Kaede Himehara is Arata's coworker and close friend since junior high. They both graduated from the same college. She was the one who recommended Arata to work in the café. She sometimes thinks of Arata as the one, but when she does, she gets flustered quickly. She enjoys being with him in person and doesn't get embarrass quickly, unless she lets her fantasy get the better of her.

Her personality gives her the impression of doting sister, but she's actually a single child. She sometimes treats Arata like a child, but she only does so to mask her affection from him. She hopes that someday, she will have the courage to tell him that she likes him.
