"You're finsihed baby"

I was in the nail salon getting my nails done. Since the person doing my nails was my auntie I didn't have to pay. That's why having talented family members is a must.

The baby shower was today so I had to get my nails done either pink or blue. Since I couldn't decide if it was going to be a boy or a girl I did my nails pink but my outfit and hair is blue.

I got a whole bunch of flowers, bows and rinehstones on my nails. My aunt added a little bit of gold to my nails also.

Nova and I went to the mall today so we can shop for the seminar and so I can buy the baby shower clothes. Instead of shoppong Silas decided to go through Anthony's closet since the colors he has is black and a couple of grays.

Nova went home mintues after we finished shopping since her dad said he had a surprise for her. When she got home she found a broom next to her bed with a note that said 'even though you don't live here this is still your room so clean it up' with a heart next to it.

Once I finished my nails I left the mall and went home. Silas kept on telling me that Everly told him she was crying for me.

How does he know that when she doesn't even talk? I don't even know.
He just wanted me to come back home.

After I stopped at the grocery store to get me some late night snacks I went home. The moment I opened the door Jordan came running to me while Everly was crawling like a mad man with a smile on her face.

I kissed Jordan's forehead while I lifted Everly off the ground. I walked into the living room where I saw Silas was on YouTube watching a video.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to see how I can style curly hair. I want to do Everly's hair for the baby shower"

I leaned over the couch and kissed his forehead. Ever since he found out that YouTube has hair tutorials he has been going there to do Jordan's hair for school. He wants to be the 'creative' dad when it comes to the kids hairstyles.

I handed him Everly and went to the kitchen to fix everyone a light snacks before we go to the roach trap house you call my aunty house.

"I'm done Nevaeh. Come look"

I walked into the living room where all types of curl creams and leave in conditioners were on the table.

He lifted Everly up so I could see. She had two space buns in the front of head with her curly hair let out in the back. Her edges were laid too.

"So, what do you think?"

"Her hair look beautiful. How did you get her to stay still while you did her hair?"

Whenever she even sees the comb she starts crying. She cries to point where Silas has to come and take his baby from me.

"I guess she's only tinder headed when it comes to you. I just give her a piece of chicken to keep her distracted while she plays on her iPad"

I should've know the secret to making her stay still was food. This is why I love food. It's the solution to everything.

While they were laying on the couch I went to the kitchen to put everyone's food on a plate.

I lied when I said light snack. I made everyone a burger with curly fries that he cheese and bacon on it.

I refuse to have my kids tell me that they found a roach leg in their food like I used to do when I was younger.

I placed everyone's food in front of them then went to take a seat. Everly has two sliders instead of a regular sized burger. By the way she was looking at Silas's burger I could tell she wanted to take a bite.

"Is Myra going to be at this baby shower?"

Jordan asked. I looked at Silas who looked at me. We both know that my mom set my aunt car on fire because she was being a dog. I don't know if she's going to show up.

"I don't know. My mom is supposed to bring Myra but her and my aunt don't exactly get along"

She nodded her head and got back to eating. It's a good thing she didn't ask more questions because I wouldn't know how to answer them. This family is disfunctional.

After we were done eating I packed up Everly's bag and sent everyone to go get dressed. We were already running late. The baby shower started one hour ago. Well at least I'm showing up.

I took Everly to her room and placed her in her crib. Since I didn't want to do the whole blue for boy or pink for girl thing I decided to dress her up in yellow.

I picked up a yellow and white off the shoulder shirt with blue sunflower jeans. I added a white headband bow to tie the whole outfit together. The hairstyle Silas did went great with it.

I decided to put on a blue polo shirt with white ripped jeans and blue and white Nikes.

After we were done I sprayed perfume on us and went downstairs. Once I got to the living room I saw Silas putting Jordan's hair in two braids. Once she wa done she put on her hat and got up to show me her outfit.

She had on a black and white Chanel shirt with black overalls and some vans. She added a furball hat and black sunglasses to the outfit.

Silas on the other hand had on a white hoodie with a pink jean jacket, blue ripped jeans, and black and white vans.

"Let's get going my beautiful people"

Silas chuckled and got Everly's stroller. All of us got out the house and into Silas car. On our way to the  baby shower we were singing along to the radio while Everly was just screaming.

Once we got to my aunt's house I took a deep breathe and looked at Silas. He shut off the car and unbuckled his seat belt.

"Silas, be prepared to be seduced by a old pregnant woman"

"I'm pretty sure she won't try to secude me. Her baby's father will definitely have something to say about that"

Just you wait.

"My favorite niece is here"

Here goes Ms. Nasty. She had the fakest smile on her face as she walked up to us. Even though she said neice she was looking at Silas.

"Who's this handsome YOUNG man?"
