Booyah Base

Our first stop was at Cooler Heads. Annie looked as happy as ever. Even Moe couldn't talk her out of it.

"Well if it isn't the little squid runts!" He said as he looked at Tanrine and her group."And I see you've brought more."

"You know? I'm actually gonna miss hearing your stupid tone from over the summer, Moe. You know you're gonna miss us too." Lucas said with a smirk.

"Uh...no I won't. Just hurry up and buy a hat why don't ya? Right, Annie?" Moe asked. Annie wasn't listening to the conversation. Instead, she was daydreaming. She smiled."Everything seems so different now..."

"She's been like this all week and it's all because of that spike tool!"Moe leaned in a bit closer to Lucas and whispered into his ear."That guy's is a real nut job at best..."

Annie then came back to her senses."He's not a nut job! He's just...misunderstood. We both have our differences and don't care what other people think about us!"

Moe had a derp look in his face."Alright, that's it! Annie, I told you not to go back in that alley, but what did you do?"

Annie tried to dodge his question."Go into the back alley..."

"Look Moe, if Annie wants to be with Spyke, then let her. Remember, love wins!" Soup said confidently.

Moe's look turned into an upset one. He started to float to Annie's forehead."Someone catch me!" He said as he jumped,

"Wait..WOAH!"Soup shouted. He caught Moe just in time."Er...can I talk to you for just a moment outside?"Moe asked. Soup was shocked."Uh....

Soup's P.O.V.

I walked outside with a floating clown fish in my hands. The scenery of a torn down Inkopolis was being fixed. The Battle Tower was almost finished. I'm lucky...we're all lucky that the city was saved. Inkopolis is more like a piece that will always remain in my heart.

We're all blessed to have the heroes in our city and I'm glad that I was able to help them out. Maybe being a hybrid...was the best thing that ever happened to me. There's no one I would rather be than me.

Moe looked really upset."So, what'd you want to talk to me about?" I asked.

Moe sighed."It's about Annie. Ever since she's gone into that back alley, I've had feelings that bad things were coming our way. Turns out, the only one who's got the bad luck is me. Annie's fallen in love and I feel like a third wheel. Uh...I shouldn't be talking about this..." Moe flailed his arms which made it hard for me to concentrate. It was actually pretty funny.

"Wha-wha? No, you can tell me. I'm the love expert...heh...So...what does this have to do with Annie? It seems like it's you who has the problem."

"I'm afraid of losing her. Annie's always been there for me even if I have treated her wrong. She's the only friend I have and it's always been like that for a while. She's fallen in love and I feel like if I get in the way, she'll...she'll..."

"She'll what?" I asked. Moe snapped his eyes open and then quickly turned away from me. His voice turned brittle."I'll...lose her forever..."

"Moe..."

"Annie will probably have nothing else to do with me. I'll just have to go and find another anemone I guess..."

"No way!"

"Huh?"

"Moe, Annie loves you too much. She wouldn't just abandon you like that. Of course she'd want you to stay with her. You're the only one that knows her more than anyone else. And I know that she feels the same way about you."

Moe began to smile a bit."Thanks, kid. You know, you're not that bad." I began to laugh."You're not being a clown are you?" I joked.

Moe began laughing as well."Heh...nah, kiddo. Now, let's go back inside. I'm ready to go back home. And promise you won't tell anyone about this, okay?"

"I promise."

Mindy's P.O.V.

Soup came back into the shop with a floating Moe in his hands."Excuse me, Annie." Soup said politely putting the clownfish back on top of her head. Moe did a weak smile and Soup winked.

"This little guy didn't cause you any trouble did he?" Annie asked. Soup shook his head.

"Good clownfish!" Annie smiled as she rubbed Moe's head."I believe that we're done here for today." Soup smiled.

"Well you guys can go on ahead. I'll be in here for a while. So many hats to choose from..." Vadelma beamed.

"I think I need some more gear for battling. I've been working on some mad skills. I guess I'll stay a bit too." said Sharl.

"Thank you all for coming! I hope you enjoyed our latest stock of gear. Please come again!" Annie beamed waving goodbye.

Our next stop was at Jelly Fresh. The lights were turned on this time and since it was sunset, it made things look entirely different.

"Amazed you will be. Come the shop you should see!"

"Hey, Jelonzo!" I beamed.

"Who is that? You've ruined the moment, deary!" Jelonzo asked revealing himself. He looked at me and smiled."Well if it isn't the guest of fashionable honor!" He looked at the rest of us. Jelonzo then was beaming with joy."Tres' magnifique! You've brought more customers! Come come come!"

Taloupe's mouth was gaping open. He whispered to Lucas."Jelonzo's never acted this way before! Something's not right here..."

Lucas smiled."People change for the great or good. Jelonzo has changed for the great!"

"Don't be shy now! To the shopping!" Jelonzo beamed as he happily skipped to a clothing section. I nudged Lucas's arm and whispered."To the shopping, retard." I winked.

Lucas stood there and laughed. Tanrine smirked and snickered. Logan noticed and was puzzled."What's so funny?"

Tanrine smiled."You don't get it do you?" Logan shook his head."Their a couple, ya dummy!" she whispered."It's super adorbs!"

"Just because Mindy winked, doesn't mean their a couple..."said Angelo.

Tanerine made a pouty face. "Gee, I can always count in you to ruin the moment... Now's not the time for this though. It's shopping time, boys!" She smiled pushing them both towards a dressing room.

After a few minutes of searching for fashion wear, I saw something that caught my eye. What was in front of me was a blue and white dress right next to a white hat that was in a shape of a squid and some bubbly shoes.

"What's this?" I asked. Jelonzo smiled."So I see you're interested in the new dress set. That complete set is the Squid Girl outfit. Its cost is at a very high price." I blinked and started to feel depressed."Can I at least try it on?"

"Of course!"

Tanrine was busy searching for some clothes for the boys."Here you go! This should be a perfect fit!"

"Uh...are you sure about this, Tang?" Logan asked."Just try it on..."

Logan was the first one to come out. He was wearing a white inky rider with black sea horses and some shades. Logan was nervous thinking about Tanrine's reaction.

"Whoa...you look like...hip!" Tanrine smiled.

Logan blushed at her compliment."Really? Um...thank you!"he said idiotically. He noticed that he still had his shades on along with his hat."Still...something doesn't feel right about this outfit...'' Logan took off the shades and left his blue hat on top of his head."That's better..."

"Is it me, or does everything you wear go along nicely with your hat? You look even more fresh! I-It's...It's you! It's perfect!" Tanrine beamed.

Angelo stepped out of his dressing room with an aloha logo shirt and was wearing purple high horses. He was till wearing his spooky goggles..."Well...this looks totally random..."Angelo sweat dropped.

"WHY WON'T YOU LET ME SEE YOUR EYES GOSH DARNIT!?" Tanerine moaned. Angelo folded his arms."Cause I don't want to. Was that what this was about?'' Tanerine looked at him sheepishly trying to dodge the question."Not at first..."

Taloupe came out with a black inky rider and was wearing white kicks. Tanerine clapped her hands."Super fresh!"

Meanwhile, I was trying on the Squid Girl outfit. It's been a while since I wore a dress. I can't believe that Jelonzo would let us wear this in turf wars. Another thing I can't believe is that they have this outfit for boys as well...

"TA DA!" I smiled as as I stepped out of the dressing room flaunting my clothes."You guys like?"

"Looks like we've got a model in the station!" Taloupe joked.

"It's just missing one thing..." I said as I pulled out an ink sac. I touched an orange pack which made my hair and my entire outfit orange."Whoa!" I beamed looking at my outfit in awe. I started twirling myself around in it. Lucas couldn't help but smile and blush.

"You look amazing!" he smiled. I blushed."Thanks, Lucas!" Tanrine nudged Angelo's arm."Still think their not a couple now?"

CLING CLING!

"I'm back, guys!" I heard a soft feminine boice in the background."Took you long enough, Marine!"said Angelo.

Two pieces of paper were in Marine's hands. "I was gone for a super important reason..."she said breathless. She quickly hid both of the papers in her side pocket.

"Okay..."Tanrine said awkwardly puzzled. I went back into the dressing room and changed into my original clothes."I guess we'll be on our way! It was good to see you again, Jelonzo!"

"Well vice versa! You're all welcome any time. Please come again!"

Our next stop was at Shrimp Kicks.

"What up, squiddos?!" Crusty Sean smiled."Hey, Sean!" said Marine. Sean was shocked by hearing Marine's upbeat voice.

"Huh, well someone's in a good mood today. Now all we need is that smile!"

"....Don't get your hopes up, Sean..." After Marine said that, Crusty sweatdropped."Uh...you're all welcome to look around for some shoes if you'd like!"

No one really found any shoes except for Lucas and Marine. They both found a pair of high horses. Lucas had red and Marine had gold. Marine's shoes were shining from the lighting in the room.

"Marine, I've got one question for you." Lucas said pointing at Marine's shoes.

"WHAT'RE THOOOOOSSSE?!"

Marine chuckled a little."You're the kind of guy that uses puns a lot am I right?"

Marine and Lucas both paid for their shoes."Yeah, you're gonna have to get used to it."

"Thank you for coming, my homies! Come on back again soon!" Sean beamed.

Our last stop was at the Weapon shop...

Oh joy...

Well...maybe Sheldon will have something new. I'll just have to wait and see. We all entered the shop. The lights were off...again...

Like I said, oh joy...

Lucas was ready for whatever outcome was coming next. Sheldon could be anywhere...and I mean anywhere...

SWOOSH!

"OH CRAP! GET HIM OFF OF ME! SOMEBODY GET THIS CRAZY MAN OFF OF ME!" Taloupe shouted. Sheldon landed on top of him.

Taloupe started spinning and twisting like crazy trying to get him off. Sheldon's hat fell off and landed beside Tanrine.

She picked up the hat and looked at Sheldon shocked. Well...we all did actually."S-SHELDON YOU'RE BALD?!"

"Of course! Why do you think I always have that hat on top of my head?" Sheldon asked jumping off of Taloupe. Tanrine looked down at his hat. She was holding it upside down.

"Dear god..."Tanrine said as she dropped the hat. She put her hands over her head and was completely worried."I'm gonna have nightmares now..."

"What're you looking at, Taner-?" Angelo asked.

"It's better if you didn't find out..." said Sheldon quickly cutting him off. Tanerine gave the hat back to him.

"Oh please don't do that again, Sheldon!" Taloupe said terrified.

"Oh you'll get over it. That's just the pace that gets you feeling pumped. Now come on! New weapons are in stock!" Sheldon smiled.

Taloupe looked at him with a 'wtf' face as Sheldon walked off. We walked over to a table.

"Ready?" Sheldon asked. We all nodded our heads."Good! Now this..."he said as he pulled out a...bucket."is a bucket!"

We all were staring at it loss for words. Lucas blinked."Dear god..."

"But there's more!"

"No..."

"This big baby is what I like to call, the Splatling!" Sheldon smiled."You have to pressurize the ink and then-DAKADAKADAKADAKADAKADAKADAKA!"

"Whoa!" I said excitedly.

Lucas had a big grin on his face."So what exactly do you mean by 'pressurize the ink'?"

SMACK!

"You're seriously doing that now?" I asked folding my arms.

"What? I just asked a simple question!"

"It was more than simple and you know it."

"So...do you guys want them?" Sheldon asked."Yes!" I said in a booming voice reaching for the Splatling."GIMME GIMME GIMME!"

"I feel sorry for the parents who don't have enough money to buy their kids a real weapon....I need that bucket in my life!" Lucas beamed.

"I heard that buckets are the new op weapons, so I'll give it a go as well." said Marine.

Me, Marine, and Lucas bought a bucket. And my lucky self bought a Splatling.

It's time to get crazy with this thing...

"I'm very glad you all came back before school starts. I don't think I'll get many customers like I did this summer." said Sheldon."You can come back anytime!"

"Thanks for everything, Sheldon!" I smiled. I was struggling to carry the heavy machine gun.

"I could give you a strap bag if you'd like."

"Oh thanks, Sheldon!" I said relieved.

After Sheldon gave me a bag, we all left the shop. This last day of summer wad going pretty smoothly. Now all that's left is our turf war and I'm gonna make sure I enjoy every single moment of it!

WOO HOO! I FINALLY HAD TIME TO DO THIS CHAPTER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER!

You guys just don't know how happy I was yo finish this! The struggle was real I tell you! I've gone from using my phone to using a computer at school, and just going back to editing on my phone at school with my free time!

(Thank you 5th period!)

Enough about the struggle! What'd you guys think of the chapter? Was it worth the wait? What am I saying? Of course it was!
