We walked into our dorm to see Jade studying, Ashley doing her hair, and Brittney on her phone. 

"Hey girls what's up." I said as I walked over to my bed, throwing my bag on top of it. They all looked up at me and Em. "Britt, what time is it?" 

"Four Fifteen." Jade answered.

"Nice outfits." Brittney said almost immediately going back to her phone. Ashley said nothing as she looked at us, apparently too busy curling her hair to speak. Jade looked at us with a questioning look on her face.

"Are you guys cousins or twins?" she asked. Em and I looked at each other for a moment before answering.

"Twins." Everyone looked shocked for a moment. Jade just smirked at us.

"She's moving in here from now on. Are you girls okay with that?" I asked my dorm mates. Brittney and Jade both agreed. Ashley looked Emma up and down for a moment.

"What is your favorite kind of makeup?" Em answered quickly, being the girly girl she is.

"Mary Kay." Ashley spat back another question right after she answered.

"Favorite Curler" She narrowed her eyes.

"Iron or Roller?" Em asked back as she looked Ashley right in the eyes dead serious.

"Iron." Ashley answered after thinking a moment.

"Revlon's one inch rose gold curling iron. Obviously." Em answered easily. Ash nodded.

"She can stay, this girl knows hair." Em smiled at her. 

"It's settled then," I said as a bunk bed replaced my own, "Em, top or bottom?" I knew she would pick top, just the way it was at boot camp.

"Top, duh." She opened the top left drawer of the vanity that appeared, taking out her makeup bag and hair stuff. I had no clue what most of it was. She grabbed her stuff as Ashley who had been using a compact to do her hair walked over and they started talking about makeup stuff. I went to go talk to Jade.

"Did I miss anything in Ag Bio today?" I asked her.

"No, but Mr. Green is our teacher, and seems to be very strict about homework and such." She wrote an answer to the question on the worksheet she was doing, then resumed talking. "We don't have any work tonight, but there is a "Get to know you ball coming up in two weeks, we'll get more details at supper, and the invites will come to our dorms." I nodded.

"Okay thanks Jade." I gave her a hug, then walked over to Em and Ashley. They were talking about the pros and cons of heated curlers. I went to grab a book but Emma stopped me.

"Oh no you don't, Come here I need to redo your hair and makeup. The whole fiasco with dad ruined it." She scolded me as I pouted back at her.

"But Emmie, it's just supper!" She shook her head at me.

"There is a ball coming up, which means you need a date. You won't get one looking like a potato." Jade laughed at us as she walked over.

"That's an insult to potatoes." Britt commented putting a hand on Ashley's shoulder. We all laughed and Ashley and Em got to work. Ashley did hair, Em did makeup. I went through everyone's closets and picked out outfits for everyone.
