You were a quite girl, the kind who never tried to intrude on any situation. Let's just say... you were... shy. You were not the kind of person who trusted people instantly. You had to get to know them before they really earned your respect. If you had any... you really didn't need to respect that many people because you didn't know very many people!

You were VERY close to a couple friends:

1. Goggles (From Team Blue)

2. Annaki (your best friend)

3. 8-bit (Your teammate)

4. Chirpy (lol, your teammate)

5. Velour (Your teammate)

You trusted them more then anyone. Even your own family.  I suppose it's not that you had a bad bond with your family or anything, you just had a little bit of a rough time with them. Your relationship was... sort of on the awkward side.

Present time:

"Hurry Y/n! We're going to be late for our battle! How long did you take getting ready?!"

"Hush Velour, I did my best!" you quietly giggled, "I took 2 minutes to pick out what I was going to wear, and put it on! Then, I took about 3 minutes to shower, and 5 minutes to brush my teeth, wash my face, and pack up."

"Wow! You beat your record!" Chirpy joked. He was VERY outgoing. He adored almost everyone and didn't have a single enemy.

You stayed silent and continued walking. You weren't all that shy with your teammates, but to everyone else, you were the shyest person on the face of the earth.

"Hey Y/n!"

The voice rang in your ears as you tried to decipher it. Who was it this time? You went through your little list in your brain.

No... not Chirpy, cause you just tlaked to him, not Velour either, cause you could see her to the side of you... not Annaki cause she was joining us there... an that leaves 8-bit and Goggles. You decided on Goggles and turned around to see if your correct.

"Yes! Hey Goggles!" you smiled cheerily. You, Chirpy, and Goggle's personality matched pretty well.

"Hiya Y/n! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out? Your team of course too!" Goggles said excitedly. You thought, actually you really didn't think. HOW were you supposed to decline that?

"Sure! But we have a battle first, so if you want to come then you can! Then we can hang out afterwards okay?" you decided.

"That sounds fun!" Velour commented thoughtfully.

Chirpy nodded too. He seemed to excited to even speak. You rolled your eyes. Is this what you ended up with? Oof.

"Is it okay if I bring a couple friends?" Goggles asked quickly, his eyes darting around like he was looking for someone.

"Sure! Do whatever you want to do!" Velour answered happily.

"Great! Thank you!" then Goggles sped off to get his friends.

"Alright! Let's do our best okay?" you told your now-assembled-together-teammates.

"YEAH! We can't lose!"

Your team's ethic was much like Team Blues, one of your teams closest friends. You often practiced together so you were able to catch on to some of their silly tactics that often won many of the matches.

Oh fantastic. Looks like we're against Team Pink, led by Aloha.

"We're so doomed..." 8-bit fretted.

"Don't worry, we're good! Just keep up the good work like always 8-bit and we'll do AMAY-ZING!" you cheered in attempt to comfort your friend.

"Y/n, that's not a word. You could say amazing, but not emphasize the silent, nonexistent 'y' in amazing," Velour said.

"Yes Ms. Grammar Queen!"

"That's right, bow down my subjects!" Velour joked.

Just then, Judd walked out onto the stage.

"Meow! Ready to begin? Yeah it doesn't matter whether your ready or not. Meow! Let us begin!"

And just like that, you were all off. You quickly gave directions to your team because you had so many strategies for each stage. In a way, you were kind of like Army's team orange, but without the manual.

Velour and Chirpy went one way to cover each other, while you and 8-bit went another way to cover each other. Suddenly, a bang shot across and you noticed that 8-bit had went down. How did that happen?! You didn't see anyone around so you continued inking, but on a more cautious note.

"Heya~"

"W-What?!" you spun around to find a pink inkling, smiling.

"What's your name cutie~?" Aloha asked in a VERY flirtatious tone.

"Uh..." you began. After all, you were insanely shy when it came to new people. Or just people you didn't know very well. In this case, you really hadn't ever talked to Aloha.

"Speechless huh~?"

You had no idea where your teammates were and you were just hoping that it wouldn't go awkwardly.

"N-No, not really. I-I'm just trying to find the right words to say. T-That's all..." you mumbled as you looked down.

"Awww that's okay. I'll say it then. I'm Aloha, nice to meet you. What's your name?" he asked in a normal tone of voice. That made you more comfortable.

"Oh, I'm Y/n, nice to meet you Aloha!" you exclaimed, a little louder then you thought. He seemed taken aback.

"Wow, you seemed so quiet at first!" Aloha laughed.

"Y-Yeah, uhhhh I'm really not that shy with people I know, It just came out a little louder then I expected...!"

"That's alright, it doesn't matter. It's really loud here anyway!" Aloha reassured you.

"Well we can't just stay here and let our teammates handle all of this," you said bravely, almost instantly regretting it because you never thought that would come out of you.

"Why don't we~?"

"Because! We're both apart of our teams so we should be helping them!" you exclaimed, trying to prove your point, your shyness instantly leaving you. You were extremely defensive of your teammates.

"I see devotion to your teammates. I appreciate your loyalty to them. You know, you could really become a good team leader if you wanted." Aloha said.

"I'm not trying to take the lead... I just want my team to do well, and be happy!" you murmured, thinking of all the good times you had with them. Your team had never really had a leader and you were pretty sure you liked it that way.

"Ya'know what Y/n? I'll talk to you later. I'm sure I'll enjoy your company if we ever hang out~!" Aloha said, skipping away to help his team. You blushed at this. You turned and started helping your team as well.

You didn't know what the feeling was, but you tried to ignore it. No matter what, it seemed you just couldn't. What was this about?!

After consulting your friendly-therapist, Annaki (lol) she patiently explained that you were falling for Aloha. EXCUSE ME WHAT?! That was NOT what you were expecting.

"Wait what?! How??" you exclaimed in disbelief, "I just met him!"

"You did, but it seems that he made an impact on your mind."

"Uhhhh........."

"It's fine, you'll get used to it. I suppose you'll be fine though," Annaki reassured you.

"If you insist! I'll see you around Annaki!"

You went to go to the crust bucket where you found a familiar pink tentacled inkling.

"Aloha?"

The pink inkling turned around, a smile appearing on his face.

"Heya Y/n~! Do you want to hang out?" Aloha asked, a cheery smile on his face.

"Y-Yeah!"
