Summary: Slade and Shado figuring out what happened to Oliver and how he got to the island and how it affected him. Starting with angst and then some fluff.

Oliver, Slade and Shado had been sitting together on a post watching the people below them for a while now. They had started doing this since the morning and hadn't really found some new stuff out and Oliver was getting a bit bruised from only sitting in the three. But he also knew that he shouldn't move otherwise they could get spotted and he really didn't want that to happen. SO he was just sitting as still as he could.

When a man stepped forward with a calendar. Sort of as a way to remind soldiers how long they were there but also with how long something could maybe last for. Or when some of them could go home. However the moment he said what date it was Oliver was transported back to when he had last looked at the tv and seen the date.

It meant that he had been on the island now for almost 2 years and that did something to a man. Especially with the way he had changed but also with what and who he had gained. But at the same time it felt like he was punched in the gut with the way his mind was like. Hey you now remembered how long it has been, do you remember your family and stuff? Because what if they don't remember you or worse what if they do and think you are dead and this is basically his death day.

What he however doesn't know is that Slade and Shado had been watching his reaction all this time. Mostly because they thought that he would maybe react badly but also because they wanted to know more of when he came to the island and what happened before that. When they saw his reaction however to the date they both knew that this must have been the date.

So they began to plan on how they could get away here and maybe cuddle with him to feel better but also try and figure out what they could do for him. But they also were looking at Oliver to make sure he was somewhat okay and not an overly bad reaction would happen to him while he was freaking out.

But they had to finish this stuff up. So Slade grabbed Oliver his arm and when Oliver looked at him he crossed his arms in a cross as a way to say that the mission was over. When Oliver saw that they could see Oliver visibly relieve himself a little bit.

(Time skip to when they get back to the plane)

When they walk in Oliver walks to his cot and falls on it with his face down and takes his time just breathing a little bit. Slade sits down opposite of him and smiles a little when Olive peeks through his arms up at him. "Hey buddy." Oliver grins a bit at that.

They never really said anything about their relationship. But it sometimes felt like they were together but sometimes it would also feel a bit like Oliver was their little brother. Which was something they were happy about. Especially Oliver because he needed it a lot when he came on the island and met them.

Shado sits down next to Slade and alao smiles a little. Before standing up and sitting down by Oliver's head. He turns around so that he is laying on his back and smiles up at her when she leans over him to cradle his head. She places his head in her lap and begins to play with his hair. While Slade grins a bit at the side. His grin only widens when Oliver rolls into his side so that he is watching Oliver but still laying somewhat peacefully in Shado's lap.

He only sits down on the cot when he sees that Olover is closing his eyes a bit and there is a bit more time in between. He places Oliver's legs on his lap and places his hand on his leg. It's Slade's way to reassure Oliver that they are there for him and nothing will happen to him.

This is also true for a long time. Even though it will be hard on the island all three of them survive in the end. And when Slade looks back on the 5 years on the island while he is cradling Oliver against his chest he knows that he would not change anything if he would get that chance. Because he knows that it was meant to happen.
