Please Come Back

I arrived at my friends house. I really didn't want to answer her questions or else it would've gotten me locked up somewhere. Really, the situation sounded absolutely insane. Your boyfriend splitting into two? Yeah, right. I sat all my things in the guest bedroom and sat on the bed. I really wanted to call the Michael's to see if they were okay, but I couldn't. They needed to understand that they needed to shape up. And I definitely wasn't gonna go back. I was hurt. Not only physically, but mentally. If only he didn't do this in the first place, we could've been okay. I started to feel like it was my fault. Maybe I hadn't shown my appreciation for him enough, or told him that I loved him just the way he was. I needed them to get back together, but how? The mirror was broken by Bad, what the hell is that thing anyway?! My mind was going in circles, but I just wanted so desperately to call them. I picked up the phone and dialed his number.

"Hello?" Polite Michael answered.

I froze. What was I supposed to say?

"Umm, I'm just checking in on you two. What's happening?" I said.

"You have to come back right now! I'm hiding in a closet! Bad trying to find me and kill me! I told you! He blaming all of this on me! I'm so scared!" He whispered.

I could tell by the sound quality of the phone that he was indeed in a closed space.

"How do you know that he wants to kill you?" I asked, twirling the phone cord between my fingers.

"The last sight I seen of him was him holding a knife, roaming the house and looking for something."

In the background I could hear a door opening and someone saying,"There you are!" And then the line went dead. I got scared I was gonna grab my car keys until the phone started ringing again. I picked it up.

"What did he tell you?" Bad asked.

"Why are you doing looking for him with a damn knife?" I asked.

"I wasn't trying to hurt him. Why would I even do that? He's literally me. I was looking for him for something but not to kill him." Bad explained.

I hung up the phone. I relaxed a little bit. It was late at night already so I just decided to go to sleep. I got under the covers and fell asleep while my friend was still downstairs watching TV. I laid on my left side and continued sleeping. The boys were looking for me. After a few hours, the finally found my friends house.

"Are you sure this is it?" Bad asked.

"Positive, she introduced me to her friend once, I just feel bad that I can't remember her name," Michael responded.

"You have to go," Bad stated.

"Just me? Why?"

"Look at us."

They stared at each other.

"Right, I'll say what happens," Michael got out of the car and went to the front door.

He knocked, my friend answered.

"Yeah she's here, but wouldn't tell me why she had to stay here. What happened?" She asked him.

"Can I just see her? I have some things I need to talk to her about."

"Can't. She told me she didn't want anybody bothering her at all, I respect her wishes."

Michael sighed and nodded. He went back to the car.

"Is she here?" Bad looked at him.

"She doesn't want to see anyone," Michael sighed once more.

"And... you gave up?"

"What am I supposed to do?"

Bad got out of the car this time and knocked on the door.

"I told you she didn't- wait weren't you just wearing different clothes?"

"I have to talk to her. I'm not leaving until I do," Bad crossed his arms.

"Be my guest, wait aaalllll night. You're not getting in this house," my friend crossed her arms too.

"So be it," Bad sat on her top step.

My friend closed the door. She peeped through the peep hole about ten minutes later, Bad didn't move. She thought about letting him in, but at the same time she didn't want me to get mad at her. She didn't want to be in the middle, but we weren't really giving her much of a choice.

She opened the door, "Michael can't you just tell me what happened and I'll let you in."

"A big fight that's none of your business," Bad smiled.

"It became my business the minute she came to my doorstep. Now you're here too trying to get into my house," she argued.

"Fair enough, but you and I both know that there will be a mob here by morning once word gets out that I'm in the neighborhood. It's the middle of the night now but just imagine this whole place just swarmed just because you didn't let me in," Bad rested his head on his hands.

"Okay smartass, I'll just call the cops."

"Call them."

My friend stood there. Bad stood up and stared at her. She glared, sighed, and stepped aside. Bad went in and found my room. He sat on the bed and slowly rubbed my head. I opened my eyes and gave him a dirty look.

"Get out," I growled.

"I'm sorry okay? I don't know how to fix this but please just give me another chance," Bad begged.

"I left for a reason, I can't be around if that's how it's going to be all the time," I sat up.

My friend was listening through the door.

"It won't be that way anymore, I'll try to be better babe I'm so sorry," Bad looked into my eyes.

He was being genuine, I could tell. But I couldn't go back tonight.

"You need to prove it to me Bad."

My friend tilted her head. Bad? Why didn't I just call him by his name? Bad laid next to me.

"I will, I promise."

There was some taps on the window.

I sighed, "Him too?"

Bad got up and opened the window and let Michael inside. He came to the bed and hugged me tightly. He apologized too, and she heard everything. She walked away from my room in complete shock. Two of them? Bad? She sat on her couch and thought about it. She could just go in right now and see, but this was clearly supposed to be secret. Bad caught her attention mainly. He was persistent, she found it cute. But why was he called Bad? I fell asleep, with both of them by my side.
