I wanted to do something different here at first but that changed after I decided to make it multi chapters. So maybe I will upload that another time. It's a hearing impaired Joel and mute Ellie.

Summary: Oliver and Slade being together in those 3 years on the island after the boat exploded. Mostly because Slade saw that something was wrong with the story and wanted to hear more. But also because he knew that Oliver wouldn't betray him. So he began to ask when they were back on land. But also some time after the island and them getting closer together but also just playing around as a vigilante. But also them just being together.

Some major bashing in here. Sorry Laurel and Sarah fans. Just me wanting to bash someone in the last chapter. Read at your own risk! also small change of Iris and Barry being together and I think I messed up the timeline...Meh doesn't matter that much.

Oliver and Slade being together had started way before Sarah came to the island and somewhat after Shado had joined their team. They had been trying to figure out if they liked Shado and were jealous of each other or if they were jealous of Shado and liked each other. IN the end they came to know that they all three liked each other. It was something they hadn't really expected and because of this they had been trying to get used to it. But when Sarah came they finally figured out that Shado had in fact not really fallen for guys and she had just been alone trying to get someone.

Because of this Slade and Oliver got together in secret when Sarah was with them. It had been something they had wanted to keep a secret because they didn't want an ex to know about it. What they didn't know however was that Sarah would be jealous of their friendship and that was something that hit Oliver a lot. Because that would also explain a lot why Sarah had wanted to be together with him when he was still with his sister.

When Slade had 'died' Sarah had been trying to replace Slade almost instantly. And yes she had even try to take advantage of Oliver when he was in an emotional state. However when Shado died Oliver knew something had to change especially when Sarah began to say that Slade would not be himself after the thing. But Oliver could see that Slade was reacting to him the best way. IT was something that he knew was a lie for a little while until he had cracked with the man trying to accuse him of killing Shado. He had turned to Slade and told him that yes he had jumped in front of Sarah. But it was out of instinct. If he had to choose he would have chosen Shado. But it felt like he should first choose himself and that had been the whole reason he had jumped in front of Sarah. because he had been willing to die.

But when that didn't happen and he knew what his actions had meant he knew that he should have let Sarah die. But that was something that came after and when he came back he knew that something had been up about the story that Sarah had been telling. In the end they were all fouled by Sarah because she had been fouling them into thinking they had been okay and been friends. What they didn't know was that she was fouling them in a way of getting off the island. Ivo however would never let them off the island. Because of this they would be on the island for 3 years more.

Yes Oliver would go to Hong Kong and come back stronger and more broken. But that didn't mean that they didn't begin to see the island as their home. It was something they got so used to that when the chance of going home was something that they didn't know they should do.

In the end they did accept and it was something they had been happy with to do because that way they could help the city in a way only vigilantes could do. Moira had not been happy at first about the fact that Oliver was with a man when she first heard it from the doctor. Until she walked into the hospital room and found Oliver and Slade cuddling and looking outside looking peaceful. She had sort of accepted them.

What she didn't know was that Thea and Walter would even be happier than ever for them because they felt like it was a way out of Moira thinking she had something to say about them. When Tommy found out he basically blurted out that he and Laurel were together because he saw how happy Slade and Oliver were. Oliver had accepted it when he found out how they got together. It took them a while and he looked back a lot and saw the looks between them. He also was happy that Tommy had been there for Thea while he was 'dead'

When he found out later that Laurel wasn't too happy with him for seemingly getting over her so fast he decided it would be better to give her a visit. It was something he really needed to do because even though he knew that they could never get back together because he was happy with Slade. He also knew that he should let her know that things had changed.

So he had walked to her home with Slade by his side while also going with his new bodyguard. Because his mum thought it was a good idea to bring him in because he had been kidnapped. Yes it was something that didn't really need to happen but he did know that it would be something his mom liked. So he allowed it. Even though Slade could help them better. In the end they both had been needed when Laurel had been attacked. Yes they did have a talk but not the talk about being an ex.

Because of this Oliver had invited her to his home to discuss it for once and for all. Also with Tommy. Because yeah maybe he had been jealous for a little bit when he came home and came to know his friend was together with his ex he also knew that his friend had wanted to be there for Laurel in a hard time.

When they had been talking Laurel had asked about them being together and why Oliver had never told her he was bisexual. Oliver and Tommy had looked at each other before looking back at Laurel before telling her that he had been with men before her and that he hadn't really been all that secret about him being bi. Yes it was hard to miss when you weren't around him a lot. But he wasn't really that crazy about it.

When he had told her that he and Slade were happily together she had looked heart broken and Oliver had told her that she had Tommy and if she didn't realize that she had him as her man then they shouldn't be together. Yes he was happy that they were together but for Oliver it felt more like a revenge thing. Especially when Laurel told him that they had just been together while Tommy had told them they had been together since he had been 2 years on the island. When confronted about this she had said that she had been waiting for a better man.

Because of this Tommy had told her to leave them alone that he was done with her fake ass. When walking away she had told them that he would get someone else because she had the right to do that. What she didn't know was that Oliver and Slade would get Tommy in their group to help them with vigilante stuff but also to help him get a new and better girlfriend. yes it was something that could be hard after a rough break up. But that didn't mean that they weren't ready to help a friend. Even Thea had helped Tommy get a new girlfriend.

Yes in the end Tommy got a new girlfriend and they were happy. He did warn her about his ex that was a lawyer and thought that he would be jealous of her at some point. But his new girlfriend had told him that she was okay with a man protecting her. Yes it would be harder but she was happy to be together.

In the end when all the shit happened because of Malcolm they had been ready and they were happily there for everyone that needed the help. They did get thrown outside because of this. But Oliver and Tommy had been ready and had been getting money from them for a little while now because they had felt like their parents weren't there for them when they needed it the most.

Thea had followed them when she was ready to leave that toxic place and they had followed Barry when they found out where he lived and he had gotten powers. They had wanted to help a city but they could also see that sometimes something wasn't worth fighting for anymore and because of this they began to change a lot along the way. When it was almost 5 years after they came back Oliver and Slade married each other along with Barry and Caitlin. They also went to live all together in a big home because they deserved it the most. Those things that would happen in the future changed a lot when Slade and Oliver talked about the thing all those years ago. But it was for the better.
