Hello everyone I want to thank you all for getting this far into the story, I never thought I would get this far to this story, but as a thank you, I'm gonna tell you all the history of splatoon harem, the characters, etc. so without farther of do, let's get started

I discover wattpad when I was going through some picture of splatoon and I find this pic

So I clicked on the link which lead me to DForrester story, which made me curious, so I read his chapter and I gain interested in it, so throughout the time I read his story which I finished when he was only at the chapter where y/n kisses Callie I think

So then I decide to look for more of the splatoon stories and then I find a lot of them, every one of them were amazing, especially and DForrester and Ghostrick. So then I had a debate on if I should write my own story also, but I decided to give it a try by writing my own oc story, which was name Universe, but it was a big flop.
So later on I thought maybe I should write a splatoon story, even though I didn't know anything about splatoon, so I looked though splatoon and learned more about it, and I notice in the splatoon game, how the inklings was all happy and stuff, and I thought "what if there was an inkling that was the opposite." So went through some pics and found one that would fit for it and named him Tadayoshi because let's be honest, names are hard for me. The splatoon was not only inspired by DForrester but also one piece, smg4, etc. so when I first begin writing the story, It was supposed to be at least 20 chapter long, but surprisingly, you guys loved and I'm glad you do, so I made the decision to write my story long and develop it more.

So when I got Tadayoshi, I wanted a main character to be edgy but loved, so I gave his personality like the shield hero from Rising of the shield hero, and hachiman for oreguri. The name Tadayoshi is actually my Japanese name, named after two of my great grandfathers. The reason why I decided to give him a pen as a weapon was because I wanted something different that wasn't from the splatoon harem, so then fountain pen came in mind, because one, it carries ink, two it was like a spear

When I made Terrence I thought of making him one of those characters that hated the main character, but as time went by, I thought maybe I should change him up a bit and make him a character that does treat Tadayoshi as a brother, because let's be honest, I'm sure all of hate Drake. He was inspired by zoro from one piece. The reason why I made him a brother of Amelia is because I always wondered what exactly was 3 backstory in the cannon, so I made up my version and thought Amelia should have a brother

BeatBox is was character that I wanted people to relate with, but tbh it isn't easy. BeatBox head is literally a Boombox and he is inspired by my favorite DJ dedmouse and marshmallow. BeatBox is literally the opposite of Tadayoshi as you know, but there is more to him...

So when I was thinking what will Bridgett and Amelia personality, I decided to make Amelia an small loner but also a tsundere, and she was inspired by dforresters 3, and Bridgett caused quite a ruckus, when I decide to gave her name Bridgett, but when I release her, you guys were all about boxie and vial, which made me so confuse what was happening, but when I asked someone who is vian, they told me to look it up on YouTube and I found out that vian had a character that was named Bridgett and when I saw it... I felt horrible because I felt like I was copying someone, but I had to stick with her name.

The reason I created tracer because I wanted an octoling in Tadayoshi harem, and I decided to make her perverted because I've seen mostly YouTube videos where the octolings are perverts (I'm might be wrong) but I thought what if there was a twist, so I also gave her a personality as an assassin, and make her more of a woman you can respect

Alex was created because I wanted someone that knew more about Tadayoshi mysterious background and also to show that Tadayoshi does have a heart. Alex was inspired by ace from one piece and magical girl site. I gave her a harsh life because I wanted to I wanted to have her be an example on how some people are suffering and how they can change and that maybe you can help at least. I killed her off because I wanted to develop and add emotions to the story more but it was also hard of me as well... trust me

*sigh* drake... drake, drake, drake. I wanted to have a character the was a rival to the main character, so I had drake to be one of those fancy handsome characters, and named him drake because why not and no it was not inspired by the rapper, but he was mostly inspired by Francis from smg4. I also wanted him to be hated, so I created the rule 34, which I will explain later and I guess I work somehow. And now I will explain the arcs

The hometown arc was an arc mostly focused on Tadayoshi and Alex, so I decided that I wanted to reveal the darklings. I had Alex kidnapped because she was more closer to Tadayoshi then the others, and she carries something that mask wanted. I also wanted to show that his much that people hated Tadayoshi and how strong he is. The chapter was to also make mask stronger and to show off their powers, and add in MissLoserLover and derpydoge911 as cameos so you guys can see how great there stories are and for the rule 34 arc

The rule 34 arc was inspired by Smg4 anime arc, one of my favorite arcs he made, and I made this arc because I wanted to add more hated on drake. I also added myself to the story was because I was worried that people would get the wrong idea that Tadayoshi is me, but he and I are two different people.
Gunslinger was a idiot op character or a god, so I didn't show him much in fights, cause to be honest, his powers are confusing or op, but he and I are good friend in rl.
Ms. Loser is another writer that make great stories but some strange reason so never puts around me. so I decided to make her kidnapped with marina (sorry), and also to show how much of a great person she, is ( plz show her some love, she is having a hard time)

The wedding was inspired by the whole cake island arc from one piece, but the reason why I made this arc was to develop tracer character and know her past. I also wanted to show how powerful overlords and their follower are after tadayoshi got his ass beat by fox. I can tell you this isn't the last time you'll see admiral remora.

So yeah that's how far we've gotten, I'll probably tell you the other characters some day, but I'm gonna tell you this much for now.
