried to get Anya to do it with her, but she refused

'This is boring, I thought spies were a lot cooler....' she looked at her poster hanging over the telephone 'Like we'd be looking for bombs and stuff...'

However she remembered what loid had thought before when he was cooking for them, listening to his thoughts 'I can't have her messing with my spy equipment, So I'll have to lock it all up' she poked her head from the other side of the couch 'the code is 610...' she smirked

Later

Without her siblings knowing, she is seen going through his stuff singing a little tune

"Bomby-bombs! Bomby-bombs!" She takes out one piece of equipment, inspects it, tosses it aside, and repeats until her eyes land on a suitcase, and opens to find something she was excited about "Ahh! A spy radio!" And starts pushing buttons "Sending secret messages!"

Over at a building

a worker calls out to edger, the man twilight previously stole the photos from "Boss! We've intercepted a secret transmission."

" using the West's cipher?" Edger questioned

"No doesn't seem to be" he then picked up on something " Wait it saying this is twilight here....Hang on twilight?!
This is the frequency westen intelligence uses...Oh, there's more. Catch me if you can."

The boss's face goes red with frustration, grinding his teeth together. "Get a location on the source stat!" He demands.

Anya shuts the suitcase, wiping her forehead, letting out a whew.

She looks behind her to see the mess she created.

Her mind races and she thinks about how her dad will react by pulling out a gun and saying,

"Now you know im a spy I have to make you disappear."  Anya yelled in fear, Thomas happened to be walking by to the bathroom and saw the mess she had created " anya! What have you done?!"

" help me big bro!" In hurriedly, he puts the equipment back where Anya found them, She sighs In relief and hugs her brother  " thank you big bro...."

"Anya?" He feels her shaking "If he finds out I do telepathy, and sissy can make things fly, and you rlly strong...He'll make us leave..."

He just frowned, hugging her close, Lena was in the doorway sad after hearing what anya said, thinking back to when they were at the lab

"Anya, Lena, Thomas, You can't tell anyone about your power remember" behind them were three doctors "It's time for you all to study again"

"Aww but I wanna draw with sissy and big bro" anya said

"Don't concern yourself with childish things" the doctors scowled at her "We need to figure out how to use your special power for world peace" Thomas glared daggers at them for making his sister cry, and Lena held her right compressing her own tears "There no time for tears, Playtimes over and you need to study"

Thomas held anya closer ' I hate adults...they don't care they just wanna use us!' Tears threaten to leave his eyes 'Ill never trust any adults again! I'll never let them hurt anya and Lena ever again!'

Loid finally arrives at the apartment and walks up the stairs holding a grocerybag ' I hope anya hasn't trashed the apartment' he then arrives at the door which still had the barricade "Oh yeah gotta move this, Hmm?" He then took notice of the scrap makes on the ground and narrowed his eyes

He walked in, it was dark, someone was hiding behind the couch

As loid walked in, A rugged man pops from behind the door and swings a pipe at Loid's face, Loid swiftly ducked, his hat is the only thing the pipe hit, Loid then serves a swift uppercut on the chin.

The Another man comes out from behind the couch, aiming a gun and shot,
Loid holds the paper bag in front of him and the cans in there protect him from the being shot, He tosses a can of tuna to the shooter, and it hits him square in the face.

As the man beds in pain, Loid runs around the man and slams the dinner table down onto the shooter, knocking him out "Who The hell are these guys?!"

Loid tossed the chair inside and went to find the kids "Anya! Lena! Thomas!" He opened all the doors still yelling they're names "Kids!" He then Entered his room and found anya's toy on the floor

'Kidnapped' he glared at the unconscious men 'Who sent these thugs here?!..and why?!...I gotta find them!....'he grit his teeth, then Calmed himself down 'Okay calm down Obviously this locations been compromised So first of I need to secure somewhere safe' he walked in 'As for them....there are lots of other children out there....' he leaned down 'Just gotta start over from square one' Loid goes to pick up the stuffed animal, not aware that the man with the pipe and swinging down on him

Inside a shopping trolly sat the kids, tied up with tape over they're mouths
Clearly scared out of they're minds

"Who the hell is these brats anyway?" The boss demanded.  " twilights kids or something?"

" no clue" one of the men replied " they're were where that message came from so we nabbed them"

'Cause of the secret message...' anya gasped  "They was holed up the apartment with a barricade out front." The other one adds.

" do you know Why?" The boss asks with furrowed brows. "Beats me." The kidnapper shrugs, The boss gives a side glance to them

"No matter, I think they might still prove useful to us as hostages We can force twilight to steal the foreign ministers toupee right off his head."

Another thug speaks up. "Boss, Maybe we should ditch the whole toupee thing."  The boss briskly takes out a gun and shoots the man right in the head, shocking his men "Transparency is essential in government, Since toupee are no go.." The boss says with no remorse. 

'A pistol with a silencer...' Anya stared with the other two in terror 'A pistol with a silencer...'

"Plus the ministers a traitor who's been secretly backing the west" The boss lowered the gun, further stating as he lights up a cigarette "And anyone who takes a traitors side must be a traitor too."

'He's gotta be a real bad guy!...' Outside a car arrives, And one of the gangsters notice "Boss looks like Nguyen And his crew are back from the apartment!"

The man walked in carrying a person over his shoulder with a bag over his head "We got him" and placed him down in the centre of the gang and boss

"Nicely done" the boss walked up to the person squirming, the man backs up clenching his throat "This dude sure as hell moves like a pro, He's the real deal" he grunted

"Get yourself together man" one of the guys said, not noticing anya scared anymore, and the other two looking at the suspiciously

The boss kneeled down smirking at the person on the floor tied up " Now that I have your attention twilight, Why don't you return those photographs you stole from me" he reached and pulled the bag off his head, revealing the same guy that brought him here gaged "Nguyen?!" They exclaimed

"What's going on?!" One of the guys looked back to find the imposter and children gone "The kids are gone!"

"He got me again!" The boss roar echoed through the building

Meanwhile

The imposter shut the door and bolts, the older kids running behind them, he held anya tightly. 

'This was a mistake! Going into enemy territory put the mission in jeopardy!' Anya gasped hearing his thoughts, realising who he really was 'I'm not fit to be a spy..'

'Papa!'

She starts bawling her eyes out making the three panic at how loud she was crying  Shut up kid, I'm not gonna hurt you, you don't have to be scared!..." the 'man' assured, but she still cried pressing her head against his chest "Papa!"

The other two perked up at what she said and looked at the man in shock while he didn't notice ' it's him?...'

'This is why kids suck...Yeah...I guess I know why the sound of them crying gets my blood run cold' he pressed his hand against her back, in a comforting sort of way 'Cause it reminds me of my own rotten childhood....' remembering when he was a kid, his town destroyed, crying his eyes out, all alone 'not a single person out there ever tried to save me, I was completely alone...Powerless in the world...Only thing I could do was cry...'

He stood with them at the entrance 'I thought I had left all that baggage behind me, But you can't do that forever Somethings gonna trigger those memories' he walked out of the building, handing anya to Thomas then talking to them "Now listen here kids" he said reaching inside his jacket for a pen and paper, each of them revealing they're names

"Anya"

"Lena"

"...thomas"

He wrote on the paper as he spoke" listen anya, Lena, Thomas, Me and my pals there We're all pro tag players, When we see someone who looks like they can play
We challenge them to a game" he lied holding the folded piece of paper in his hand

"Oh..." the other two replied, Thomas however was still suspicious of this guy
'Papa is a liar' Anya thought

"Look" he points the pen in a direction for them to go in "if you start heading straight down this street and turn right you'll find the police station" he then hands the paper to Thomas, who slowly takes it "If you can hand this paper over to the police officer, You win the game, You got that?"

Accidentally anya was holding Thomas , making him hear Loids thoughts 'If he shows them this they'll put them in a better orphanage' Thomas's eyes widened as he took the paper, then looked at the 'man' 'I can't have kids mixed up In this mission, Gotta rework the whole plan'

"Huh?....But..." Thomas tried to say something, but the 'man' pointed in the direction for them to go "Okay now run, and don't loose your sisters!" Thomas grabbed Lena's before she can protest, quickly running to get them away from the building, he still heard Loids thoughts 'I'm not cut out to be a spy?...No I just should've never put these kids in danger' Thomas and the kids stop to look back, as loid turned in the opposite direction, ripping the mask off his face !How could I forget im working to create the kind of world, where kids won't have to cry like that, That's why I'm a spy...' they're eyes widened in shock/ one in awe

Anya noticed her brothers expression along with Lena "Big bro?"

" what's wrong?" Lena asked

"He's....not like the rest" he murmured

Back inside

Back in the building the gangsters burst into the room loid ran into " don't let him get away!"

" we're gonna drag out of here and show his face to the whole-" the mans speech was cut off when someones foot gets caught on a tripwire, causing Bags of flour above open up and spill over the confused men. " A trap?! When did he-?" One of them coughed, The men soon get attacked in the clouded area.

The men look frantically to try to see where he is.

One man pulls out his gun " that twilight?!" but his friend shout, "Don't shoot! It'll blow!" More men get struck down as the boss edger keeps his gun pointed. 

When the flour settles down, the boss growls as he sees all his men are down. "What in the...You're kidding me."   Before he can take a step forward, felt something pressed hard on his head and he knows it's a gun, making him slowly raise his hands in a surrender fashion.

"Turn around and your dead." Loid says coldly.

The boss moves his eyes to the side as he mutters in anger  "Twilight..."  Loid moves the gun away, making the boss flinch. "Good day, or perhaps, good evening, Edgar. Tell me, How's Karen doing?"  Edgar is taken aback by this.

"How do you know my daughter's name?" He asks with fear laced in his tone. "It's my job, that's what spy's do, I know her height, weight, shoe size, favorite foods, and the location of every moles on her body. Shes got nothing on your rap sheet but i know all the times broken the law" Loid says which gets Edgar mad

"That's Absurd! My Karen would-" 

"Edgar." Loid warns, interrupting "I also know how much you care about your daughter. So, listen. If you want your precious girl have any kind of a normal life. You'll leave me the hell alone!." Loid then shoots away the gun that Edgar dropped by his feet.

"If you want that, go home now."

Time skip

After the commotion, loid now wearing casual clothes walking down the same street he told the kids to run down, After walking, his eyes widen when he saw Them crouched down, anya playing with ants while the other two seemed to be waiting "Anya? Lena? Thomas?" They perk up at they're names being called and saw him

"Papa!" Anya and Lena ran up and hugged him, catching him off guard while Thomas slowly walked over "Your still here- I mean what are you doing outside of the house?" He questioned, acting surprised to see them, then pointing to the building behind him "I eh just came down here to do a little shopping, But I guess they're all out of business"

'Papa is a big time liar' anya lifted her head up "We were just out playing tag with some old guys" she lied, to what he said as the other guy in disguise earlier

"Oh Did you guys have fun?" He asked them, Lena answered hiding her face "It was kinda Scary...." she mumbled, he then noticed the boys expression

Like this but, small tears

" Thomas?" He just walked toward and joined in with the Hug, catching the man by surprise " I wanna go home...Back to our place...dad..." his eyes widened, this was first time he referee to him as dad

"Please..." the other two joined in with him "You do? Your sure?" Loid asked them "If you leave us behind we're gonna cry" Anya says

Loid then thinks back to what franky said about them

"They've been adopted and returned four times now.."

'Williams, levski, Roche...' he pats them individually on the head "Okay well let's go home then" they were shocked but were happy, they sit close to they're 'father' on the bus ride home "But we should move out of that dangerous apartment, I actually saw a venomous snack there" he lied

"I don't like snakes" anya said smiling "
Me either" Lena adds in "Who does?" Thomas shuddered at the thought of them

'Papa might be the worlds biggest liar
But he's a cool liar' Anya smiled looking out the window "I wanna live in a castle!"

"Sure if they're a one to rent" loid said "
"Once we're there you gotta study"

"Ahh!" She exclaimed, While Thomas snickered and Lena laughed at her expression "As long as you memorise all of the answers you'll be fine, Easy enough"

Next day

Anya sat in a different hall from her siblings, with kids her age, they were separated by age "Alright children, Begin" the man announced

Loid sits with the other parents, waiting for the exam to end 'I'm counting on you kids,
You've got this'

After a few minutes looked up as he saw Lena and Thomas coming back "What are you doing here?" He asked shocked by they're sudden appearance "Did they kick you two out?"

Lena shakes her head while Thomas answered "No we finished and they said we could leave" he replied

"Already?" Loid questioned surprise

Meanwhile

Anya began listening to the thoughts of the kids around her and was shocked by what she heard, the kids on her left

'This is so hard!...'

'I don't know any of these answers!...'

On her right, one girl was trying to guess
'Eh enny meenie miney mo....'

She looked down at her question sheet, in horror, but then thought back to when loid and her siblings helped her with studying, then began filling her sheet carefully

After anya's exam finished, the four to the board went outside to see if they're had made it in or not "K-212, K-213, K-214" loid mumbled as he looked for the numbers, until he finally came across them "They're there!" He smiled, making the kids happily excited "You three past!! Wayda go!" He ruffles Thomas's hair, making him laugh, hugged Lena and picked up anya "We did good!"

"You did really good!" He smiled " you-" he suddenly he lost his balanced and fall from the grass making the other two panic

"Oh no!"

"papa!"

"Dad!..."

'I relaxed for a second and all my exhaustion hit at once...' he looked like he was dying from lack of sleep

"Don't leave us!" anya cried

'I relaxed? How did that even happen?' Loid was confused, but mostly tired 'What's the heck's wrong with me?....'

"Don't die old man!" Thomas yelled

"Wake up please!" Lena exclaimed

Back at the apartment

The kids had managed to get him home, they're new home and layed him to rest on the couch, he still looked half dead "Well he's dead..." anya said with tears in her eyes

"He's fine " Thomas assured "He's just tired" Just then the doorbell rang and the sound off the mailman's voice could be heard "Got some Mail for you!"

"I got it" Thomas went over and opened the door, greeted by the mailman "Forger household?" He asked

"Yes" Thomas replied "Can you give this to your mum or dad?" He asked holding the letter to him, anya pokes her head From behind her brother " There is no momma" she said "Oh" the mans eyes widened "I mean sorry" he apologised

Anya rushed over, holding the letter with Thomas following behind "Papa the mail man brought this for you!"

Lena held a forger to her lips, implying her to keep quiet "Shh he's asleep anya"

The kids started to feel the sleep take over, the two fell asleep, on the floor leaning against the couch, while anya climbed onto the couch and cuddled up next to loid

After some time he reawakened "Ahh!
"What are you doing?! Are you trying to kill me?!" He exclaimed at the little girl, waking the other two up

"Old man" Thomas grumbled "You collapsed So We brought you back home to rest" he then let out a yawn as Lena rubbed her eyes "Jeez..."

Loid pressed his hand against his face 'Can't believe I fell asleep in front of them...That's unexplainable...I gotta get a grip' Anya got back up and held out the letter "There's mail" she handed it to him

He opened it and began reading "A letter from Eden college...Eh..." he then cringed at what he saw "Is something wrong?" The kids asked

"The second phase of the admission process is a family interview, It is mandatory the applicants attend with both parents, Absolutely no exceptions..." he stated, They're eyes widened in realisation

"But...there is no momma!...." anya exclaimed
