Ilythyrria is a land that many might describe as ethereal; they are a people who are greatly connected with their spiritualities, the concepts of fate, destiny, fortune, and doom. The general feelings of most of its civilians is that they can find calmness, come what may, as they are all a part of something greater. Many still worship the Lord of Light Ynos, and the Lordess of Fate, Yktia. The civilians find immense beauty in harmony and what makes them flow together, making water a sacred object.

Ilythyrrians enjoy a breezy, spring like climate all year round. It is littered with tiny towns along its flat terrain, aside from the dense forest that comes in the north. Travelers to this region describe the experience as that of one with serenity and often spiritual enlightenment. The grace is evergreen, and the air billows a sweet salty flavor from the sea. Ilythyrria has an incredible Naval Force in the south And visiting its beaches can be described as a 'right of passage' for most who live there.

Ilythyrria rules over the territory of the republic of susurmaa, many of which its inhabitants make up its navy. To their east is the most dangerous mountain range in all of the united empires; it's as vast as a nation itself, and few dare to tread in its path which would assure nearly certain death. They believe this area is governed by the Lord of dark, Edon.

As history goes, Ilythyrria would have you believe that Votara is responsible for sending human sacrifices into the Edon Mountains, which resulted coincidentally with the worst crop harvest year in all of their history and a famine; though, this is speculatory and unconfirmed. They believe that the split war of 1889 began due to Votaras deep seeded desire to prove military prowess and testing weaponry along their border. However, tumultuous relations can be dated back for centuries.

The selection is being held is the neutral territory of Pioltia, The only country that borders both Votara and Ilythyrria, marked by the black circle.
