She wanted to scream, but her throat was clogged.

She had broken that one promise she swore she'd never break.

No tears would be cried over him, yet there she was, 

letting the emotions engulf her like a rolling ocean wave.

She cried more times than he'd ever know.

She felt more pain than he could ever imagine.

And she was beyond exhausted from waiting.

Waiting for him to realise that she deserved more of all the things

 he could never give her, because he was not ready to change

and she couldn't find the strength to leave him.
