You're Best When You're Happy {Spongebob x Sandy}

Hey everyone. I know I've put this story on hold for a long time now. But I'm going to bring it back, and better than ever. I figured since everyone loved the first song-fic I made, I'd make another. So sit back and grab some popcorn, cuz it's going to be kind of intense. If you have problems with sad stories, or suicide, please skip this one-shot.

Hey brother, there's an endless road to rediscover...

She sat there, crying her beautiful ocean-like eyes out. Her brown fur a tangled, wet mess from the tears she had spilled. "I can't do this anymore..." She got up, putting her suit and helmet on, walking out of the tree dome she called her home.

Hey sister, know the water's sweet but blood is thicker...

He sat there, wishing what could've been, and what he could've done to save her. "I can't do this anymore..." He got up, putting on his Krusty Krab uniform hat, and walked out of the pineapple he called home.

Ooh, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do...

She walked over to the Krusty Krab to grab a bite to eat, forgetting who would be there. He looked her, and instantly his heart broke in two. "Sandy..." He whispered her name but she heard. "SpongeBob..." She said back. He dropped the Krabby Patty he was cooking for another customer. Of course that was money that would be taken out of his paycheck, but right at this moment, he didn't care.

What if I'm far from home? Well, brother, I will hear your call. What if I lose it all? Well, sister, I will help you out...

He ran out to hug her, to embrace her once more in his skinny arms. But she pushed him aside, her eyes filling with tears again. "How could you?!" She screamed, hot, salty tears trickling down her face. "I didn't mean it... I regret it everyday..." He replied, tears starting to run down his own face. She picked him up off the floor, slapped him across the face, and kissed him square on the lips. "I hate you," she whispered. "I love you too..." He replied, letting her go.

Ooh, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do...

She ran. He ran. To the edge they went. To the tree they knew only too well. Two pieces of rope, from broken tire swings, were left on the tree.

Hey brother, there's an endless road to rediscover...

She looked at the ropes and then at him. "Regret filled my heart when I uttered those words that day..." You could've picked someone with more finesse. Now look at you, you dumb girl, crying on the floor like a weakling. Don't you understand by now that love is only a fairytale?! "...I still love you..."

Hey sister, do you still believe in love, I wonder...

She shook her head. "You can't take back something from the past..."

Ooh, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do...

He replied to her, "I'm sorry... I didn't mean it..."

What if I'm far from home? Well, brother, I will hear your call. What if I lose it all? Well, sister, I will help you out...

She climbed the tree and perched up on a branch, being as nimble and quick as her body would let her. He climbed the tree with much effort and difficulty, but still managed to sit right next to her. They both looked at each other and kissed, sending sparks soaring through the air like on the night of a Fourth Of July celebration. Though it was short lived, they both smiled, tears streaming down their faces.

Ooh, if the sky comes falling down, for you, there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do...

They both stared at each other for another moment before kissing again, holding each other close like they always used to. "...Please, stay..." She shook her head. "I love you, but you know you can be stubborn at times..." She laughed a bit, but soon it faded to crying, as she lowered herself down to the edge of the branch. He did so too.

They both grabbed the ropes and put them over their heads. They looked deep into their eyes for the very last time, smiling at each other. "I love you," he said. "I loved you too," she replied, as they both jumped at the same time...
