The idea for this story belongs to jeonomel. I simply picked it up and tweaked it a bit but she deserves at least half the credit! I was inspired to take this one off of her hands by pocketbangtan's Fae. After reading that I just knew I had to try something like this on my own. I have always been obsessed with my Celtic heritage and the version of Fae that is predominant in Ireland and the UK.

The town that this book takes place in is entirely fictional. I do not know if there is actually a Fearn Falls anywhere in the USA but this particular Fearn Falls, Oregon is entirely in my head.I will be taking a lot of creative licenses, but even so, I hope that I can do the fairy tales I love so much justice. This piece was also inspired by one of my favourite childhood movies, Thumbelina. I watched Fox's version so much as a kid that I could probably sing all of the musical scores by heart. I hope that this story becomes as dear to you as Thumbelina is to me. Enjoy!
