"Come on Neaveh we're two and a half hours later"

Silas screamed from downstairs. I could hear him running around the house. The date with my parents latest longer than I thought. We lost track of time.

While silas was rushing to find his missing socks he kept on screaming about I was taking my sweet time. We're so late that there's no point of us rushing. At this point there lucky if we even show up.

Nova was in the bathroom getting ready while I was in my room. Anthony was already downstairs watching tv when Silas and I came home. I don't know how he got in though.

As I applied my earring I stood up to examine myself. I had on a black and gold glittery dress with black spiked red bottoms. My gold earring and black and gold beaded clutch held the outfit together.

Since its just homecoming I decided to look basic. But, when it's prom I'm going all out. Why ride in a limo when you can pull up in a airplane?

"Are you ready Nova?"

"I'm coming"

She stepped out in a blue and gold dress with gold shoes. She added a gold clutch, gold necklace, and gold earrings.

"We look like the main event"

Nova said as we walked in front of my full length mirror. Silas really outdid himself with the wig this time. It was a curly wig with a side part.

"Neaveh I will stop making you wigs if you don't come down right now"

I quickly grabbed Nova's hand and dragged her down the hall. I can't afford Silas quitting on me. His wigs look better than the professionally made wigs that costs hundreds of dollars.

We stopped at the top of the stairs when the guys came into view. Silas was wearing a plain black suit with a gold bowtie. Anthony was wearing a similar suit but with a black tie.

"You look beautiful as always baby"

Silas whispered in my ears while he squeezed me in a hug. He pulled away and held me at arms length. His eyes roamed my body as he licked his lips.

"Come on guys let's get going before all the food is gone"

"Is food all that matters to you?"

"Is there something else that's supposed to matter more to me?"

Nova huffed and walked out the door. It must suck being second place to food. Silas is laughing like he isn't second place to food too. I just won't tell him that.

Once we arrived at the hall where homecoming was taking place thank u, next was playing. The room was pitch dark with a couple random colors flashing around every five seconds.

To my surprise half of the student body was in the corner with someone. Some were dancing dirty and some were giving head or getting head.

"And the punch is spiked"

Anthony said as he filled his champagne class to the top. He drunk it all in one swift motion. I guess Silas is the designated driver like always.

After a couple cups of 'punch' we all headed out to the dance floor. Silas had his hands on my butt while I was throwing it back on him.

While Nova was dancing Antony occasionally fed her some chicken so she can keep her energy up.

"What's up party people"

The dj screamed into the mic. The song was just getting to the good part too. I hate when dj's cut off the music just to speak to the audience like we want to talk to them

While the dj was talking Nova and I went on Snapchat and started taking pictures. In the middle of our photoshoot we heard heavy feet approaching us.

"I see you showed up dressed for a Halloween party. What were you coming as? A hooker."

She said looking dead at me. Emily is wearing a purple bra with a purple mini skirt. Her shoes looked like she attached two skyscrapers to her feet.

"I recommend you try crack, meth, or heroin before you try me bitch"

"Whatever. Silas you look handsome. And Anthony you look finer than ever"

"I know"

They both said at the same time. They rolled their eyes and got back to their conversation. Emily just stood in front of our table with a stupid smile on her face. Maybe we need to shoot her in the leg for her to go away.

"So Anthony is Nova your girlfriend girlfriend or just your girlfriend?"

Emily asked. Nova's head shot up from my phone. She was about to respond but Anthony beat her to it.

"If Nova kills you are you dead dead or just not breathing"

That seem to answer her question. One of her goons walked up to her and whispered something in her ears. She smirked at us then walked away.

"Thank God she left. The smell if fish was killing me"

Silas as out of no where. I wonder is it her ass or her pussy. Either way that ain't it chief.

As we were talking my favorite song little booty's matter came on. This ain't no regular little booty though. This is Le'Bootè.

Nova and I got up and went to dance. I felt someone's hands come around my waist and I instantly froze. This isn't Silas.

I turned around only to be meet with Mark. I kneed him in the dick and walked away. Silas was too busy stuffing down shrimp to realise what had happen. Since it wasn't a big deal I didn't bother him about it.

I looked around trying to find Nova since she left seconds before Mark came. I spotted her at the food table filling her plate and stuffing some candy in her bag. I've taught her well.

While Nova as clearing out the table Anthony was twerking on the dance floor while Silas was just videotaping him for blackmail purposes. I'm guessing Anthony is already drunk.

The music stopped causing everyone to groan. This is the sixth time the music stopped in five mintues. We need a new dj.

"It's time to announce your homecoming prince and princess along with the king and queen"

All the girls ran up to the stage while the guys stayed seated. The teachers and principal had to nominate people as the winners since they didn't trust Emily. She put her name for prom queen about one thousand times.

"Your homecoming Prince and princess is Mr.Anthony and Ms.Nova"

Silas and I screamed and started clapping like maniacs as they got up to receive their sash and crowns. They got on stage and stopped for pictures.

Turns out the winners gets money as a thanks for attending the event and winning something. Anthony opened the envelope and immediately announced he's buying food with his money.

"And your homecoming king and queen is Mr. Silas and Ms.Emily"

Everyone stopped mid clap. They stared at me like I was a ticking time bomb. I was fine with it until Emily walked up to Silas and pushed me aside.

"I'm sorry everyone there was a mistake. Homecoming queen is Ms.Nevaeh"

Everyone sighed in relief and started clapping. I pushed Emily out the way and took a hold of MY man.

After we got our money and sash we left the stage. I was about to talk to Silas but his phone ringed. A picture of his grandma popped up.

"She's watching the kids so I have to take it I'll be back in a minute"

Ten minutes passed and he still wasn't back yet. I didn't think it was a problem until thirty mintues passed. I got up and went to look for him.

I looked everywhere but he was no where to be seen. I was about to head back in the dinner hall when I heard banging on a door. I went up to it and yanked open the door.

I gasped as I saw Emily pinned up to the wall with Silas hovering over her. He pulled away from her and looked me in the eyes.

"Neaveh I..."

Before he could finish I was already half way down the hall. I heard his loud footsteps following after me as I entered the hall.

"Anthony can you please take me to my parent's house?"

I asked as I wiped the tears running down my face. He didn't ask me any questions. He told Nova he'll be back  then took his keys. I followed him to his car with sadness written all over my face.
