Some weepy girl
Or angry girl
Or entitled girl
You don't listen to it

Just another feminist poem
You don't need to hear
About how she went to sleep
Age 7
Holding a magic wand
And a knife under her pillow
Because she swore
That if he came near her again
She wouldn't let him leave
Unless he was bleeding too

About how after he was done with her
She tried to tell people
But she was told again and again
"You don't want to ruin his future
Besides, you were asking for it

And how she had to see him
Walk away with another girl her age

Brought a friend for a sleepover
And that he crept into her room
Whispered threats in her ear
And slinked away before dawn
But she could feel her skin crawling
When he flashed a smile at her
