Chapter 2

"What's the scoop?" I asked upon entering the business room.

"The three Royal Crests of Europe have gone missing." Ashley reported, "Nobody saw them being stolen, and the security footage happened to be tampered with."

Will and I exchanged a quick glance. The last mission we had that involved Europe, was the one that also involved Kenny.

Kenny's been locked up for a while. None of us have spoken to him since we kicked his ass 3 years ago.

Than again, we really haven't had much time too judging by the fact that we've been super busy. Who knew this world has so many problems.

"The guard who was on watch that night says he doesn't remember a thing." Nick chimed in, spinning around to face us in his spiny chair.

"Ashley, do you think you could mess with the security footage to see what really happened during the time of the robbery?" Will asked her. It's like he read my mind.

"I don't know Will." She replied, "I'd need more than one copy. Probably a whole bunch."

"Well come with us to London. I'm sure there's plenty of accessible copies there for you to use." I suggested.

"Yes, that'd be-"

"Unnecessary." Agent Wisp barged into the meeting room with a file, tossing it onto the table in front of me.

"This job is for Will and Ella only." She stated, signaling for Ashley and Nick to leave the room.

Once our two friends, and partners, left the room, Agent Wisp began to speak.

"Forget what they just told you. Someone found a pic of an unknown security guard leaving the palace after his shift three nights ago." She pulled out the photo for us to see.

"If you look carefully, he's carrying something in the front of his coat." She pointed to then large lump on his coat, making him look pregnant.

"That's what they think is the jewels." Will said.

"They know it's the jewels, because if you look at this photo, you can see the x-Ray form of three types of rocks." She pulled out a different photo.

Examining the rest of the photo, I noticed something extremely weird.

"Hold on, do you have a picture of the robber's face zoomed in?" I asked her. She nodded, and pulled it out.

"Look!" I shouted, pointing to his face, and looking at Will.

"Tell me who that looks like." I demanded.

Will squinted his eyes, before widening them.

"Kenny." He answered, causing me to nod in agreement.

"How can that be though? Kenny's been locked up since we caught him." Agent Wisp explained.

"Well he's not an only child. He has an older brother, Kory." Will told her.

"That's something we never thought about." She shook her head.

I looked at the photo again. I remember Kory's handsome face like he kidnapped me yesterday. There's no way it's him.

"Yea, but that doesn't look like Kory at all." I piped. Both of them looked at me with confused expressions.

"Ella, he's the only one who could possibly look so close to Kenny like tha-"

"No! I know what Kory looks like, and trust me, that's not him at all. Plus, Kory and Kenny really didn't look all that much alike." I pointed out.

"What are you saying?" They both asked in unison.

"I'm saying, what if Kenny happened to not have just one brother, but two." I said.

Agent Wisp shook her head.

"Good thinking Ella. Maybe we don't know everything about Kenny like we thought we did." She said.

"True." Will muttered.

"Well, we have Kenny locked up right under us, free to talk with whenever we want. Why don't we pay him a visit Will." I proposed.

"I don't know if that's such a good idea." Will shook his head.

"Please. Don't tell me you're scared." I teased, pretending to tremble.

"What? No! I'm not scared, I just- ugh fine." Will rolled his eyes as he gave in.

"Great!" I cheered, "We'll be back!" I said to Agent Wisp, before grabbing Will's hand, and running off towards the cells below the agency.

"Your flight leaves in an hour!" Agent Wisp shouted after us.

"Ella, you're crazy." Will said, right as the elevator door shut.
