Not too far from the mountain's base was a forest. Me and the Sisters went through it. It was suprisingly thick, but a path helped keep us from getting lost. While we were walking though, we found three people. One of them was an Octoling. Traitors...

Matt: Guys, there's three enemies over there. What do we do?

Marie: What else is there to do?

Matt: Seems fair. HEY DEUTSCHBAGS!

I yelled them. They turned to us, and got their weapons ready. This should be good.

I jumped down from the tree to meet them. It was an Inkling with a skull mask, coat, and shoes. Hang on...

He lunged at me with a sword. I dodged to the side. So an old friend betrays me and joins them. Now we face off...

I kicked his corpse. I checked his gear. All that he had that was worthwhile was a couple of HP Potions and AP Potions. Was expecting some gauntlets, but eh. I moved ahead, and found a chest. What's a chest doing in the middle of the forest? I opened it up, and thankfully, it wasn't a mimic. Inside was a pair of gauntlets. Ooh, new weapon! I replaced my old ones with them.

Brawler's Gloves swapped for Dwarven Gauntlets. Brawler's Gloves put into inventory.

There we go. That should hold me better. Extra ATK as well, nice. I met up the Squid Sisters at the forest's exit. Ahead was the ruins of Inkopolis. Ah shit, here we go again...
