I waited in front of the large apartment while Aaron went and got his car. I waited patiently as he pulled up to the sidewalk. I got in the passenger seat and buckles my seatbelt. I gave Aaron directions to my apartment and he began to drive.

"Oh right, what is my schedule for babysitting the kids?" I asked.

Aaron thought for a moment before speaking, "Well, if it's okay with you....if you could come by around 6:00 am and get them ready for school and then take them to and from school? You can just go home in between the times when they're at school though."

I nodded in understanding. "What about housework? I can also handle that and then I can cook for the kids and stay with them until you get home."

"If you could....that would be great. They wouldn't have to be left alone for a long period of time." Aaron smiled slightly.

"What about weekend's?"

"Um....Saturday just come by and take them to the park? But Sunday you can have off along with holidays." Aaron answered.

After we finished speaking the car went silent and all that was heard was the noises the car made and other passing trucks and vehicles. We soon arrived at my apartment and Aaron parked his car.

"Thank you...for driving me home." I said with a smile.

Aaron smiled back, "It's no problem."

I got out of the car and Aaron didn't leave until I was safely in the small apartment building. I walked up the stairs and went strait to my room. I unlocked the door and went inside going right to bed. I was exhausted.

Next morning

I woke up right at 6:00 am and hurried to get ready.

"Accckk I can't be late!" I yelled to myself as I quickly showered and got changed.

I changed into a gray long sleeved shirt and some jeans and convers'.  I hurried out the door and hailed down a taxi. I was definitely going to need a car. The driver drove me to the familiar apartment building and dropped me off. I approached the building and rang the apartment number.

"Hello?" Aaron's voice sounded from the small box.

"Hi, it's me (Y/N)."

"Come on in. I'll give you a key before I leave." Aaron said than hung up.

I went through the glass doors and right up to Aaron's apartment. I knocked on the door and it suddenly swung open making me jump back.

"Thank Irene you're here. Malachi will not listen to me for nothing." Aaron groaned.

I smiled, "Don't worry, you just get ready for work and I'll take care of the kids."

Relief filled Aaron's face and he invited me inside. "Thanks (Y/N). Here's a spare key."

Aaron's smile warmed my heart as he handed the key. He then left for work and I went into the boys' room and turned on the light. "Malachi, Levin. Get up and get ready."

Malachi groaned and rolled over, "Noooo sleeeeep."

I frowned and walked over to Malachi. "Wake up or you won't get an after school snack and I'll make you eat all your vegetables."

Malachi then shot up from his bed making me chuckle.

"Now go get ready."

I then woke up Malachi, who woke up quickly, and got both their school clothes ready. I then combed both their hair had them go brush their teeth. Now, I was making breakfast. I made eggs and toast while Malachi and Levin watched TV.

The clock reached 7:30 am as the boys got their coat and shoes on.

"Ready to go?" I asked.

Levin nodded excited and Malachi was pouting. I smiled and had them follow me out of the room. I locked the apartment door behind us and we piled into the elevator.

"I wanna push the button!" Levin yelled excited.

"Heh, go ahead." As soon as I gave permission, Levin slammed his hand on the 1st floor button making the elevator ding.

We went down all the floors making stops occasionally for others. As soon as we reached the first floor I grabbed both Levin and Malachi's hands and lead them outside.

"Now, stay close and do not run off. Keep tight hold of my hand until we get to your school." I said sternly.

Malachi and Levin both nodded in understanding as we walked away from the apartment. Aaron had written down instructions how to get to their school and it was only a ten minute walk away. We walked the whole ten minutes and soon reached the small school. We approached the gate when Levin let go of ,y hand and ran inside the playground.

"Ms. Kiki!" Levin said excited.

Malachi and I walked to where Levin ran off to and he was standing next to a beautiful girl with red hair and green eyes.

"Oh hello! You're a new face." The woman said in a sweet voice.

"She's our new mom Ms. Kiki." Malachi said with a very serious tone.

"Wha- no, I'm-"

"Kikikiki wonderful! I never knew Aaron remarried!" The woman Kiki said excited.

I wasn't able to get a word in before the school bell rang and Kiki had to leave and gather up all the kids. I was speechless and glanced down at Malachi. He smiled big and hurried off towards the school with Levin. A smile then crept up on my lips....This might be a problem.

I turned around and was about to leave through the gates when I heard a voice call out, "Wait!" Kiki yelled out.

I stopped and turned back towards Kiki. "Yes?"

"Here....... I needed..... to give you this." Kiki said almost out of breath.

She handed me a flier that said in big letters PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE. I let a small sigh escape my lips. I needed to clear up this misunderstanding.

" Actually, I'm not their-"

"Oops! Sorry, I gotta get back to the kids!" Kiki said in a rushed voice and took off back to the school.

I smiled but groaned at the same time. Darn you Malachi, you are causing me trouble! I shook my head and a small laugh escaped my lips as I went into town. I might as well pick up some groceries for dinner.
