This is a little explanation of what goes on in my story:

There are no humans, only were-people and they are split up according to their species. Each carnivorous species (e.g Wolves, Foxes, Snakes etc.) has a Spirit. This Spirit represents them in the Spirit Council and looks after them. 

Lykiana is the Wolf Spirit and represents all the wolves. She rules over them as well.

The Moon Mother looks after all Spirits and sets the rules.

Each Spirit has a soul companion shaped like the species that the Spirit rules over (So a Fox Spirit would have a fox companion etc). It was chosen to forever accompany them and is like a pet that holds a part of their soul. Her companion was called Eros.
