Misunderstood
This is probably a mistake, Anti thought as he shoved the knife towards Jackaboy-Man with enough force to send it flying towards him across the floor, hoping that he'd be wrong for once.
He wasn't.
Hellbent on revenge, Jackaboy-Man took the knife from the floor and moved to stab Anti without hesitation, eyes blazing with a rage that Anti had never seen before.
It scared him a lot.
Dark and his colleagues only watched in mild surprise as Jackaboy-Man charged towards Anti and moved in for the kill.
"Jackaboy-Man stop!" Sean commanded, causing the hero's attention to turn towards him.
Anti breathed out a small sigh of relief, the tip of the knife frozen centimeters from his neck.
"Free us, we'll deal with Anti later." Sean directed in a steely tone.
Jackaboy-Man glared at Anti for a moment before moving to free the Marvin first by slicing him free from his cape.
Marvin fell to the ground with a soft grunt before finding his cards tossed away in the corner of the room, hastily scooping them up before throwing down a card that created a shield around him as he freed the others.
"Yay, Robbie free!" Robbie cheered once he was free from his shackles.
"The narrator continues to tell of Sean and his friends' freedom from their personal prisons before the heroes return focus to the enemy." The Host muttered to himself, his voice too quiet for anyone to hear.
"Come at me bitches!" Chase dared the opposing egos confidently, his confidence quickly fading when Warfstache pointed a gun at his face.
Sean elbowed Warfstache in the back of the head from behind, causing him to drop the gun so Sean could scoop it up.
He paused when he saw Chase looking at the gun, his instincts knowing what to do.
"Catch!" Sean called out as he tossed Chase the pistol.
Chase eagerly caught it with one hand, a wide grin spreading across his face as he moved to behind fighting off Dr. Iplier and Google simultaneously.
Jackaboy-Man and Anti were fighting back to back, Anti facing Dark and Jackaboy-Man facing Silver Shepherd.
"I'm a much stronger demon than you, your anger is pitiful." Dark taunted, his fist locked in Anti's hand as Anti fought to push him away.
"What can I say, I'm all about PMA." Anti replied, his face a mask of grim determination as he managed to kick Dark behind the knees and make him fall to the floor.
Meanwhile, Marvin was locked in combat with Warfstache, who was now armed with his own knife, and Yandere.
Jameson had already managed to distract Bim by creating an illusion of Matthias in a separate room while taking on the Host.
Robbie and the king simply talked in the corner of the room, seemingly unaware of the fight around them.
Schneep had to fight off Dr. Iplier while he chased after him with a syringe filled with a deadly looking liquid.
Everything froze when Mark opened the door.
"The fuck?!" Mark exclaimed in disbelief, slamming the door shut behind him.
"Sean? What's happening?" Mark asked with a frown, moving past the egos to reach him.
"How did you find us?" Dark demanded furiously as he stormed over to Mark.
Wordlessly, Mark retrieved his phone and showed him a video a fan of his had sent him on Twitter, the fighting clearly visible through the windows.
"Why are you okay with them Mark? They're all fucking psycho!" Chase interjected.
"I never said I was okay with their existence, but I can't do shit about it either." Mark huffed in exasperation.
"After I had returned from my space expedition I was drugged and forced to be a test subject for an idea the government had after learning from the mistakes made in Europe...apparently they didn't learn well enough." Mark remarked as he viewed the carnage.
"No offense, but why you?" Sean cut in.
"Because my personality is so diverse and I had already "created" them in my videos, kind of like you." Mark explained.
"Enough talk!" Dark barked impatiently, swiftly taking Warfstache's gun from Chase and pointing it at Mark.
"You can't kill me without killing yourself." Mark pointed out with a cocky grin.
"How so?" Dark countered, undeterred nonetheless.
"You're all a part of me, and vice versa I'm a part of all of you." Mark stated with a shrug.
Dark scowled as he tossed the gun away, hands balled into fists at his side.
"What was the point of all this anyway Dark? What do you hope to gain?" Mark prompted his inner demon, sounding sincerely curious.
"I hated feeling like I didn't belong, like no one cares about me...I just wanted to make the world a perfect place for all of us to feel like we have somewhere we fit in without having to hide." Dark sighed as he gestured at the egos around him, including all of Sean's.
"It'll be okay, we can come up with a better solution." Sean chimed in.
"Yeah, we can work through it together." Anti offered Dark, extending a hand towards him.
"You...you forgive me still after all I've done?" Dark frowned in confusion, eyeing him warily.
"That's what team Positive Mental Attitude is all about." Anti jokes lightly with a wide grin that didn't look creepy for once.
Dark hesitated before shaking Anti's hand, caught off guard when he was pulled into a hug by the other demon.
"Thank you." Dark whispered, relaxing into Anti's embrace as Sean and Mark debated how to move forward.
In the end, Sean, Signe, and his egos went home while Mark left his egos alone by returning home, making sure to remember the address so he could visit.
The two sets of egos would often meet when either Marvin or Jameson teleported their crew to the others, allowing them all to grow closer and forget the fighting completely.
Even though Sean and Mark had split personalities, they made it all work despite the daunting effort they knew it would take.
Any honest opinions?
