Not too long ago, Peter was making witty remarks with you while fighting some of Thanos' descendants. Now, you were all face to face with the man himself - but with only a few stones in his gold gauntlet, he was the most powerful man in the entire galaxy.
The emotions lingering in your brain dragged you down and distracted you, heart aching to just be back home safe in New York with Peter in your arms.
A warm tear escaped your eye, running down your cheek as you watched your family suffer the wrath of Thanos. You tried your hardest to keep your feelings quiet when you heard your father's pain-stricken groan. Feeling useless, you stayed behind rubble, trying to keep pressure on your, rather large, wounds.
You thought that you weren't anything special, other than being Tony Stark's son/daughter. There was no supernatural power lingering in your system, nor was there any show-stopping abilities to stop him from hurting the people you loved the most.
The calm breathing that you once had was completely obliterated, becoming uneven and rapid as soon as you heard the familiar heavy footsteps behind you.
A large hand reached over the rubble, your arm being captured in the painful grip. It dragged you through the sharp rocks and garbage littering the ground., not making your wounds any better. The sobs slipped through your lips, realizing that most of your friends were injured and on the ground. Your eyesight went hazy, as they filled with tears again.
Peter's uncontrolled and unsteady cries for you were the last things you heard before everything quickly faded out into nothing but silence. The pain that was in your arm had subsided, your main focus being placed on the pain that was now surging through your brain. Thanos' hand was engulfing your head, his fingers putting more pain in your head with every second that passed.
As much as you didn't want to, you stayed under his hand, knowing that you couldn't give Thanos the time stone. Your hopes and emotions sank when you watched Strange place the green stone in Thanos' hand, muttering something to your father. Finally getting your hearing back, your body went limp and fell to the ground, feeling too weak to move. One moment, Thanos was standing behind you, and the next, he was gone.
Peter made sure the coast was clear before rushing out to you, being the first thing you saw when you opened your eyes. He smiled with tears falling down his cheeks when he saw you breathing. Although, he had noticed your y/e/c eyes dull and not full of the spark that was usually there.
"Hey y/n. You're okay, I got you. You're safe." He whispered, pushing away the stray hairs from your face. Placing his hand on the back of your head and the other on your back, he brought you as close as he could, hoping that this wasn't the last time he held you.
Your father followed, engulfing the both of you in a warm and comforting hug, whispering that he would do anything to keep the two of you safe. After all, Peter was the one who put the promise ring on your finger.
Thanos now had another infinity stone, and was now one step closer to controlling the entire galaxy.

You watched with horror in your eyes as the people you considered as your friends faded into nothing but dust. Peter immediately rushed over to you, engulfing you in a warm hug. "I don't wanna go, y/n. I want to stay here with you. Please." He whispered.
Tears filled your eyes as you realized what was going to happen. You carefully laid on the ground with him, holding his hand as tight as you could. His feet faded first, the tears now rolling down both your and Peter's cheeks.
"I love you so much, I will never stop loving you no matter what happens," he brought your hand up to his cheek, wanting to feel your loving touch one more time. "Goodbye, my love."
"Don't say that, Peter," you said in between sobs, your heart breaking as you watched his torso disappear. "I love you so much, don't leave me, Peter, please."
He faded into dust, exactly how everyone else did. Peter was gone. The sobs escaped your lips once again, this time, becoming more violent than ever. Your father quickly rushed to your side, taking you in his arms. He knew how much you loved each other and before, he couldn't bear to think about what would happen if you lost one another. But it happened, and he wasn't sure how to deal with the loss of two things.
The loss of his almost-son and the loss of his son/daughter's happiness.
"How am I supposed to feel? What am I supposed to do now, dad?" You cried out in pain, both physical and emotional. Gripping onto his shoulders, you held your dad as tight as you could, worried that you would loose him too. He wasn't going anywhere, but he didn't know what to say; after all, you had lost your other half.
"We try and fix what has been done. We do everything we can, y/n/n." In all truthfulness, he had no idea what to do. But he'd find a way to bring them back, he'd find a way to make you whole again.
He promised himself that he would find a way.

heyyy... I made this when I was in a mood and wrote this in one sitting. I finished this at 12:30 am and I was almost sobbing fr. I'm literally so sorry I wrote this because I was REALLY sad, but I mean, I don't really have any sad ones in this book so I guess this is an improvement.
I emotionally damaged myself a lil bit writing this. Sigh.
