Aphmau POV

Me and Nick were in town, doing some shopping when somebody runs into us and takes our bags. It's a teenage boy with brown hair and a camera for a face.

"Hey! Get back here you thief!" Nick starts to run after him with me running after them both. I would run faster but I want to see where the boy goes. Soon, we end up in the forest. "We lost him! Jess, use your powers to sense his aura." Nick turns to me.

"There's no point." I tell him before walking into the forest and look up to see him on a tree branch.

"You found him! Hey! Give us back our food!" Nick starts shouting at him, making him even more scared.

"Nick! Be quiet. Can't you see that he is scared? Just look at the poor boy." I got him over the head.

"Sorry leader." He mumbles before turning back to the boy. Suddenly, the branch the boy was sitting on snaps, making him fall into my arms. I think the fear was too much for him since he is now unconscious.

"Let's take him back to the base for now." We both start to walk back towards the base and I take the boy to my room. "Go get him some clothes. His own are wrecked and it looks like he hasn't showered in months. Bring some food up as well." I tell him. He leaves my bedroom and comes back a while later with clothes and a variety of food.

"I didn't know what you wanted so I got him this." Nick tells me before sitting down next to the door and going on his phone. I just sit and wait for the boy to wake up.

"W-where am I?" He opens his eyes slowly and looks around before looking at Nick, his eyes going wide. "I-I'm sorry! I was just hungry." He starts to shout and cry so I go and hug him, using my magic to help him calm down.

"It's okay. We won't hurt you. Now why don't you eat some food while I go and run you a bath? We can talk after you are cleaned." I tell him before placing the tray on the bed and walking into the bathroom to run him a quick bath. He should probably have a shower first but I just want him to be able to relax before we figure out who he is and where he came from.

"Jess! Can you come in here for a second?!" I hear Nick shout so I stop the bubble bath and walk back in to see the boy looking at the food.

"What's wrong?" I ask him. He just shakes his head at the food. Oh right! He might think it's poisoned.

"Don't worry. It's nothing bad, see?" I take a piece of apple and eat it before patting his head and going back into the bathroom. As soon as his bath is ready, I go out to see that most of the food has been eaten but a sandwich. He holds it out to me, making my stomach growl.

"Here." He mumbles before giving it to me. I thank him before grabbing his clothes and giving them to him and leading him into the bathroom.

"Take a bath. The towel is on the rack and these are now your clothes. Take as long as you need." I smile at him before shutting the door and eating my sandwich. "You can go too Nick. I have to go through some private files." I tell him.

"Call me if you need me." He goes out of the room and shuts the door behind him so I go over to my computer desk and start to do my work. After about an hour, I hear the door open so I turn around to see the boy looking clean with his new clothes on. The camera face just makes him even more cute!

"Hey there! Are you ready to talk? I have a few questions for you." I smile at him before standing up and leading him to the bed, sitting down next to him. "So what is your name?" I ask him.

"I-it's Cory." He mumbles shyly.

"My name is Jessica but you can just call me Jess. Now you ask me a question." I smile at him.

"Why did you help me?" He asks me. "The other boy who was here didn't like me very much.

"Believe it or not, we were all like that once. We either had no one or we wanted an adventure. Me and Nick fall into the whole alone category. I just saw somebody in need and decided to help." I explain to him.

"But then what is this place?" He asks me, looking around my pretty secure room.

"This is the Sky Army headquarters. We are a group of good people trying to save the world. I'm one of the leaders along with my other friends who helped me create this Army. So where did you come from and why are you living in the streets?" I explain to him before asking.

"I was abandoned by my parents at a young age because of my camera face and the orphanage always bullied me so I ran away a few months ago. I've been stealing resources to survive." He explains to me.

"Well you have a home here." I tell him. He looks at me shocked.

"What do you mean?" He asks, confused.

"Would you like to join the Sky Army?"
