Loid puts his up as the dog bites down on him, Loid pulling the jacket off of the dog as he throws it behind them, landing on the ground as the dog continues to bite his arm.

"Its teeth are in him?! This is it!" Keith says as he pulls up at the top end of the alleyway, pressing the button to detonate the bomb.

Isabelle and Anya run past the river as the bomb goes off on the jacket which landed in the river just next to them. The dog scares as he runs off with Anya, Isabelle getting splashed with the large amount of water from the river. Isabelle stands there, completely soaked as she watches the dog run off with Anya.

"What?!" Keith asks shocked as he spots Isabelle at the end of the alleyway, "that bitch from earlier! The one who killed the others?!".

"Sorry about this" Loid says as he throws the dog over into a container, shutting the doors, "I'll let you out later, so stay put".

"That geezer actually managed that?! No..." Keith says as he tries to make out Loid's figure through the smoke, still believing Loid is disguised as the minister, "who the hell is that? Why is it someone else? Did I mess up? Damn it!".

Keith reverse the car as he makes off, not long before Isabelle is on the roof of the car, hanging on for dear life.

We've got the number plate. You're not getting away in that car. Your plan is finished.

Loid says he clutches his arm where he had the padding on so the dog bite didn't rip his skin. Yor continues for the streets, running around, looking out for Anya when she sees a car speeding down the road, Isabelle on top of it.

"What the hell is she doing?" Yor asks as she watches the car turn right, "never mind. I need to find Anya! Miss Anya!".

Isabelle spots a bridge up ahead as she jumps off the roof of the car, flipping over the bridge as she lands on the other side. She sticks out her hand as the car stops at her hand, flipping over her as it lands on the other side of her. Keith manages to come out of the car, getting up as he spots Isabelle.

"What did you do to the others?" Keith asks as he stands up.

"I killed them. Just like I will with you" Isabelle says as she watches him.

"Not if I get the pleasure of killing you first" Keith says as he runs at her with a knife.

"I told you your stupid knives aren't going to do anything" Isabelle says as she whips her head to the side, snapping the blade in half.

Keith growls as he pulls out a gun, pointing it at Isabelle. Just then, someone runs out in front of Isabelle, holding onto her as Keith shoots. Isabelle gasps as she looks up at the person, realising it's Yuri.

"Yuri!" Isabelle says as Yuri holds her behind him.

"Are you okay?" Yuri asks as he glares at Keith.

"I'm okay, but you've been shot" Isabelle says as she looks at the bullet lodged in Yuri's back.

"Who the hell are you?" Keith asks as he looks at Yuri.

"Someone who's gonna bring you in" Yuri says as he takes out some handcuffs.

Suddenly, Keith is pushed back into the wall as he hits his head, passing out. Yuri looks around as Isabelle stands there feigning shock as she knows she was the one who did.

"Let's go" Isabelle says as she grabs Yuri's hand, pulling him away.

"But I'm supposed to bring him in" Yuri says as he looks at Keith.

"Some other poor soul can find him and take him in" Isabelle says as she continues running, just wanting to get away from everything.

After what seems like hours, Yor, Loid and Anya finally all reunite in the middle of four conjoining alleyways.

"What are you two doing here?" Loid asks confused, "I thought you went to the adoption event".

"I came back because you were taking too long on the potty" Anya says as she lies.

"I was worried about Miss Anya, so I followed after her" Yor says, not lying.

"And... who is this dog?" Loid asks as he looks at the white dog.

"Borf!".

Yor explains everything that happened as Loid just stands there trying to understand everything.

"So since all that happened, we didn't exactly have much time to find a pet" Yor says as she finishes.

To think that these two go dragged into the incident, as well.

Loid says as he looks down.

"I'm sorry all of this happened while I was in the bathroom" Loid says as he looks away.

"No, no!" Yor says as she shakes her head, "your stomach ache must have stemmed from the breakfast I made this morning! I'm so sorry!".

"And you..." Loid says as he looks at Anya, "how many times must I tell you not to run off alone because it's dangerous?!".

"I'm sorry" Anya says as she starts to cry.

"So you're not hurt?" Loid says with a sigh.

"Mm, Mister Dog protected me" Anya says with a nod.

So he must be another one of the test subjects from Project Apple. If that's the case, I can't let him run free.

Loid says as he looks over his shoulder at Handler who is hiding around the corner.

"I thank you for saving my daughter" Loid says as he pets the dog.

"Pardon me" Handler says as she walks over to the four of them, "we're from the State Security Service. May we ask you a few questions?".

Loid explains everything Yor told him to Handler, even though she was already caught up.

"I see" Handler says as she folds her arms, "then it's safe to say this dog was also one of the dogs trained by the terrorists. We'll take him in".

"Thank you very much" Loid says with a nod.

"Also, this incident will not be revealed to the public, given the relationship between the East and the West, so I ask that you stay silent about this" Handler explains as Anya starts to understand what's going on, "thank you for your cooperation".

"Now that we've settled things down, why don't we go back to looking for a puppy?" Yor asks as she looks at Loid.

"You're right. Okay, Anya-" Loid says as he looks at Yor.

"No!" Anya shouts, "Anya wants Mister Dog!".

"What are you-?" Loid says confused.

"Anya wants to take care of Mister Dog!" Anya says as she hugs the dog.

"No, that dog belonged to the bad guys" Loid says sternly.

"But he saved Anya!" Anya says as she shakes her head.

"But you're the one who said you wanted a small dog!" Loid says as he does his best to reason with Anya.

"But Anya wants Mister Dog! It's okay that Mister Dog is big!" Anya says as she looks at the dog.

"Stop being difficult!" Loid says as he rolls his eyes.

"If you don't let me have this doggy, I'll go bad and stop going to school!" Anya says as she pulls out her best move yet.

"What?!" Handler says shocked.

"What are you talking about?" Loid asks shocked as Anya starts to cry, "why are you bringing up school now?".

"Miss Anya, it's okay! It's okay, Miss Anya!" Yor says as she tries to calm Anya down.

"No!" Anya says as she stamps her foot.

"Anya!" Loid says shocked by Anya's flip in behaviour.

"Alright, very well" Handler says after observing Anya's actions.

"Hand- ma'am!" Loid says as he looks at Handler.

"Are you sure about this?" Yor asks as she looks at Handler.

"I highly doubt one of these dogs going missing will cause any major issues" Handler says as she looks at the dog, "the terrorists have all been arrested, and the dog didn't actually cause any harm".

"Wait..." Loid says.

"As it stands, Operation Strix is in danger. What else can we do?" Handler whispers to Loid, "he'll be under your supervision. Keep an eye on him. The other dogs we have will be more than enough for our investigation, so this isn't an issue".

"Are you really trying to give me even more work?" Loid asks as he wipes his forehead.

"There were a lot of other Mister Dogs" Anya says worriedly, "are the police officers going to be mean to them?".

"Don't worry your pretty little head" Handler says as she kneels down to Anya, ruffling her hair, "the dogs will be well taken care of. They'll be given soft beds and warm meals. I'm sure these dogs have had very hard lives. So make sure you take really good care of this pup, okay? Let's promise each other".

"Thank you very much, important lady" Anya says as she nods her head.

"She's a good girl" Handler says as she walks past Loid.

"You have no idea what I've been through" Loid says as he rolls his eyes.

"No, I do" Handler says as she stops, "I also had a daughter about her age, once. Thank goodness today ended peacefully".

"You're right" Loid says with a smile.

"For now, we'll be taking the dog for the night to check him over for any illnesses" Handler says as Anya passes her the leash, "if there are no issues, we'll send him to your place in the morning".

"Alright" Loid says happily, "now, shall we head home?".

"Yes. It's been a long day, I'm very exhausted" Yor says as she looks at Loid.

"This field trip doesn't end until we get home" Anya says as she looks at Loid and Yor, "don't let your guard down".

"Did you learn that at school? This isn't a field trip" Loid says as he looks at Anya.

"Don't worry, Miss Anya" Yor says as she holds Anya's hand, "the incident has already been taken care of".

--- in Isabelle's apartment ---

"Come on in" Isabelle says as she opens the door to her apartment.

"Are you sure? Sis is just in the apartment across from you. I don't want her to see me and worry why I'm here" Yuri says as he looks at the apartment entrance.

"I'm here to help you with your bullet wound. If I don't get the bullet out, it could get infected" Isabelle says as she pushes Yuri inside.

"Okay, okay" Yuri says as he walks in willingly, Isabelle turning the lights on, "you have a lovely apartment".

"Thanks" Isabelle says as she takes her coat and shoes off, "if you sit on the sofa, I'll bring over the stuff".

"I can get the bullet out myself" Yuri says as he looks at her.

"Jeez, just accept the help" Isabelle says as she grabs her box of stuff.

Yuri takes off his shirt as Isabelle looks at him.

"Is something wrong?" Yuri asks as Isabelle looks at his arms and the size of them.

"No, absolutely nothing" Isabelle says as she sits down behind him so she can get to his back.

She gets to work, taking out the bullet, cleaning the wound, stitching it up and dressing it.

"That's you sorted" Isabelle says as she shuts the box.

"Thanks" Yuri says as he puts his shirt back on.

"Make sure to dress it every other day and have a shower before you dress it" Isabelle says as she puts the box on the shelf.

She goes on her tiptoes to do it, but slips slightly, buckling on her ankle. Yuri gets up and runs to her, holding her up as the two of them look at each other.

"You have really pretty eyes" Yuri says as he is enchanted by her.

"What?" Isabelle says shocked by Yuri's words.

"What? I didn't say anything" Yuri says as he looks at her.

"You did, you said-" Isabelle says as Yuri grabs a bread roll from the counter, putting it in Isabelle's mouth.

"Well, thanks for helping me. I'll see you later" Yuri says as he grabs his things, leaving the apartment.

Isabelle's jaw drops even more as the bread roll hits the floor.

"What just happened?" Isabelle says as she leans on the counter.

--- the next evening ---

"I hope Mister Dog comes home soon! I hope Mister Dog comes home soon!" Anya repeats as she paces back and forth in front of the TV as Loid and Isabelle try to watch the news.

"Calm down, he'll be here soon. And I can't see the TV" Loid says as he tries to look past Anya.

The doorbell rings as Anya runs over, Yor coming out of the kitchen as she opens the door.

"Good evening" one of the members of WISE says as he stands in the doorway.

"Mister Dog!" Anya says happily.

"Please take good care of him" the agent says as he unhooks the dog's leash, allowing the dog to walk inside as he shuts the door.

"He seems very curious about where he is" Yor says as she watches the dog looking around.

"Welcome to Anya's house, Mister Dog!" Anya cheers as the dog looks at Yor, Anya, Loid and Isabelle as he sees the vision he saw the other day, "this is now your home!".

"You know, we should probably give him a name now" Isabelle says as she puts her hand atop Anya's head.

"Name..." Anya says as she tilts her head.

"I wonder what's wrong" Yor says as she leans down to the dog, realising how timid he is.

"Are you nervous? Do you want a treat?" Anya asks happily, "it's okay. You're one of the Holger's now!".

The dog steps forward as Anya smiles, hugging the dog close.

"Borf!".

--- the next morning ---

"I won't get any stars even though I helped defeat the bad guys?" Anya asks as she peeks her head around the corner.

"Correct" Loid says as he brushes his teeth, "to make sure the East and the West keep getting along, we must keep it a secret. Don't go talking about it at school. The police will get you, and you'll never be able to come home".

"And after we saved the world together, too" Anya says as she walks over to the dog.

"Come now, Miss Anya. It's time" Yor says as she comes out of her room.

If I can't have any stars... The Friendship Scheme is the only way! I'll go to the Second Son's house and make Papa's mission a success!

Anya says determined.

"What? You got a dog?" Damien asks as he looks at Anya, "let's see which one of our dog's is bigger! Bring him over!".

I'm just gonna keep saving the world!

Anya says with a mysterious chuckle.

--- in the classroom ---

"Good morning, Anya" Becky says as she walks over to Anya.

"Morning, please" Anya says as she looks at Becky.

Thank goodness. It looks like she's gotten over her Starlight Anya phase.

Becky says as she sits down.

"Hear me, Becky" Anya says as she shuts her eyes, "a dog has appeared at Anya's house".

"Wait, really? Ooh, what's it like? What breed is it?" Becky asks excitedly.

"Some white kind" Anya says, not knowing what a breed is.

"How old is it?" Becky asks as she tilts her head.

"Dunno. He's big" Anya says blankly.

"I wonder if he's more precious than my little Weasel?" Becky says as she places her books down on the desk, "I hope they can play together! Hey, can I come over to your house..." she asks as Anya runs off, "uh, hello?!".

Anya runs out of the class where she spots Damien, Emile and Ewen walking towards the room.

"What do you want?" Damien asks as Anya stands in front of the three of them.

"Heh. I have a dog now" Anya says with a smirk.

"Yeah, and?" Damien says, not impressed.

"The world is doomed..." Anya says as she falls to her knees.

"A single phrase to bring a commoner to her knees" Emile says as he looks at Damien, "brilliant, Lord Damien".

Huh? Did I say something that mean?

Damien asks, confused.

"I marvel at your wit!" Ewen says as he looks at Damien, "I'm sure it's just some filthy mutt!".

"What's the dog's name?" Damien asks, starting to feel bad for Anya.

"His name..." Anya says excitedly as she stands up, "he doesn't have one" she says as she realises she still hasn't named her dog.

"You're not worthy of owning a dog. I wasted my time" Damien says as he, Emile and Ewen walk away.

--- at lunchtime ---

"What? You want to know how to name a dog?" Becky asks as she and Anya sit down with their meals, "hmm... maybe name him after a cute food or a flower?".

"Food... peanut?" Anya says as she thinks of her favourite food.

"But your doggie is really big, right? Then, maybe Peanut might be weird" Becky says as she tilts her head, "you need to consider his appearance, too".

"Appearance" Anya says as she imagines her dog in her mind, "Old Man Hair?".

"You might be better off letting your Papa or Mama name him" Becky says worriedly.

"Anya has bad taste?" Anya asks sadly.

--- at home ---

"Papa, Mama, Anya is home" Anya says as she opens the door to her apartment.

"Borf!".

The dog runs over to Anya as it pushes her over, lying on top of her as it licks and sniffs her face, welcoming her home.

"Welcome home" Yor says as she comes out of the kitchen, "oh my, you're such good friends".

"Save me! He's gonna eat me!" Anya shouts as she flares her arms.

"Maybe we should take him for a walk" Loid says as he walks out of the living room.

"Walk!" Anya says as the dog gets off of her.

"There's a dog park near the library" Yor says as she looks at Loid.

--- in the streets of Berlint ---

"Woof, woof, woof woof! Woof, woof, woof woof!" Anya sings as she walks with Loid, Yor and the dog, "Papa! Anya wants to hold the leash, too!".

"You're not ready for that. He'll drag you around everywhere" Loid says as he looks at Anya, "though he's been trained before, he still needs household training. You'll need to learn lots of things, too. Like how to feed him, praise him, scold him, etc. You need to be ready to take care of him until the end. By the way, have you come up with a name for him?".

"My naming abilities are dismal" Anya says as she looks down.

"Huh? Alright" Loid says, not questioning it further, "a simple name that's easy for us to say and for him to understand would be best. Apparently, dogs can't tell consonants apart very well, so we'd be better off giving him a name with stronger vowel sounds. Especially, A, O, or U".

"This is hard" Anya says as she starts to think.

--- at home that evening---

"Papa, I know Mister Dog's name now" Anya says as she brings the dog's collar over, placing it around its neck, "from today, Mister Dog, you name will be Bond".

"Bond, from Bondman, eh? Not bad, huh!" Loid says proudly.

"Borf!".

"That tickles" Anya says as Bond licks her face.

"It looks like he approves! And his collar fits perfectly" Yor says happily.

"Okay, Bond. I will now give you your first mission" Anya says as she pours some food into Bond's bowl, "eat every last kibble of this dog food!".

"Borf!".

"Don't give him too much" Loid says as he looks at Anya.

"That was neither good or bad" Anya says as she tries some of Bond's kibble.

Bond holds his head up as Anya reads his mind.

"Oh, you need to go potty!" Anya says as she stands up, "follow me, Bond" she says as she takes Bond to a tray in the corner, "behold, this is your potty. If you go anywhere else, Mama might get mad because she likes everything neat and tidy. So be cautious as you go" she says ad Bond sits, "he did a poo. Stinky".
