"Nevaeh don't forget about the baby shower on Saturday. Invite your husband too"

My mom screamed from the school parking lot. That's what I get for wanting some mother daughter time this morning.

Instead of taking my car I decided to ride with my mom since she passes by my school on her way to work. Not only that but Evely was in the car.

Once I set foot in the car my mom informed me that my least favorite auntie is having her baby shower on Saturday and that I should invite Silas and bring Everly.

I know she's going to be all over Silas and sneak diss me while she's at it. She's one of those hoe aunties you don't invite to your house or any event.

She even tried to seduce my dad once. After my mom snatched the wig off her head and set her car on fire she stopped messing with my dad. That doesn't mean she stopped messing with the men in her family though.

The fact that I'm being forced to go to her baby shower is bothering me. She gives the worst gifts, her cornbread is always dry, and her house got roaches the size of a dollar bill.

If I'm being forced to go I'm bringing my own food, water, and air to breathe.

"Hi Nevaeh"

Nova said from the other side of my locker. I was about to answer her but I took in her appearance. She had bags under her eyes and her red hair was a mess. She had on a red pair of shoe and a black one.

"What's wrong Nova?"

"I had to take care of the baby all by myself last night. Anthony spent his time watching High School Musical 3 while I took care of Xavier. Around ten I finally got him to sleep. Once I put him down Anthony let out a loud cry because they all graduated which woke Xavier up"

I pulled her into a hug and patted her back. This must be how my mom looked when she had Myra. I bet you she was alot of trouble. I was a good child so it obviously wasn't me.

"Just hide all the food until Anthony does what he's told. That works for my dad all the time"

I said making her laugh. When we pulled away Anthony and Silas came walking towards us with huge smiles on their faces.

"Today is a beautiful day. I feel so refreshed and ready to start my day. Last night I had a good night's rest"

Anthony said as he sighed. He had a smile on his face as he looked around him. Nova took one look at him and walked away.

"What's wrong with her?"

"Oh I don't know she's probably tired from taking care of Xavier all by herself while you were balling your eyes out watching High School Musical. You were no help"

"That's not completely true I held Xavier while she went to use the bathroom"

"Did you hold him or did you place him on the chair so you could dance along to the songs?"

He looked away while scratching the back of his head. He knows damn well he didn't help Nova out at all.

"I'll go apologize"

He said as he walked in the direction that Nova went in. Once he was gone Silas pulled me into a hug and kissed my cheek.

"Hi sunshine"

He whispered while he ran his fingers through my hair. I smiled and leaned up to kiss his cheek.

"I have your surprise ready for you. We're going to go see it after school today"

I nodded my head and pulled away from him. I'm so excited to see what he got me. He's the best gift giver ever.
I'm lucky to have a husband like him.

I took my books out of my locker and walked to our first period. Once we walked in the whole room became silent. Then whispers erupted throughout the classroom.

This school always has new drama everyday. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone was spreading rumors about themselves just to be relevant.

We walked over to our seats and sat down. Everyone turned around and just stared at us. Silas sat back while I was playing with my fingers. I hate attention.

My phone dinged causing me to look down. It was a message from an unknown number. I took a deep breath and opened the message.

My eyes popped out of my head as I saw what the person sent me. It was a picture of me sneaking out of the boys bathroom with Silas behind me and Anthony in front of me.

I showed it to Silas and he snatched the phone out of my hand. That picture made it look like Anthony, Silas, and I had a threesome.

Nova's phone dinged causing her to look down also. Moments later she looked at me with an unreadable look in her eyes. She was obviously feeling some type of way because she likes Anthony.

"It's not what you think" I said to a very confused Nova. She nodded her head in understanding.

"I know you guys were only in there because of Silas. Anthony told me that once it happened. It's just a little weird since the picture says otherwise. The person who took it obviously was looking for that kind of response"

I nodded my head and looked at Silas who was about to break my phone in half. I gently took my phone out his hand and put it on my lap. I know my mom not gonna buy me another one if Silas break it. I'm not Myra.

Silas took his phone out and went on notes. His hand was moving lighting fast as he was grunting. I feel bad for his screen, it must get abused daily.

I will find out who took that picture and take care of  them. I have my ways of knowing who texted you and they will pay.

I nodded my head and focused on the teacher. While she was teaching us about the trading system all I could think about was wigs.

I really need a new hairstyle because the sew in I have on now is not cutting it anymore. I also wanted a blue wig it. My dad might call me a Smurf but it's worth it if my hair looks nice.

"What are you thinking about?"

Silas whispered to me. I must've been in deep thought because I already imagined how my wig would look like if I get it.

"I want a blue wig but I don't know where to get it from"

I could ask my aunt Shirley but, she was telling me how she's booked from now all the way to Christmas. I don't want to stress her out so I rather pay for a wig then get it for free.

"Don't worry I got you"

He whispered back. I looked at him with a confused look on my face but all he did was smile. If he's getting my hopes up for no reason I'm moving to Canada with Everly and leaving him here.

Throughout the whole class all he was doing was sketching something in his notebook. I tried to peek at his notebook but he gave me a chocolate bar to keep me distracted. How disrespectful.

The fact that it worked is actually sad.

After school

"Take two more steps"

Silas said as he lead me somewhere. I had a blindfold over my eyes so I had no idea where I was going.

Once school was over Silas dragged me to his car and Anthony dragged Nova to his. It's pretty suspicious if you ask me.

"Now take off your blindfold"

I eagerly ripped the blindfold off and opened my eyes. I was meet with a door that said B23 on it. I looked back at Silas in confusion until I saw him pull out a silver key.

"What's going on?"

"This is our condo sunshine. I bought it for my little family"

I watched as the door opened revealing a huge condo. The walls were white with gray, pink, and a mint color. My favorite part about it was that it already had furniture and the floors were hardwood.

"Silas you didn't have to do this. I'm  fine with us living separately and taking care of Everly together"

"I wanted to do it for you guys. As a husband and a father it's my job to make sure that my girls are happy"

I jumped on him causing him to place his hand under my butt. My lips attacked his in a swift motion catching him off guard. I sucked on his lips while my hand ran through his hair. Groans left his mouth as he squeezed my butt. I was about to put my tongue in his mouth when he pulled away.

"Let's finish this later sunshine. I have to show you the rest of the house"

I hopped down and fixed my skirt. He grabbed my hand and led me down a dark hallway. We came face to face with white double doors that had gold handlebars on it. When Silas opened it my mouth dropped.

It was a master bedroom with a chandelier hanging in the middle of the room and wood panels on the ceiling.

The first thing I did was take off my shoes and run to the bed. Since I'm going to spend 99.99% of my time there I have to make sure it's comfortable.

I rubbed my face in the pillows and pulled the blanket over me. Since I shaved the blanket felt like a cloud against my leg.

I snapped out of my trance once I heard Silas laughter. He was standing at the door looking at me with the widest smile on his face.

"Come let's go. I have to show you Everly's room"

I reluctantly got off the bed and kissed it. I will be back later. Just me and the bed spending some quality time together without a hyena laughing Silas to interrupt us.

I followed Silas across the hall where Everly was written in pink bold letters. I opened the door and I was surprised.

This room is built for a princess. Our princess.

"Silas you're an amazing husband and father"

"Thank you sunshine"

We spent the rest of our time looking at the other places that were in the condo. Turns out the condo has a smart refrigerator that works off commands. If I ask for a ice cream bar the refrigerator will take it out and drop it in slot outside of the fridge.

I was about to go back to my bed when the doorbell rung. I opened the door only to be meet with a smiling Nova and a idiot looking Anthony.
