A nine year old slept silently in her room, curled up with her wings tucked safely against her back. She yawned and stretched, rubbing her eyes as she got to her feet. She bounded out of the room, looking around before heading towards the training room. "Where are you going, little one?" She squealed, laughing as someone picked her up. "DAAAAD!" Tarik smiled at her, and set her down, the two walking side by side. "Luna, go ahead"Tarik nodded. Luna took off into the air, flying away into the training room. "You have fun with Terra, I'll be back"Tarik says patting her head. Terra looked over at her, Ivy and Fennel standing with her as Luna flew over. "Hey guys"Luna waved landing beside Terra. "Hey Lu"Terra greets. The two girls twinned their tails, brushing their wings together. "My Dad says he's having a meeting with your Dad and some of the others"Terra grinned. "Wanna evesdrop!"Ivy grinned. "I-I don't think I should, I have lessons with Lenori"Luna says.

"Come on Lu, when are you gonna have some fun!"Fennel demands a grin on his face. Luna twitched her ears, then nodded. "Just for a minute!"Luna adds quickly. Terra cheered and bounded away with them behind her, the group sneaking through the hallway towards the meeting area. "Oh, guys, I don't think this is such a good idea anymore"Luna says hesitating as they neared the room. "Don be a coward, Lu, your father isn't one, I thought you were Tarik's daughter! You gotta be braver than this!"Terra teased. Luna flattened her ears back and glared at Terra. "I'm not a coward, I just don't like sneaking around and listening in on conversions we weren't invited to!"Luna snaps. "Ooooo! Look at Ms Shy Girl being all tough and that"Ivy mocked grinning. "Terra, don't tell me she's actually your best friend!"Fennel snorted disbelieving. Terra glanced at the two, then looked at Luna somewhat guilty. "No, she's not"Terra mutters.

Luna stared at Terra, and ran off, leaving the three alone. Terra stared after her, Ivy and Fennel looking amused. "Luna?" Luna ran past the figure, hurrying back into the training room, finding a corner to hide in. Footsteps came from behind her, a hand touching her head. She looked up, finding Lenori staring down at her. "Terra and her new friends"Lenori asks gently. "Yes"Luna mutters her eyes starting to water. "Friends come and go, you can't expect every friend to stay by your side forever"Lenori smiled gently stroking Luna's ear. "I know..."Luna says. "Why don't we practice your seer training..will that help, I know you said you had a strange dream two nights ago"Lenori suggests. "Yeah, I wanna practice!"Luna gasps getting to her feet. "CATCH IT!" The duo looked behind them, finding Tarik, Olvan, and four other Greencloaks trying to catch something scampering about.

It bounded right towards Luna, her eyes widening when she realized it was some kind of porcupine. She grabbed it, startling the critter as she lifted it up towards her face. It looked like a squirrel sized human with porcupine quills and hair. It kicked it's little human like feet, that had four toes. Five little fingers gripped her hand, trying to make her release it. "It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you"Luna mumbles loosening her grip. "Luna, don't let it escape!"Tarik says his eyes wide. She looked at him, noticing the flash of fear in his eyes as they darted between the critters chittering mouth and her hand. "Hand it to me, Lu... carefully"Tarik orders stepping closer. She held her hands out, looking curious. The critter looked at her, it's eyes filled with terror as it kicked harder. "No, it's mine!"Luna yells moving her hands away at the last second, keeping the critter close.

It stared at her, it's struggling coming to a halt. "Luna, that critter is very dangerous and we gotta...properly take care it, if you hand it over, I'll take you to the underground lake we found"Tarik bargained. "NO! MINE!"Luna yells turning away. "Maybe we should let her keep it"Lenori suggests. "Keep it, that creature is dangerous, I don't even know how it got in here.."Olvan mutters. "It's not attacking nor is it trying to escape from her"Lenori retorts serenely. Luna set the creature down, staring at it silently. It stared back at her, then reached out with one hand. She held her hand out, smiling when it patted her finger. She picked him up, and placed it on her shoulder. The critter pointed to Tarik, then pointed to himself. "You're a boy?"Luna guessed. It nodded, smiling at her as it's tiny body relaxed. "He's a boy, not an it!"Luna smiled. "And...I'll call him Quill!"Luna grinned.

Quill shook his head, and pointed to a fake stalactite nearby. "Stalactite?"Luna guessed. Quill shook his head and pointed to the tip. "Spike?"Luna smiled. Quill beamed and nodded, clapping his tiny hands. She smiled at Spike, then froze feeling a chill down her spine. She looked around, finding darkness on all sides of her. "Papa...Lenori...Olvan...Spike..is anyone here"Luna mutters trembling. The sound of running feet startled her, whirling around. She shrieked, a white ghost with blue eyes lunging at her, passing right through and vanishing. A man with gray hair stared down at her, an expressionless look on his face. "Silver Star is returning, gather Zeus, Barak, Amun, Ajax, and Sakura to Greenhaven"The man orders. She shook her head, finding herself back in the training room. "Silver Star is coming back"Olvan demands alarmed.

"What'd you see?"Lenori asks. "What"Luna mutters her arms shaking, Spike patting her wing. "Your eyes glossed over and you said something about Silver Star, then named five of the backup Great Beasts.."Tarik says placing a hand on her back. "I saw a ghost, it felt as if she was gonna swallow me whole"Luna informs deciding not to mention the strange man. Tarik, Olvan and Lenori glanced at each other. "Luna, from now on you're gonna start training with me, which means it'll be harder"Tarik informs. "Harder training"Luna echoed. "Yes"Tarik says seriously. She stared at him, Spike sitting on her shoulder. "Okay"Luna nodded earning a pat to the head from her father. She looked down, staring silently at her hands, wondering why everyone seemed so scared of Silver Star.
