"C'mon you guys! Time is of the essence!"Neveah beamed. "You got that saying from Ms. Pearl didn't you?"Evan asked. Throughout the whole week; and this morning, Ms. Pearl would tell us that if we weren't paying attention, or slacking off. Now, everyone in my class has been going around the school saying that to each other when they're in a rush. 

"RILEY RILEY RILEY!"Neveah shouted into the hallway. Her voice was loud, that some squids decided to open the doors to see what was going on, but Neveah didn't seem to care. Octavia decided to stay in her room and change instead of following us around the hotel like we were crazy. We soon made it to my dorm room.

Riley's P.O.V.

I was in the kitchen practicing my cooking skills. I noticed that Soup hadn't really been saying much today. He was on his phone looking at his text messages from Mindy probably trying to take another shot at trolling her.

"Um...you've been awfully quiet today. You okay?" I asked. Soup nodded."Everything's so clear now..." His eyes were turned into hearts.

Like...how is that possible?

"Somebody's hooked on a feeling! I can totally tell. I ship you and Cyanthia so hard."Soup smiled and that's when I heard a knock on the door.

KNOCK KNOCK!

I heard a girly voice that sounds like Neveah."RILEY, WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER SPLATFEST! IT'S ART VS. SCIENCE!"Neveah shouted. Soup continued texting. I don't think he heard what Neveah said. 

S: Mindy, Riley keeps saying that i'm hooked on a feeling.

M: Well it's about time! I thought I'd never see the day...

S:☺️

M: So, who is it?!

S: Her name is Cyanthia.

M: .........

S: What's with the dots, Minds?

M: C-Cyanthia?!

S: Yeah, is there a problem with that?

M: Soup, trust me...this is a bad idea!

S:?

M: That girl is toxic! She may seem to be a goody-goody now, but underneath all that, she's just ice cold. I think that's why they call her the Ice Queen!

S: Have you ever talked her?

M: ...Well no, but I know more about her than you do. She's an exchange student from Shell City. I know her because she then moved again to Squidville.

Shell City is a place that's not very far from Inkopolis. It's a place that's similar to Splat Shores, but with less...stores.

S: Have you tried giving her a chance?

M: No, and I'm not going to. If the rumors are true about what people say, then I'm gonna stay away from her. Trust me. That girl is bad news. I've seen a couple of people that have been heart broken because of her.

As soon as Soup read that last message, Neveah came into the room."Is big bro here?"she asked. Soup then stood up."I'm here, sis. I'm gonna go get ready."

Soup walked back into his room to get ready for the party.

"I still can't believe that I messed everything up."Octavia sighed.

"Actually, I think I have something that'll help you get back on track."Lucas said. He then went into his room and grabbed a small booklet. It was the lost, but now found pages of the Sunken Scrolls. Octavia's eyes snapped open in shock.

"You...you're really giving this to me? I can't take this-"

Lucas nodded his head."Go ahead. You need it more than I do. But you have to give it back when you're done with it. The Sunken Scrolls belong to Sheldon."

"I understand. I'll get back to work after the Splatfest."Octavia smiled."See you guys in a little while." She then walked back to her dorm room.

We all got ready for the Splatfest. I wondered who was going to win this time.

-Time Skip-
Before the Splatfest

Everyone had a Splatfest tee this time. I was the last one to get finished. "C'mon, Riley! We're gonna be late! The others are already there!"

I stepped out of my room and was ready to leave. Soup was standing at the front door waiting on me."How do I look?" I asked.

Soup looked at me up and down. He began to blush as he saw that I had on a Squid Hairclip, my Splat tee, and blue moto boots. I think this is the first time he's seen me without my bobble hat.

"So hot..."he mumbled.

"What?"

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Orange and purple fireworks were being lit up and shot in the sky."Time go!"Soup shouted as he grabbed my hand forcing me to follow him.

"Slow down will you?!"

After the Splatfest

After the Splatfest, some people decided to head home. Mindy managed to make it. I noticed that Soup was talking to someone with purple hair. It was none other than Cyanthia. Soup was asking me to come over to where he was and help him out a bit.

"And this is my friend, Riley!" Soup told Cyanthia."Well nice to meet you, Riley."

"You guys were pretty great out there too!"Soup beamed. Riley blushed."R-Really?!"

"Yeah! I can't believe both of you managed to reach Art Queen!"

The Squid Sisters were announcing the winners of tonight's Splatfest."I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna go get a closer look at the results."

As soon as Soup left, Cyanthia tapped my shoulder."He's not lying you know!"

"Excuse me?"

"About the win tonight. It was a pretty close call, but I guess we both managed to win." Cyanthia looked back at Soup."Soup seemed really impressed. It's pretty obvious that you like him. That little reaction of yours said a lot."

My eyes snapped open in shock."I...no I don't."

Cyanthia then chuckled."Okay, then I don't think you mind if I'd ask him out do you?"

I stood there like an idiot not knowing what else to say.

"AND THE WINNER OF TONIGHT'S SPLATFEST IS....TEAM ART!"Callie shouted.

Everyone on team art was cheering on for tonight's victory. Everyone on the science team were booing the art team. Some of them had stone-cold looks while clapping slowly.

"You only won becaue some of us had jobs to do." Carie argued.

"Gee Marie, that was a bit uncalled for."said Callie.

"You all remember to....STAY FRESH!" They both cheered.

Another chapter done! I was in a bit of a rush with this one. I think there's gonna be a rivalry between Riley and Cyanthia!
