Jungkook carried Jimin in his arms into one of the living rooms in his father's estate. Taehyung was already sitting on one of the couches along with his father. Right across of them, on another couch, was Jay Park, lazily sitting, looking a bit too comfortable and super bored.

Taehyung glanced at the two of his loves, worry and compassion evident in his eyes. Jungkook lowered the older unconscious boy on the third couch that was in between the other two, making a formation of a half-circle. Taehyung stood up and took three steps to reach them. He glanced at the passed out boy and put his arm around Jungkook's shoulders. He reached for the inner pocket of his suit. Seeing the tears in the eyes of his younger boyfriend he leaned in closer to his ear and whispered, "He's going to be okay, Kook. Trust me. I got this." He winked at the end and pulled out a small vial filled with crystal clear liquid.

"Make him drink it somehow."

Taehyung then turned away and faced the other two people present in the room. Jungkook, instantly understanding, nodded and poured the liquid inside his mouth. He then sat on Jimin's lap and gently kissed him, transferring the liquid in Jimin's mouth and making him drink the antidote. Anxious, he kept sitting by his side, hugging his body and making Jimin lean onto him.

Taehyung tried to hide that scene behind his figure the best he could and smiled mischievously, wanting to attract everybody's attention onto himself.

"So," he began, "we should start discussing now the—"

Jungkook's father sneered. "What is there to discuss?!"

Jay chuckled at that. "Ah, you really didn't change, old man."

"Who are you calling old?!"

"Gentlemen!" Taehyung stopped their bickering. He sat down next to Jungkook and Jimin who was slowly waking up in Jungkook's hold. "Let's not prolong this any longer. We all know why we're here. Settling your heir once and for all, sir," Taehyung spoke looking directly to Jungkook's father in the end.

"Why should that need settling? My heir was always the same. He's right there," he pointed at his son.

Taehyung shook his head, attempting to suppress the urge to roll his eyes. "But he does not want that position," he let out a heavy sigh.
"I should cut to the chase. You will either proclaim me your heir and keep your power until your death if you wish to do so or you will lose your empire, rot in prison and I'm still going to inherit all of this. The end result is going to be the same in the end, you can just choose what you would prefer to happen to you."

"Now that's funny. Why would I ever end up in prison? Don't you think I would already be there if it was so easy to put me there?" he challenged.

Taehyung smirked, "You're forgetting something."

Jimin was now fully awake, trying to take everything in. Jungkook was whispering something in his ear, succeeding in keeping the shorter boy calm.

Taehyung allowed himself one glance at Jimin and Jungkook before he stood up and continued explaining with a cold but calm and confident demeanor.

"You see you are very competent and you basically made no crucial mistakes in all the years you ran your business. But you still let one person escape your grip. And sadly that's enough to cost you everything. That person is, of course, none other than Jay Park. Which you obviously know," Jay grinned and jokingly waved at that.

Taehyung continued, unbothered, "It's clear that all the groups that are still in business or were, are only because you let them. Groups you supported like 1DAY, TVXQ and then JYJ, even Bangtan is one of those today. The older ones turned to dust or became parts of newer ones after their leaders have done something wrong. But! The one and only exception is Jay Park. Whatever you tried, nothin worked and Jay and his group AOMG kept managing to thrive despite you. And, luckily for me, he's willing to support my cause and help me get what I want."

Jungkook's father glared at Jay. "And why would he do that? I thought we had a deal. A truce. "

Jay gave him a smug look. "But all that evidence I have that could lock you in jail~~ To just let it all go to waste like that... That would be so sad," Jay answered sarcastically.

"But why now?" Jungkook's father insisted. "I'm not trying to make you or your puny group disappear, I'm not meddling at all. You have all the freedom you want. What more could you possibly want?"

"Why? Well, that's quite simple really. Same reason you have for absolutely everything. Blood. Family. Jimin there is my cousin. I've been trying to find him and his family for a long time. Seems he's the only one who survived after your attacks on them, he must've been pretty damn lucky."

Jimin stared at Jay in shock. News that he had living relatives took him by surprise. He firmly believed that he was the only one out of his family that was still alive. And yet this random guy was claiming to be his cousin.

Jay continued, "And as you always say; family is all you have in this world, only ones you can count on to not stab you in the back. Which is pretty ironic considering everything you're doing to your son. But alas, Jiminie here is my family and I shall help him and his boyfriends no matter what the price may be. It's way overdue of me to do so. And plus, I can't really complain about finally getting to put you in a retirement home, old man, now can I?"

Jungkook's father stared emotionlessly before himself.

"Verry well," he turned his head to look at his son. "Nothing will change your mind? You seriously want him to take your position?"

Jungkook nodded, eyes glistening with unshed tears but his gaze determined and sincere, "It's the best solution, father."

His father also nodded. "So be it."

A few hours later everybody was leaving the estate, feeling pretty content and happy with themselves. (Its owner not included, of course.)

Taehyung packed the important paperwork in his briefcase. Jungkook smirked smugly and raised his middle-finger to the house after slamming the doors. Jimin followed them, trying to blink away his tears but smiling widely.

Jay joined him from the behind. He put his hand on the younger's shoulder getting his attention.

"Oh," Jimin spoke after he turned around and saw him. He wiped the corners of his eyes with the back of his sleeve. "Hi there," he sniffed.

"Hey Jimin," the other greeted with a smile and they continued to stare at each other.

Eventually, Jimin spoke. "So is it really true what you said in there? We're really cousins?"

Jay nodded. "Yeah, it's true. Our fathers were brothers. Well, half-brothers, I think."

Jimin looked at him with amazement. "Woah. I never knew that! How come I never heard of you?" he asked him.

"I actually met you once before, shortly after you were born. You were a baby so, of course, you don't remember or me. Truth is, our parents didn't really like each other all that much. Although they got along fine when needed. But soon after you were born my parents decided to leave Korea for some time and we moved to America and they broke off almost all contact with their relatives. I think they wanted to start a new life but it wasn't that easy," explained Jay. "And then I got involved with mafia too. And well I'm sorry how that turned out."

Jimin nodded in understanding. "Ah, I see... But why did you say 'too'? Ignoring my boyfriends, I myself am really not involved with any of it."

"Oh, but our fathers were."

"What?!" Jimin's eyes popped.

"Yeah, the sad truth is that family really is super important in this world. Your father was probably planning to introduce you to it too. But they made mistakes, and I decided to follow my gut and start my own thing and sadly everybody suffered in the end."

Jimin was processing everything. "So you're saying my parents died because of you?"

"No. They were killed, but that was purely their fault. I did what was best for myself after that. I thought you were dead as well for a long time, Jimin. And I'm so sorry. For everything that happened and everything you had to go through. Taehyung filled me in on some details. I wish I knew, I would've definitely helped you if that was the case."

Jimin bit and chewed his lip. "It's okay. I'd rather leave the past behind, in the past where it belongs."

They stood in silence for the next two minutes. "So how did you get to know Taehyung?" Jimin wondered.

"Oh, well, I heard of him before, his group is infamous, even in the general public. I, being in the business myself, heard good things of their leader Namjoon." Jimin smiled and nodded, having met Namjoon himself and very well aware of what a great leader he was. "I gotta say I was surprised by Taehuyng. It might not seem so at first, but this life really does suit him and I believe he could get far, after all, he's already thriving. I was very impressed but I had to admit I was also a bit afraid for him because his feelings of love towards you two were so transparent. But now it's clear to me that that's just another one of his strengths. He would do anything for you two and everything he shall do if needed."

Jimin smiled widely and blushed a bit after hearing those words. His heart sped up and a pleasant warmth surrounded his body. After a few seconds, he realized Jungkook and Taehyung were hugging him. Jay chuckled at that and excused himself, promising to Jimin that they would talk some more soon.

The three lovers watched him drive away. Jungkook kissed Jimin's and Taehyung's cheeks while Taehyung spoke into Jimin's ear. "Sorry for letting you get drugged, love."

Jimin, who almost forgot the fact that he was poisoned, looked at him dumbfounded. "Yah!" He hit Taehyung's shoulder. "I was poisoned! Why wasn't I given the antidote mix beforehand if you had it, huh?!"

Taehyung winced at all the blows he was getting. Jungkook joined in on hitting him. "Hey, hey! It still worked out in the end, didn't it?"

"You little-" Jimin wasn't about to stop.

"The threat was the last resort! Because it was bluffing, we have no evidence to put your father in jail Jugnkook. And who knows how he would've reacted if his plan didn't work and we weren't poisoned somehow. His back-up plan might have been even worse!"

The other two stopped their abuse.
"There's no evidence?" Jungkook asked.

"So I was the sacrificial lamb?" Jimin questioned.

"You were what we needed to make it seem like everything was going his way for a short while. Your health was never compromised though! The drink Jungkook gave you can be used for a wide variety of commonly used poisons. And I made sure you were okay first and it wasn't one of those that killed instantly."

"Oh," Jimin breathed a sigh of relief, not completely relieved but a bit better than before. "You're still getting it when we get home," he pointed his finger at him and walked towards their car.

Taehyung turned to Jungkook. "And yeah, there's no real evidence, but it doesn't matter anymore. We won."

Jungkook chuckled at him. "I can't believe you fooled him." Taehyung smiled back and grabbed his wrist. "I love you," Jungkook said to Taehyung and they shared a kiss.

"Hey!" Jimin shouted through the open window from the inside of their car. "Get in here you two! I love you too!"

"We know!" Taehyung shouted back at him. "We love you as well."

All of them giggled and pilled inside the car. Jimin captured them in a bone-crushing hug the second they were inside.

"Now let's go home and let me show you how much I love you."
