There was an army alright, just not the one we were expecting.

We saw the army Ulgi warned us about. I could count at least 1 thousand Skulldominus Rexes as well as Skullcrusher himself; however what really caught our attention was the other army.

About 700 or more Xenomorph warriors were there, leading a charge against the Skulldoms. They had caught the relaxed Skulldoms by surprise and a huge battle was raging.

I quickly turned around and flared in anger at Ulgi, I said "You didn't tell us Xenon was sending an army, why are they here; to defend their home or attack mine? ANSWER ME!" I said the last part in anger yet Ulgi seemed genuinely shocked. He said "I truly did not know about any of this." I growled in rage, feeling primal anger flare though my body. However Spyro interrupted my rage session by saying "He is correct Gigant, he is border patrol, how would he know of this battle?"

I calmed down for a moment, controlling my rage, all Gigas had similar problems of rage, sometimes we could bottle it up to use against enemies, however most of the times it harmed the ones closest to us. I said "Sorry about that, I can't control the rage". Ulgi nodded his head and said "Even in Xenon some Xenomorphs have this problem, now what do we do?"

Both of us looked at Spyro but saw his face filled with an intense rage. He said "They have completely destroyed Fenrir's terminal, I will make them all pay". I looked back at the battle field. The Skulldoms may have been strong by dino standards but clearly they had never fought Xenonian Warriors before. The Xenomorphs crushed into enemy lines and tore the Skulldoms apart with their acid attacks and claws. However their numbers were also dwindling quickly as the Skulldoms regrouped and led a counter-assault. In the of the battle I spotted the terminal, usually it emitted a light that reached till the sky however this terminal was absolutely wrecked from top to bottom, the terminal of different bosses were different and unique in their own ways. I could barely make out the claws and paws made in the terminal, it was clearly in the form of a wolf, but now it was nothing but almost molten slag.

Ulgi said "We have to retreat, this place is not safe. The Xenonians likely see me as a traitor since I am with the Arkian Emperor." For once I couldn't agree more as I rushed Spyro down the ramp saying "Let's go Lord Spyro; we can use the obelisk in the redwood forest."

Spyro replied "You are correct, only a fool would realize that no matter who wins, the Skulldoms or the Xenonians, Ark has lost one of its primary provinces. Ulgi what will you do, I extend the hand of friendship to you, come back with us".

However Ulgi could not reply as at that moment 5 Skulldoms fell down from the cliff, we were already at the bottom so I thought they had died from the fall. However I was shocked when all five got up and were not even scratched. They looked at us and growled in hunger. One of them spoke "Kill the others, however spare the dragon, he is going to be useful as a bargaining chip for our lord." And with that they charged.

After that everything became a blur. The 4 Xeno scouts and Ulgi took on 2 of the Skulldoms, I had never seen a Xeno warrior and a Skulldominus next to each other and Ulgi was quite small, like a rex next to a giga. However I had your own problems as a Skulldom rushed towards you. I let out the bottled rage from before and without thinking charged towards the enemy.

Me and the Skulldom, hit each other with such force that the ground shook, nevertheless I quickly got up and before the Skulldom could recover, I bit his neck. I than quickly used my claws to hold push him down. However before I could bestow the finishing blow his tail came from behind and hit me with such force that I crashed into a tree a few meters behind. The Skulldom quickly got up and rushed to me. He quickly grabbed the back of my neck with his large hands and rammed me into the tree until it broke, thankfully that made him lose his grip and before he could do anything I literally fell on top of him, as I was about the same weight as him, he fell down allowing me to quickly get up and in a single maneuver, snap his neck. I wanted to check my injuries but I had to protect Lord Spyro and Ulgi. Thankfully Spyro did not need any help as he towered over the Skulldoms in size; he burned one of them alive and grabbed the other 2 remaining Skulldom's tails with both his claws and flew straight into the air before throwing them at the ground at full strength and landing on them with his feet with such force that I felt their ribcage shatter from all the way here.

I shouted cheerfully before a shriek of pain caught my attention. I turned around only to see Ulgi on the ground, black blood leaking from his leg. A Skulldom above him about to snap his neck. Behind them the 4th Skulldom was dead on the ground with the 4 Xeno scouts. I quickly rushed towards the final Skulldom but before you could reach him Spyro flew over you, grabbed the Skulldom before opening its mouth with his claws and blasting fire straight into his mouth before throwing him back down. I quickly reached Ulgi and assessed his injuries. He would make it but barely. Spyro landed next to me and asked "Is he okay?" I answered "He will live my lord but if we do not give him medical attention he will die." Lord Spyro thought for a moment before carefully picking up Ulgi and saying, I am ashamed to say this but we must retreat. Hold on tight, both of you." Before I could ask what he meant he grabbed me with his other claw and took off. He flew at intense speeds towards the Obelisk. However just before we reached the Obelisk, at the entrance of the forest, Spyro was shot down by several venom shots from a Xenomorph warrior below. Spyro fell to the ground with a massive slam. I was thrown from his claws a few meters away and Ulgi fell next to me, he was unconscious and thankfully didn't sustain any serious damage from the crash, I said "Lord Spyro are you okay". He got up and replied "I am alright son; thought the venom is getting to my mind. I wonder what it is from."

Suddenly a voice answered Spyro's answer. I heard the voice of Skullcrusher say "It is one of my own designs. A bred Xenomorph warrior capable of shooting down the strongest of creatures. That is of course what started the Xenonian invasion, me using their border patrols for research of my own."

Spyro looked at Skullcrusher in rage and said "What have you done Skullcrusher, this is madness, you should not play with life!" however Skullcrusher merely laughed and said "Or what Spyro? Look around you; it is only you, a giga and a weakened almost dead Xeno warrior. And I have myself, my Xeno weapon and 2 skulldoms, This is an encounter you will not survive, and just like your sister, you shall die".

The realization settled in a moment later. Skullcrusher had killed Arachnid. Spyro also realized and his eyes went red with rage, he shouted "I will kill you all!" he was about to charge when Ulgi groaned in pain. That snapped Spyro out of his anger as he picked up Ulgi and said "We have to retreat Gigant, take Ulgi and I will cover you." I instantly refused and said "With all due respect, our kingdom needs you more than me". Spyro was about to argue when he saw the determination in my eyes and agreed. He then slowly backed away towards the obelisk to activate it.

Skullcrusher walked forwards to stop him but I stepped in front of him. He laughed and said "Step aside son and let me finish my job." However what he did not know was that I had been controlling the rage of the death of Arachnid, and as soon as he was about to push me aside I quickly bit him and pushed him back. Skullcrusher said "You dare attack me? I will destroy you". And with that he charged.

Now even while in such rage I stood no change against Skullcrusher, but I had to buy time. So I rushed to meet his charge, at the last moment I dodged right but he was expecting it and wrapped his tail around me, he then threw me into a broken tree impaling my back into it. I quickly got up and used my smaller size to dodge his bites and chomp on his tail. He roared in pain before biting into my shoulder and almost tearing one of my hands off, however I managed to swipe my tail into his eye which forced him to let go. I than jumped onto him and as expected he fell from the weight. However he expected this and as soon as he fell he used is tail to again wrap around me, he then started to crush me so hard I could almost feel my bones cracking. He then let go and put his massive jaws onto my neck and pinned me to the ground, I could feel my life flashing before my eyes; I also saw a fireball coming straight for Skullcrusher knocking him back. Spyro suddenly appeared and picked me up before he finally teleported us away. The last thing I heard was Skullcrusher screaming in rage.

We teleported back to Spyro's castle at the Center where several Iguanodons rushed me and Ulgi to the hospital wing where I was forced to eat the disgusting Dino-tonic which instantly started to fix my injuries. Healing paste was also applied to my major injuries causing me to become unconscious from the pain. The last thing I remembered was Spyro and Bokito outside the ward talking about the loss of their sister. Than blackness.
