My mind was blank as I stood in the doorway. Aaron had an irritated look on his face as he let out a sigh and ran his hand through his hair. "Sorry about that." Aaron said.

I finally came back to my senses and turned to Aaron, my face still flushed red. "What....was that about?" I asked.

"Well, Laurence -my coworker- likes to flirt....he's no better than Travis." Aaron mumbled the last part.

"I kinda figured but...why me? And...why did you say I was your girlfriend?" I asked.

Aaron sighed again but then smiled, "Laurence just thought you were pretty and nice...and..I only said you were my girlfriend so Laurence wouldn't pursue you any further."

I was a little disappointed at Aaron's answer but what was I expecting? My eyes dropped to the floor and then I remembered, I needed to apologize to Aaron. "Aaron." I started.

Aaron gave me a worried look, "Yes?"

"I'm sor-"

Before I could finish Aaron's face turned pale as he held his ha over his mouth and stomach. "Sorry." Aaron said quickly before rushing to the bathroom. I smiled and went to grab some water for his now upset stomach...will he even be able to work tomorrow? Aaron soon came out of the bathroom with an extremely tired look on his face. His eyes were red and his face was still pale.

"You okay?" I asked in a gentle voice as I handed Aaron some water.

"Not anymore..." Aaron groaned as he sipped the water. "Oh right, what was it you were going to tell me earlier?"

"Just that I was sorry...for everything.." I said.

"Oh..." Aaron went silent for a few minutes before speaking up, "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have done something that made you uncomfortable."

"But it didn't make me uncomfortable." I realized what I just said and slapped my hand over my mouth...what did I just say!?

Aaron's face was filled with shock and I covered my mouth. "(Y/N)..."

"Just ignore what I just said!" I said embarrassed.

"Wait." Aaron said as he approached me.

"I-I should go." I said quickly but Aaron was faster and grabbed my hands.

"Wait (Y/N). Please...what can I take that as. That you didn't dislike my kiss." Aaron said gently.

My heart was pounding fast in my chest and I averted my eyes. "...." I was silent.

Aaron thought for a few moments before stroking my hair and then pulling away. "You don't have to give me an answer. Sorry for pressuring you."

Aaron let out a sigh and scratched the back of his head. "Need a ride home?" He asked.

"I'm good..thanks..I brought my car today." I said a bit quietly.

"Okay...drive safe."

We exchanged goodbyes and I hurried home. As I entered my apartment I hurriedly hid under my blankets in my bed. Ugg! I ran away again! Now it's so obvious that I like Aaron but why did he look so hopeful?....Could it be Aaron likes me the same way I like him? If so...that would be a dream come true.

I let out a long sigh and got up. I quickly got ready for bed and then slept somewhat peacefully through the night. I had decided as soon as I reach Aaron's I would confess. But every time he was either to busy or we missed each other just by a hair. The day to help Kiki with the festival soon came. I was in the classroom with Kiki helping her paint a small banner.

"Is everything okay (Y/N)?" Kiki asked.

"Hm? What do you mean?" I asked confused.

Kiki frowned slightly, "Well, you've been sighing and frowning a lot lately."

I smiled slightly, "Thank you for worrying about me but it's nothing."

"Hmm 'nothing' wouldn't make you look so upset." Kiki hit the nail on the head and I averted my gaze.

I let out another sigh..."Aaron and I are having...some complications." I said quietly.

"Oh no! What's going on?" Kiki asked worried.

"It's...complicated..." I said hoping Kiki wouldn't press further and luckily she didn't.

The air filled with silence until we finished the banner and then Kiki hung it up in the classroom. "Oh yeah! There will be fireworks at the end of the festival. I think Malachi and Levin would love to see that." Kiki said.

After helping with a few more things the festival soon started and parents arrived with their children.

"Hey (Y/N). Was dad going to come too?" Malachi approached me with Levin right next to him.

"Oh....I forgot." I said worried. "Gimme a minute." I said quickly grabbing my phone.

I went to my contacts and clicked on Aaron's number. It rang...and rang...and rang... and...soon went to voice mail.

I groaned inwardly and began to talk into the receiver, "Hey Aaron, it's (Y/N). I'm sorry it's so sudden and...well, last minute but there is a festival today at the boys' school and I was wanting to invite you earlier but missed my chance. Well, I hope you can make it and I need to tell you something too. Anyways, that's all...see ya."

I hung up and turned back towards Levin and Malachi. "So? Is dad coming?" Malachi asked.

"I'm...not sure. But I bet he will show up so don't worry! Right now let's go out and see what other classes set up." I said.

Malachi nodded and looked excited. We then began to walk down the halls to other classes. I hope Aaron gets my message soon and comes....I hope work will even let him off....please hurry Aaron...I want to see you.
