I opened my eyes to see light coming in a window. It was shining on Ashley's face as she sat up and hit her head on the top bunk. I burst out laughing as she dropped back in to her bed and screamed.

" Oh my holy heavens who died!!!!" Jade screamed from below me. "Alix, Why are you laughing so hard? What happened?"

"Ashley ... sat u ... p and hi ... t her head ... on the ... bunk!" I gasped out between my fits of laughter.

"It's not funny!" Ashley screamed at me, which only caused me to laugh harder. My vision went all fuzzy. Then I fell of the bed onto my suitcase, causing Principal Quinn to burst out laughing.

"Oh my gosh, we're sorry for the disturbance Principal Quinn. We didn't mean to make that much noise, or wake anyone up! We didn't mean to do it! It was an accident I swear!!" Britney was having a major freak out moment. We all fell silent watching to see what Principal Quinn would do.

"Girls, chillsies! It's no biggie, I always come around to the dorms the first morning of school to make sure everyone was happy with the school, and that there were no dorm fights. I heard yelling so I came in here first, but under no circumstances are you girls in trouble. Actually 61 points to StrongHeart, and 27 Spirit points to dorm ... did you girls name the dorm yet?"

"We get to name the dorm!!!" Jade snapped out of her trance first. "Dude that's so cool What should we name it? " she said turning to the rest of us. I spoke up first.

"How does everyone feel about White Phoenix?"

"I love it !!!" Britt said.

"Me too!!!!!" Jade squealed in my ear. Once I regained hearing I asked Ashley.

"Your the last vote, Yay or Nay?"

"Fine."

"Sweet, so 27 Spirit points to white phoenix. So back to my speech," Principal Quinn cleared her throat, then spoke with a flawless british accent, "if you misbehave, claw marks will appear on your bed, they represent detentions. Teachers can't put claw marks there, so they don't have the power to give out detentions. Don't ask me how, but the school will put them there. It will catch you even if we don't. Your name will automatically be put on a list and you will report to detention from 7:00 until 9:00 everyday until you have worked off all your claws. Cool fact about the school halls. The reroute you wherever it thinks you need to go. If you have any claws, then it will only let you go to detention, every door will lead to detention. Don't get detention, and you won't have that problem." She went back to her normal cheery voice. "Now that that's out of the way a few things you should know about me. I am a werewolf, and a meta. I know your freaking out right now but hear me out. Werewolves can shift any time, don't eat humans, we don't lose control, and under no circumstances would I ever harm a student. As for being a meta, it just means my appearance can change, like this." She started changing the color of her hair, eyes, and skin. "So that means I can look like someone else," she pointed at me, "what's your name."

"Alix Ritner." She morphed into me.

"So Alix what do you think."

"So you can look like someone else, but your voice doesn't change." She nodded.

"Exactly, but that makes me gender fluid, sometimes I'm a boy, some times a girl. Please call me Nate when I'm a boy, and Natasha when I'm a girl. Or if it makes you more comfortable just call me Quinn. Another thing, people often get confused with pronouns. I ask that you try to use the pronoun she. If it makes you uncomfortable you need to suck it up and deal with it. I was born this way so adapt. Before anyone asks any questions, I'm not as old as you think, I'm only 19. Now Questions?"

"What time is breakfast?"

"We have a 24 hr buffett open in the food hall."

"Would it be rude to ask you to shift so we can see your wolf form?" Jade asked.

"Yes, it is extremely rude to ask to see a wolf form, but I would let you meet my Wolf if you would like." We all nodded. Then their eyes turned from bright blue to a startling grey.
