The team was fighting a battle against the Joker, until suddenly The Joker pulled out a detonator.

"Better run Batbrat and friends. There's a bomb here and it's gonna blow up in one minute!" Joker said and laughed insanely and disappeared.

"Team. Let's go!" Aqualad commanded.

Artemis got shot in the leg and was limping. Only Wally noticed her."Leave me, Wally, She mumbled weakly.

"No! Never!" He replied. He picked her up and ran out of the building. Suddenly, the blast came and it knocked them both out.

He felt Artemis for a pulse. He exhaled. It was still there, but it was faint.

"Come on! Let's get on the bioship! Artemis is hurt!" He shouted to the rest of the team.

They all boarded, and Wally paced in worry for the injured archer.

The Bioship took them to Mount Justice, where Wally ran Artemis quickly to the MedBay, where Red Tornado was fixing her up.

"Can I come in now?" He asked the Flash.

"Be patient Wally." The Flash said calmly.

"How about now?!" Wally asked again desperately.

Barry looked into Wally's eyes and he saw that look. That same look he had when people he loved were in danger. He just couldn't say no.

"Fine." He muttered.

Wally zoomed in and ran to Artemis's bed side.

Her heart rate was going low, until suddenly it went flat.

Wally stared at it in anguish, and burst in tears.

"Oh Artemis, my little spitfire, I never got to tell you I loved you. You're the bravest girl I've ever met, not to mention the prettiest. I only flirt with M'gann to make you jealous, honestly. Nobody will take your place in my heart ever." He confessed, giving her one last kiss on the forehead.

Artemis suddenly fluttered her eyes open, and felt a kiss on her forehead, making her blush.

"You-You like me?" She stuttered.

Wally blushed a dark shade of red. "Yeah," He mumbled. "And I meant everything that I said."

"I like you too," She said kissing him on the lips.

2 days later

Artemis and Wally walked out of the MedBay, hand in hand.

"Can we go for ice cream please?" Wally pouted.

"Fine." Artemis grumbled, kissing him on the cheek.

They went to the ice cream shop and ordered. Ordered meaning Artemis got a 1 scoop, and Wally got 7 scoops.

"Wally, OMG, how do you eat that much?" Aremis chuckled, playing with his red hair.

"Fast Metabolism," He said charmingly.

"I know," She said smilingly.

They stared into each other's eyes until Wally leaned in and kissed her.

"You got ice cream on my lips." Artemis muttered. She licked it off. "Cookies and Cream. Yummy." She said smiling.

"Awww! You guys are so cute!" M'gann gushed, walking up to their table.

"M'gann? Why are you here?" Artemis asked.

"Oh. Robin asked if we wanted to spy on you guys so....," M'gann trailed off.

"I'm gonna kill that bat," Wally muttered.

"Bet you can't catch me," Robin's cheeky voice said from somewhere.

"Rob? Where are you?" Wally asked.

"Come out here right now!" Artemis shouted.

"Get Traught! And Stay Whelmed!" Robin shouted before disappearing.

"ROBIN!" The two lovers shouted again.

All the people in the cafe looked at them.

"Woops," Wally mumbled.
