Flounder Heights

Riley's P.O.V.

We all eventually made it back to Flounder Heights. Flounder Heights didn't really look the best on the outside, but once you're on the inside, it's a different story. I saw a red sewer pipe that looked familiar. "You guys, doesn't that pipe look like the one that leads to Octo Valley?" I asked. Mindy looked at it and smiled."Sure does! I never even noticed it before."

"It makes me wonder how Cap'n's doing..."Lucas said with a weak smile."Maybe we should go visit him sometime..."

"I think that he's doing just fine down there. He's been down there for so long. How could he not be okay?" Nevaeh asked.

"Yeah..he was a pretty cool guy." Soup smiled."He was the freshest one around!"

We all laughed and headed back inside the hotel. Soup kept making jokes on our way back to our dorm rooms. We were now riding in an elevator.

"I bet you're all wondering why we're gathered here today!" Soup smiled. We eventually reached our destination and headed to our dorm rooms. Neveah, Sharl, and Evan waved goodbye and headed inside their dorm rooms.

Heading to the door, I saw what appeared to be Drake walking alongside a girl with orange hair who I've never seen before.

"I still can't believe that Callie and Marie showed the both of us on screen...again...live in front of the whole city...I just hope no one else finds out..." Drake said blushing.

Well we know now...

~Awkward Silence~

"Drake, it's in the past. It's not like anything else bad could happen, right?" Lola asked with a weak smile."Do you know how many people have been interviewed or caught on live television?"

"I know, but...I'm not really used to this kind of thing, Lola..."

"You'll get used to it." Lola beamed as she was getting ready to kiss him on the cheek.

Are they like...a couple?

.....CUTE!

Before Lola could give him a kiss, a girl with sky blue hair came running through the hallway with a couple of ink packets in her hands.

"OUT OF THE WAY, PEOPLE!" she shouted. Sky ran in between Drake and Lola shoving them both which made them farther away from each other.

"Sky! What the- What was that for?" Lola asked rudely with an angry face."You...you saw that I was about to kiss him and you just--"

Sky then stopped and turned around. She then giggled a little."But where's the fun in that? And, what's stopping you? Just do it! Gotta go now! I've got a bit of a leakage!"she said running off.

Me, Mindy, Soup, and Lucas all sweat dropped. Drake saw us and sweat dropped."You guys didn't hear what I said did you?"he asked.

I was about to speak."We heard every--"

"We heard nothing!" Mindy said quickly covering her mouth."See you guys tomorrow!"

Me, Soup, Mindy and Lucas all went inside our dorm room. Boy...it feels like I haven't seen this place in days. I plopped down on my bed and started to lie down. Turf wars are really good for when you're trying to excercise.

"Hey, you guys mind keeping an eye on this place for a bit? Me and Mindy have to go get our dorm keys." Lucas asked.

"Sure thing, big bro!" I beamed. Lucas smiled."Thanks! Don't wreck the place up either."

I grinned."I've seen an episode of Hoarders and I can't believe how good this place looks.

Soup was in the kitchen making a sandwich a bottle of mustard was in his hand. He looked at me from the corner of his eye."Don't think I forgot about that video you posted, Riley..."

I looked at him sheepishly and smiled."Relax, it's not like there were many people who saw it, anyway."

Soup was struggling getting the sauce out."500 views? That's what you call a few people?"

"Have you even seen the video? It's not that bad. Your dance moves are actually good and the other squids think so too, see?" I asked pointing at a few good comments.

The pink haired boy continued to scroll down. "Oh great, now you're gonna spend the next 30 minutes looking at comments. What's next? You're gonna stay up all night for new ones?" I joked.

"Shut up..." He smiled nudging my arm. A mustard stain was left the sleeve of my red jacket. "My bad..."he said sheepishly. He then made a little snort afterwards.

"Not funny, Soup..."

He shrugged acting anything other than innocent. "Well that's what you get for doing a spit take on my clothes from earlier. Don't think I forgot about that either."

I smirked. "Aw, are you mad or nah? Does someone need a cookie?" I asked as I spread some mustard stains on his head on purpose.

"Hey, quit it!" He laughed as he put some more mustard stains on my hair. Inkling hair is easily washable and I am so glad about that too! Just a deep soak in our own ink, then POOF!

I grabbed the mustard bottle soup was using and quickly put a drop of it on my hand.

SMACK!

I pressed my hand on his face. Everything then turned into a little mustard war!

KNOCK KNOCK!

Me and Soup then stopped for a moment after we heard a knock at the door.

"Crud..." Soup said silently.

Lucas and Mindy came back with two dorm room cards. They both looked at us with shocked faces."What went on in here?" Mindy asked.

"We're so busted..."Soup whispered to me. I laughed."At least we're not alone."

"Someone's gonna clean this place up!" Lucas said folding his arms.

"NOT I!" I blurted out.

"We'll clean it together. This is our mess and it's our responsibility to fix this issue." Soup said with a grin."Yeah, but you started it..." I muttered.

"I heard that! I did no such thing!" Soup lied.

"YES YOU DID!"

"DID NOT!"

"DID TOO!"

"DID NO--"

CLICK CLICK!

"Heh...uh...did I say that? I meant I did! I'll clean after I go change my clothes." Soup said idiotically. We all watched as Soup grabbed some clothes and went to go get changed.

"I'll be right back, you guys. I'll be in my room if you need me. I am so hyped for tomorrow!" Lucas beamed. He continued to talk as he stepped out of the room.

Mindy walked up to me and placed her elbow on my shoulder. A devious smirk was on her face."So? When's the wedding?"she asked with a snicker.

I stood there and blushed.".......Shut up, Mindy!"

Another chapter done, peeps! Man...where did everybody go? Is it because of school? ......It can't be...I've read other Splatoon books and have seen the amount of comments and I'm like....wut?

I know I'm a bit slow with posting my chapters. I try my hardest, really I do, but I also have a life outside of my phone. So, in the meantime, SPREAD THE WORD, PEOPLE!

Anyway, I was gonna do something else for this chapter, but I decided to save it for another chapter...(I'm not telling you guys what it is)

The Souley bomb is slowly falling down...heh heh...
