"A resort!" Anya shouts as she runs onto the island, jumping up in the air as she lands, "a super landing!". 

"Stop jumping. You'll trip and fall" Loid says as he walks past Anya. 

I'm glad all these State Security Service officers are keeping an eye out for the bomber. But I keep feeling like I'm being stared at, and it's insanely distracting. 

Loid says as he shuts his eyes. 

"Papa" Anya says from behind Loid, "I've heard that at times like this, normal papas would also jump and play and have fun with their daughters". 

"Let's go enjoy this resort to its fullest!" Loid says as he starts to skip along with Anya, only to see Yor waiting for them at the port, "Yor-san?!". 

"Mama!" Anya says happily as she runs over. 

"You got our message?" Loid asks shocked. 

"Yes" Yor says with a smile, "I was given the day off today". 

"Your face seems a little swollen" Loid says as he notices the slight puff to Yor's right cheek. 

"Huh?" Yor says as she touches her cheek, "oh, um... the couple we were entertaining got into an argument... and when I got between them to stop them, uh...". 

"I see" Loid says calmly, "so then the deal...". 

"Yes, it fell through" Yor says as she looks down, "but we did everything we could. And in the end, the couple was smiling. So I'm happy with the results!". 

"I see" Loid says with a smile. 

"Can Mama play too?" Anya asks as she looks up at Yor. 

"Yes! Let's make sure to play lots!" Yor says as she looks down at Anya. 

"Let's enjoy!" Anya says as she puts her fist up in the air. 

"Enjoy we shall!" Yor says as she copes Anya. 

"Sis!" Yuri calls from behind Loid as he and Anya turn around to see Yuri and Isabelle coming over. 

"Isabelle!" Anya says happily as she runs to Isabelle, Isabelle picking her up, "happy birthday!". 

"Thank you, Anya" Isabelle says as she rubs her cheek against Anya's. 

"Isabelle, Yuri. Glad to have you join us" Loid says as Isabelle and Yuri walk over to them. 

"Thanks for the invite" Isabelle says as she puts Anya down. 

"Happy birthday, Isabelle. Did you have a good evening last night?" Yor asks as Anya runs back over to her. 

"It was good. We watched the fireworks, had a meal, and then retired back to the room" Yuri says happily. 

"Shall we start our day, then?" Loid asks as he holds his arm out to Yor. 

"We shall" Yor says as she links arms with Loid. 

Loid and Yor link arms, Anya holding Yor's hand as Isabelle and Yuri walk behind them, holding hands, but ready to separate if Loid, Yor, or Anya were to turn around. Anya runs around after a car as Loid reprimands her, Isabelle giggling as she covers her mouth. They do lots of different things: they go to a café; they go ziplining in a nearby park; they go cycling in the park as well; other things like cave hunting, hiking, rock-climbing; horse-riding; and having a picnic in the park. 

"Wah! They all look like Bond!" Anya says as she runs over to the sheep at the petting zoo. 

"Everything's so peaceful here. It's nice!" Yor says happily. 

"Indeed" Loid says as he looks at Yor. 

"Yuri, come here. Take a picture!" Isabelle says as she brings out her camera. 

"Okay" Yuri says with a smile as he walks over to Isabelle. 

Though being on that ship was rather ominous. 

Loid says as he remembers the strong smell of blood that was in the air that night. 

"I hope that peaceful days like this will last forever" Yor says as she watches Yuri and Isabelle take photos of each other, Anya playing with the sheep as they bite the little horn clips on her hair. 

They soon finish up at the petting zoo and they make their way to the waterfront. 

"Papa! Mama! Unkie! Izzie!" Anya says as she points to a sign, "I wanna do the thing where you look at the fishes in the ocean!". 

"Huh?! You have to wear a swimsuit for this, don't you?" Yor says as she looks at Isabelle who nods. 

Oh no... if they see the wound on my chest, I won't be able to talk myself out of it. 

Yor says as Anya reads her mind. 

"Actually, we might get eaten by sharks, so never mind" Anya says as she folds her arms. 

"Huh?! But..." Yor says panicked as she realises the photos of the people doing the snorkelling have the people wearing full wetsuits, "let's give it a try, Miss Anya! Don't worry. There are no sharks". 

The five of them sign themselves up and they rent swimsuits for the day. They get on the boat and go out to the reef, getting into the water as they follow the guide to where all of the sea life is. The five of them enjoy the snorkelling, Anya trying to catch the fish as they quickly move away from her. After the snorkelling, the five of them decide to try surfing. 

"Here comes a great wave, Miss Anya!" Yor says excitedly as Anya lies down on her stomach on the board, Yor getting ready to push her. 

Yor pushes Anya, using far too much strength as Anya surfs along the wave, going upwards as she accidently lets go of the board. 

"Anya!" Isabelle says worriedly. 

Loid comes through the surf, grabbing Anya and her board as he falls into the water, getting Anya back down in the water. 

"Mama, that was too fast" Anya says as she coughs up some water. 

"I'm so sorry, Miss Anya" Yor says as she covers her face. 

"Isabelle, you have a go!" Yuri says as he looks at Isabelle. 

"Okay" Isabelle says as Isabelle climbs on the board. 

A wave comes and Isabelle struggles to balance herself as she falls into the water, Yuri catching her. Yuri and Isabelle laugh with each other Anya laughs as well, Loid and Yor finding it entertaining, too. They return their wetsuits and get changed back into their normal clothes. 

"We played lots!" Anya says as she skips down the street. 

"We sure did!" Yor says as she looks at Anya. 

"It's about time. We should head back to the ship" Loid says as he looks at his watch. 

"You're right" Yor says with a smile. 

Oh... I've been fighting without any rest or sleep, so I'm suddenly very sleepy. 

Yor says as she falls asleep, resting her head on Loid's shoulder.

"Yor!" Loid says as he puts his arm around her. 

"Sis" Yuri says worriedly. 

Loid picks Yor up without hesitation as he carries her. 

"Papa... Anya's sleep, too" Anya complains as she looks up at Loid. 

Loid sighs as he picks Anya up too. Yuri looks over at Isabelle who looks like she's about to pass out as well. Yuri kneels down in front of Isabelle without saying anything as Isabelle gets on Yuri's back. Yuri stands up straight as Isabelle rests her head on Yuri's shoulder as he falls asleep. Yuri and Loid's walk back to the ship is silent, so is their farewell to each other as they go back to their cabins. 

It's later in the evening and Anya and Loid have just walked Yor back to her cabin. 

"Anya, go get ready for bed. I'm just going to stay out here and get some fresh air for a moment" Loid says as he opens the door to the cabin for Anya. 

"Okay, Papa" Anya says as she goes into the room, Loid shutting the door. 

Loid takes something out of his pocket as he unwraps it, revealing a floating lantern. He takes a lighter out of his pocket, lighting the candle in the lantern as he lets go of it, allowing it to fly into the sky. 

"Happy Birthday, Ophelia" Loid says as he watches the lantern disappear into the sun of the sunset. 

--- the next day, in the evening ---

"This incident on the Lorelei... though it hasn't been announced publicly, apparently, a lot of passengers went missing" Handler says as she looks at Loid, "all of them had forged IDs. I did indeed see a number of suspicious looking characters. If any are involved with the instigating conflict between the East and West, we should look into them". 

"Apparently the other State Security Service thinks there's another country involved in this" Handler says as she looks at the paperwork in front of her, "I'm sure they're going to erase any trace of this incident happening, though. We'll just keep our eye out for any extremists in Ostania on our end. This would involve Strix. I'm counting on you". 

"Understood" Loid says with a nod. 

"Also, I know you reported not finding any traces of Isabelle while on the trip, but we've got some leads here" Handler says as she passes him a bunch of paperwork, "judging from what forensics have given us, it's a young girl around the age of 18-20. So, judging from this, the people we're looking at are from Eden College". 

"Eden?" Loid says as he looks through the list of people, "Isabelle's on here?". 

"Of course. She's from Eden" Handler says as she looks at Loid, "don't tell me you're getting feelings for the people involved in Operation Strix, Twilight?". 

"No, of course not. I just doubt she has the capability to pull something like this off" Loid says as he puts Isabelle's sheet to the back of her pile. 

"Keep her in mind" Handler says as she raises her brow, "she's not innocent. No one is".
