Personality: Attractive but not unapproachable, intelligent but not introverted, amiable while still independent, Evangeline has gone through life as the stereotypical "golden girl". She has a strong will to succeed in everything she does and will not tolerate obstacles, whether in the form of misfortune or people. She tends to either inspire love and admiration, or is the object of hate and criticism. Evangeline is a divisive personality, but she doesn't seem to care. In her eyes, the phrase "any publicity is good publicity" rings true. However, while it seems life comes easy for Evangeline, there's a darker side to her. She is incredibly jealous and insecure, and perfection is almost a compulsion for her. She cultivates her image carefully and will go to every length possible to make sure she remains the center of her own universe. Vengeful and intolerant of competition, she can be cruel to those who dare to go against her. At 28, she is still single, not because she hasn't had the opportunity to pursue love and family, but because she has severe trust issues. Evangeline isn't sure there aren't people out there who don't lie, cheat, and break hearts, so she tends to hurt others before they can hurt her. Deep down, she wants to be loved for herself, but has a habit of attracting exactly what she fears. She has no interest in casual relationships and superficial friendships, but life has taught her love is highly conditional.

Backstory: Evangeline is the only child of a wealthy couple who doted on her. In exchange for living a privileged and carefree existence, her parents instilled a strong work ethic, a sense of self bordering on arrogance, and the idea that anything less than perfection is failure. She lives by the mantra "Second place is the first to lose". Her distrust of others stems from watching the disintegration of her parents' relationship, and screaming matches over pride, infidelity, and lies that inevitably ended in divorce. Evangeline was always expected to hide her emotions and never let others see tears, pain, or weakness. Though this is not necessarily natural to her character, she taught herself this skill as necessary to her survival in the world. For someone who has everything, she is an incredibly unhappy person who has never known security or unconditional love.
