Riley's P.O.V.

I heard a soft-spoken voice at the door. "Hello? Is this the apartment of...Octavia Swish?"

All of us inside the room panicked. Mindy shook her head and fast."Don't answer!"Mindy whispered loud enough that Evan could hear her clearly.

"Ah! That sounds like Cenede!" I gasped.

"What're we gonna do you guys? We're screwed!" Lucas said. Mindy searched around the room for a hiding spot. The window was open and led to the balcony. Thank goodness we're on the top floor!"I've got an idea!" Mindy said confidently. "C'mon, you three!"She told us dragging me, Lucas, and Soup along with her.

"This plan better work, Mindy."said Soup."It's gonna work...maybe...Riley, I need you to use your fashion sense."

"Uh...sure..." I answered idiotically. When it comes to situations like this, Mindy would always do her quick thinking. Sometimes when I'm in situations like this, I'm not the best at working under pressure. "Soup, I need you to help Riley find whatever pair of clothes Octavia has in her closet."

"What the-- We're not...stripping her are we?!" Soup asked."Of course not! That'd be weird!" Mindy exclaimed."Lucas, I need you on guard duty!"

"Well, what're you gonna do?" Lucas asked."I'm gonna help make sure Evan doesn't mess up and open the door for Cenede. You two have to make sure that Octavia's wearing the perfect dress attire for autumn. Nevaeh's going to carry Octavia outside and put her on the chair. Make it look like she's sleeping outside on the balcony."

Mindy walked over to the door without making a single sound. Lucas walked over to the balcony to make sure no one was outside. Me and Soup looked inside her closet. While Nevaeh was busy carrying the fainted Octarian.

"This is so wrong! What'll Octavia say when she wakes back up? We can't just go through someone's closet like this!"

"Would you rather go to jail or not?" I asked as a rhetorical question."If we do go to jail, you'll be thinking about what would've happened if we just dug into someone's private belongings. DIG MISTER!"I demanded.

Soup blinked and grabbed a random jacket and sighed."Alright, but I know that something about this plan is gonna reek of failure."

I found a black hat and a rainbow scarf. I put the two pieces of clothing on. Soup noticed a resemblance and laughed."Oh now you want to act childish! You look like the 4th doctor!"

I nodded my head."Well of course! What's the point of growing up if you can't be childish sometimes?" I smiled. "Yeah, that's true!" Soup beamed. We eventually found some decent clothes for Octavia. We walked over to her and put a Squid beret and a green hoodie on her. Mindy walked over to where me, Lucas and Soup were.

"Well?" Soup asked her. Mindy looked at me and I smiled."PERFECT!"We said simultaneously.

"The plan is going smoothly. I'm going to help Evan!"Mindy said as she walked off. Me and Soup high fived each other."NGYES! Told you everything was gonna turn out alright!"Soup joked with a devious smirk to come with it.

"Shut up! That was clearly me who said it!"

"I'm gonna help clean up Octavia's mess. Don't get to caught up in that 4th doctor costume. It looks cute on you!" Soup smiled. He then headed back into the dorm room.

I stood there like a complete idiot and blushed. Lucas laughed."Well I'd never thought I'd see the day. You and Soup have been getting along with each other pretty well lately."

"What? Er...no! We're just...acquaintances, alright?"I asked.

"Okay, so you're telling me that the boy who you had to stay with a few days...maybe weeks, found out your biggest fear, had a besties night out with you, and danced with you at the Splatfest last night is your acquaintance?"

I quickly thought about what he meant by 'my biggest fear'. I turned around."What are you talking about him finding out my 'biggest fear'?" I asked.

Lucas hesitated and sweatdropped. I crossed my arms."Is there something you're not telling me?" I asked.

"O...kay...Soup may or...may not have told me about what happened when me and Mindy were gone..." Lucas mumbled.

"Did you tell anyone else?"

"No..."Lucas said slowly tilting his eyes to the left.

"You're lying! Who'd you tell?!"

"Um...I kinda told Mindy too." Lucas answered. "Oh, she knows that already." I said relieved. Mindy was my bestie who would usually tell me everything.

"Okay, so Soup is my friend. So what?" I asked.

"Oh I don't think you're just his friend, Riley. I think that you wish that you two were more than friends. I saw the way he looked at you and your reaction when he said that you're 4th doctor costume looked good on you...You like him don't you, Riley?"Lucas asked with a smirk.

My face became cherry red. "I swear if you tell anyone, you're so dead! You're lucky that I love you and I haven't punched you yet, Lucas!"

"Maybe I should do the same thing you did when...oh I don't know...almost told Mindy that I was in love with her!"

"But you two are together now! This isn't funny, Lucas!"

"Yeah...you're right...it's hilarious!" Lucas chuckled."What's going on with you today, Lucas? This is really important decision to me. Could you at least try not to make a joke out of it like you always do?" I asked. Lucas's smile was a smile no longer. He sighed."I--"

"Just let her in, Evan!"said Mindy. "Are you sure?" Evan asked. Mindy nodded. Evan opened the door and fast.

"WOOMY!" Cenede shouted. Her woomy made it seem like she was in pain. Evan peeked out the door and had a shocked look on his face."OH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY!"

Cenede looked at him with a frown on her face. She was also holding her nose."It's...It's okay. I'm okay. Why would you do that?!?!"

"Jeez, I said I--"

Cenede opened her eyes at that exact moment. Evan was shocked at what he had seen."Eye...your eyes!" he said. Cenede blinked. One of her eyes were purple and another was mint green."Yeah? What about them? Do you have a problem with them?" Cenede asked.

"What? Um...no! They're beautiful-I mean pretty-I mean..." Evan sighed and did a weak smile."Why would I have a problem with them? It's okay to be different. Different makes you special!" Evan beamed.

Cenede smiled with glee. That's when Mindy peeped out from the door."Cenede! Are you okay?" she asked. When Cenede took her hand off of her nose, cyan blue ink was falling down her nose. Mindy gasped."Oh my gosh you're bleeding!"

"I am? I'll be okay."

Okay, this girl is super stubborn about asking for help...

Cenede covered her nose once again."Is everything alright in here? The owner of the hotel brought me up here to ask you guys that. Everyone's still trying to find out the mystery person who cut off all of the power in the hotel."

Evan stood still not saying a single word. He tried not to lie especially to an honest girl like Cenede. I nudged him in the arm.

"Cenede, can you keep a secret?" Mindy asked her.

Cenede shook her head."No, not really..."she said clearly not thinking about what she said. Mindy's eyes widened a bit as if she were trying to state the obvious.

"Oh, but this time sure!" Cenede said awkwardly rubbing her hair.

"Mindy, what're you doing?" Evan asked."What about...the plan?" he muttered."Forget about it. I trust Cenede enough to keep the secret." Mindy said confidentally.

"Cenede, we've got something to tell you that'll probably freak you out a bit..."
