" this is not what I expected today to be like. "

Both you and Tom had the day off, wanting to spend it together as a family. Unfortunately, all your plans were foiled when little raindrops started to fall from the sky; raindrops turning into pouring rain. The thunder and lightning just made it worse.

However, the fact that Tom was dancing around the living room with a pink tutu on was ten times better than going to the fair. Your daughter was squealing with laughter in your lap, not even caring that it was storming. A Taylor Swift song was playing in the background, Tom posing for the invisible pictures you both were taking.

"Adelaide, take photos with your dad!" Tom exclaimed, taking her hand and attempting to lead her to the middle of the living room floor; despite her not yet ready to walk.

You took your phone out, taking a little video for your Instagram story. The two danced around the room a little, suddenly jumping up and down when Adelaide's favourite group came on. At one point in time, One Direction was your favourite boyband. It seemed so weird how your old likes were now hers. Tom sat Adelaide on the couch, her getting a little tired from all the dancing.

"You two are crazy," you exclaimed over the loud music, grinning at the two of them. Tom motioned for you to get up, holding out his hand for you to take. You gladly took it, him placing his hand on your waist as a slow song started to play. Your hands traveled up to his free hand, your other going to rest on his shoulder.

"You know, this isn't what I expected today to be like," you giggled, looking at Adelaide watching and clapping for the two of you on the couch.

Tom furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what you were trying to say. "And what would that exactly be?"

"I never expected you to be dressed up in a pink tutu with a tiara on your head on a Saturday morning. I do like the new look, though," you admitted, enjoying that he had the day off from his work. "I love you both. So much."

Adelaide tried to move from the couch to your legs, wanting to be included in your little moment. Tom picked her up from the couch, pressing a long kiss to her temple. You smiled at her, watching as her face lit up with each new song that started to play from the speakers.

"We have an extra tiara if you would like it?" Tom asked, giving the tiara to Adelaide. She quickly grinned, turning to you and placing it on your head.

She threw her hands up in the air, fairly satisfied with her lopsided job of putting on your tiara. You and Tom both clapped for her, knowing that she loved the publicity she often got inside the house; wether it was just for a simple photo or applause.

"Now all we need is Harrison to complete the little set of royals." You joked, genuinely wishing that Haz was there so you could solely see him in a tutu.
